Popular NXT tag team Enzo Amore and Big Cass were in action last night at a WWE Live event in Odessa, Texas, accompanied by Carmella. They defeated former NXT tag team champions The Ascension, and reports coming in noted that both received a good reaction from the fans for being NXT stars.

Enzo and Cass had previously been involved in a program with Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy, but now that they’re no longer involved in the tag team title picture, it’s very possible we could see the two called up to the main roster soon.

They should swap with Ascension. Except they'd get a decent gimmick and title run.

I feel like Enzo needs a little more development in the ring before he is ready for the main roster.

be pushed for a like 3 months...then they job because Vince doesn't get them even if they are over as fuck...7 Months later they try to give Big Cass a push so they make Enzo heel and turn on him...both get lost in the shuffle as jobbers...released

Even though they're a bit green, still, they're one of the most entertaining parts of NXT for me. I'm a big fan, and I can only hope they'll do well on the main roster. I would love a promo-heavy feud between them and PTP or the New Day.

Having an Italian-Americanish team feuding with an African-American team?

Or, you know, they could just feud for the titles and not have race be an issue at all.

Why cant they call up the Vaudevillains? Aiden English has more charisma in his little finger than both of those dudes combined.

Well my point is, even if WWE just made them feud for the Title, someone somewhere would somehow find a way to link the storyline of said feud to a racism thing.
Bloggers that "supposedly" know things about wrestling, or some radio personalities (like Dave Meltzer) will always try to make something that's just "that simple" into something completely and stupidly complex

Then again, some fans also buy that crap because some are really that stupid...

As far as wrestling radio personalities go, I don't think Meltzer or any of the Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Daily people are the ones that would make it about race. There are a lot more people in the wrestling radio scene that are a lot more sensationalists than Meltzer.

Well, anyway... I would enjoy the feud.

Also, seconded on calling the Vaudevillains up. Though, my fear of WWE misusing them goes double for those two. I still remember Vince handing down to announcers that Deuce 'N Domino weren't just two guys who liked 50's style clothes and music, but were "crazy" and thought that it actually was the 1950s.

I'm almost positive I'll like these guys.
