Puma is releasing Metal Gear Solid: Phantom Pain-licensed boots.

The boots were revealed via Hideo Kojima’s Twitter account. According to the tweets, the boots come complete with their own guêtres just like Big Boss’ in-game footwear.



Tie-ins with MSG: The Phantom Pain are happening everywhere. So far we’ve seen a Metal Gear Ray figurine, Snake’s motorcycle, a clothing line, Play Arts Kai figures, and of course, there’s an exclusive PS4 which comes with Snakes arm.

There’s also the surreal story of a real life head transplant doctor who bears a resemblance to a character in The Phantom Pain, although the likeness is completely coincidental, apparently.
