The XWA Universe is alive tonight as they've just finished watching an amazing contest between Dante Cross and Minkaro. What could possibly follow that up? Evolution by Korn blasts through the PA system as if to answer that question as the crowd goes wild for the Hall of Famer. The big man walks out, still rocking a few stitches from the battle he had against Michael Astin very recently. The big man wastes no time asking for a mic as his music dyes down.
"Whew, I forgot how much fun getting into a bloody brawl gets my blood boiling!"
The fans go insane at this comment, having all enjoyed the match quite a bit despite it's outcome.
"I might not have beaten him, but Ill get Astin next time, but that's not why I'm out here. No, tonight, I've decided that I want to get right back into the thick of things. I want a challenge to keep me going. I want to fight again, I want to see my blood in front of me, and I want to break my opponent like a twig."
The fans go wild at hearing that T.K. wants to continue wrestling, meaning that this will hopefully last more than a month before he disappears into nothingness.
"Only problem here is, I don't have anyone to face! I mean, it'd be one thing to just go backstage and punch someone in the face, but I've been told that that's actually frowned upon when the person in question isn't on the main roster. Sorry Brian, not really. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is, I need an opponent that wants to fight at United Xtreme, you can be a friend of mine, you can hate my guts. I just want a fight. So anyone back there want to spill some blood?"
T.K. waits as the fans quiet down, wondering who will answer the call. Suddenly ...
"He who makes a beast out of himself gets rid of the paaain of bein' a maaan."
The fans erupt in cheers as the freshly returned Danny Diamond steps onto the stage. T.K. looks on with a grin, as he's both teamed and faced this man in the past. Diamond, after making his intentions known to return to action at United Xtreme, in his homeland of England, walks onto the entrance ramp and begins making his way down to the ring, microphone in hand.
"Hello there, mate. Remember me? Of course you do. I've kicked your arse enough times for you to remember me, right?"
Danny lets out a light chuckle, as T.K. continues grinning, having expected the usual arrogance to be shown from Diamond. Danny reaches the squared circle and walks up the steps before entering through the middle and top ropes.
"Now, you need an opponent for United Xtreme. ... I need an opponent for United Xtreme. This problem sounds like it has an easy fix. Those of you who want to see T.K. take on Danny Diamond in my home country, let me hear it!"
More loud cheers come from the crowd, as Danny puts his hand up to his ear. He nods, whilst T.K. continues to silently grin.
"Sounds like they want it, old buddy. Personally, I wouldn't mind getting to mix it up with you one more time. I've just got one question for you."
T.K. raises an eyebrow, as if to show he's curious about what Danny's question is. "The Prized Gem" steps closer to the big man, before surprising the audience and slapping the taste out of his mouth! The grin that was on T.K.'s face quickly dissolves, as a look of confusion and anger comes across him. The audience lets out a heavily mixed reaction, as T.K. drops his microphone.
"What the hell happened to you?"
T.K. looks ready to explode at this point, but Danny doesn't back down.
"Remember CENSORED? Huh, do you remember it? Remember that guy that beat me in the Sixty Minutes In Hell Match we had, simply to prove how fucking barbaric we are? Because I do. And this ..."
Danny points at T.K. from his toes to his head.
"This isn't that guy. You're not the 'Evolution of Man'. You're the 'Devolution of T.K.'. You pander to these fools and what do you get for it? An arse whooping at the hands of Shade. Oh, sorry, Michael Astin. The point is, you're not the same man I took under my wing a few years ago. You've devolved into, quite simply, a bitch."
By now, the audience is completely booing Danny and T.K. certainly doesn't look any more calm.
"I mean, how do you sleep at night knowing this is what you've become? Fuck, I could hardly look at myself in the mirror last week when I returned, after I got cheered by these lowlifes. And, come on, who wouldn't wanna look at this in the mirror?"
Danny cracks a smile, but T.K. is clearly not amused.
"But my sexiness aside, you are quite simply not worthy of being in the same ring as me. There was a time when you were, but that time is long passed. However, I'll give you a chance to redeem yourself. At United Xtreme, in front of my people, I will face you. However, we're going to do this my way. And my way is ... well, I'm thinking a street fight sounds pretty fun. Don't you agree?"
The fans are brought back to cheering, but Danny is quick to cut them off.
"I was asking him, not you."
And, again, boos. Danny extends his microphone out to T.K., because he dropped his earlier, to get a response. "The Evolution of Man" stares at Danny, not having changed his facial expression since being slapped in the face. He quickly swats the microphone out of Danny's hand and grabs him by the throat, much to the delight of the crowd! At first, Danny panics, but he quickly calms himself down. He starts screaming at T.K., audible even without a microphone.
"Yes! Yes! This is 'The Crimson Giant' that I know! I knew he was still there, deep down!"
T.K. continues to hold onto Danny by his throat, as the Englishman smiles at his possible opponent for United Xtreme. The XWA Hall of Famer finally releases his grip, the audience booing this, as T.K. shakes his head and takes a step back, not wanting to succumb to Danny's words. Danny lets out a light chuckle before looking to blindside T.K. with a surprising Superkick to the throat, dubbed the Sudden Death, but T.K. manages to catch Danny by his foot! The fans cheer again as Danny stands, hopping about on one foot, as T.K. finally lets out another grin. A look of shock and horror comes across Danny's face, but he quickly pushes T.K. away with his foot, causing him to let go, and then slides out of the ring as fast as he can. Instead of giving chase, T.K. stays behind, picking up the microphone.
"You're on!"
T.K. tosses the microphone out of the ring, aimed at Danny, but Diamond just barely manages to duck and miss having his head taken off by a flying microphone. The fans cheer loudly as the match is official. At United Xtreme, Danny Diamond and T.K. square off in a Street Fight. The show cuts to a commercial break.
