After talking to a few people today at the SmackDown tapings word going around is that Brock Lesnar is very close to agreeing on a new contract with the WWE. With the lack of popularity that Roman Reigns has received as of late, Triple H is pushing Vince on the idea of keeping the WWE Championship on Brock.
This would also have huge ramifications with two of the under card matches on the show.
If Brock retains the title it would in all likelihood mean a continued "special attraction schedule" for him. Triple H as of late has been big on the idea that the I.C. Title and the U.S. Title should mean something again. The plan, if Brock retains is to put the U.S. Title on John Cena and the I.C. Title on Daniel Bryan. The theory would be that two legit Superstars would bring legitimacy to both titles. Also, while Brock is gone both men can main event Raw, Smackdown, PPVs and house shows with those titles on top of the card. Which again, would bring back the legitimacy of both belts.
A lot can change between now and WrestleMania. But this is just one of the many ideas that are being discussed. I have not been told of any other ideas, but if I hear more, I will be sure to pass the information along to this great community.
How confident of this am I? Not very. But Metsfan did accurately state Roman was going over Bryan a day after Meltzer said WWE had notified people that Bryan was going over. |

| You know there is a better way to make the mid card title seem more legit rather then just keeping the world title off TV. Book them like they fucking matter.
Either Reigns or Seth better walk out the champion, hell I take fucking Hornswoggle if it meant taking the damn belt off the ultimate part timer. |

| I would have no problem with Brock walking out as champion if it meant we were getting a Rollins and Reigns double switch.
if it led to a push of Seth Rollins as a legitimate opponent and a one-on-one match at Money in the Bank for the title... that's awesome. |

| I don't mind having Lesnar as champion, but I've never been keen on the "special attraction schedule". As good as Heyman is at keeping storylines going with his in-ring promos each week, it's no substitute for having Lesnar there more often than not to build a feud with the #1 contender, whoever it is.
With regards to the US and IC titles, I think they both undermine each other. Considering that the titles aren't exclusive to Raw or Smackdown anymore, I don't think it makes much sense to have essentially 2 mid-card titles. If they were unified, then I think that it could work as a makeshift main event title for TV and the live events.

| I don't mind the Special Attraction Schedule. Brock is a legitimate draw. As long as he's willing to put guys over, I don't mind. I wish WWE took building the PPVs he doesn't compete on more seriously, though. |

What's the point of being on the WWE roster when he's getting paid to do virtually nothing and is the champion? Eventually more people are going to start getting pissed off at this... |

Well at least I'm not alone. I mean, when Rock was Champion, he did appear more and I felt he did care about the product. Not to mention he did try and create a story with Punk and Cena. Still not perfect, but it's something at least.
Lesnar just doesn't care about wrestling at all and even when he does appear, he adds nothing to the show for me. Even watching him wrestle isn't that exciting to me as he has less moves than the apparent five Cena's meant to have; "F-5, Knee to the gut, German Suplex and a chronic scream" <_<
I really hope Reigns walks out as champion. |

| I said it back before Fastlane. Reigns vs Daniel Bryan would make a much better and more interesting main event. The shit that is going on with Reigns would be happening to Daniel Bryan. Having to deal with the manger over the actual guy with the fucking title. |

vs. Undertaker - not good
vs. CM Punk - excellent

vs. Cena - very good

| Rock vs Punk matches where pretty decent, only reason why most hate them is because Punk lost. Cena vs Rock 1 was a good match and was better then their 2nd match.
and if you want to talk about overall career tho, Rock has had way more better matches then Brock ever had. |

| Rock vs Punk were excellent matches. and while Cena vs Rock weren't particularly great due to being overhyped, they weren't horrible. Just overhyped. Brock's had more matches because he's been there as a part timer longer than Rock has. Also, having good matches shouldn't be the complete difference between "EW PART TIMER!" and "OMG I LOVE HIM", especially when Rock has so much more in his corner. ____________________ . There is also:
-mic skills
-how hard they actually work
-effort
-time they take to show up (Rock showed up on almost every show as champ, only missed a few)
-how well they draw (lesnar doesn't, whereas Rock did)
etc. etc.
Ring work isn't the be all end all to everything. There is a lot more to consider. Brock being a better wrestler shouldn't automatically put him above The Rock in every way, especially when leaping from "I hate him" to "holy shit he's awesome!" ____________________ .
