The following match is XWA Endure's pre-show match, The Kotzebue Kid vs. Akira. Both competitors are already inside the ring. There's a different commentary team for this match. Since this is a pre-show match, Ted Cedar and Adam Dennis are preparing themselves for the Pay-Per-View event, so this match will be announced by usual Vendetta interviewers Mike Lamar and Brian Johnson.

Mike - Hello, XWA fans. I'm Mike Lamar, along with Brian Johnson, and we're here to present you the Pre-Show for XWA Endure, being broadcasted live via Internet, on XWA's Ustream channel.

Brian - This match will feature the formerly good talent Akira, which is going to get an easy win against The Kotzebue Kid!

Mike - Formerly good talent? Easy win? What the hell are you talking about?

Brian - Isn't it obvious? Akira is way past his prime, he can't compete in a high level! But even though I don't like the guy, just look at his opponent... Akira is very, VERY much bigger than him! The size advantage is HUGE!!

Mike - We can't say it's easy before we see it happening. And it will start now!

Both competitors seem to be very concentrated. The Kotzebue Kid wants to make a good first impression, even if it's against a much bigger opponent than him, while Akira wants to put his career back on track by doing a very good match, not underestimating his opponent. The referee gives the order, the bell rings, and the match begins.

DING DING DING!!!

The competitors get close to each other and start a clinch that doesn't last long. Taking advantage of being bigger than Kid, Akira makes the first moves, hitting a knee to Kid's gut and a hammerfist to his back, making him fall. Kid gets up after some seconds, and Akira continues the attack. He delivers some punches to Kid's face, making him a little bit groggy, and does an Irish Whip, sending Kid to the ropes. When Kid comes back from them, Akira hits him with another knee to the gut, bending him down. Then, Akira puts Kid in a Front Facelock position and does a Snap Suplex, quickly sending Kid back-first to the mat. He follows that move with a pin attempt. Referee counts:

1...
...and Kid kicks out before the two-count.

Mike - I don't know if Akira is playing with Kid or if he's being too cautious!

Brian - It would be nice to see Akira bullying with this little kid, but we all know he doesn't do that. So yes, he's being too cautious. That's one of the things I hate about him: sometimes he's put against those little kids and he doesn't show any dominance!

Mike - What would happen if Akira just stopped giving a damn about sportsmanship and started using his size and technique to just make his opponents suffer?

Brian - That's a question I'd love to see getting answered...

Akira gets up and waits for Kid to get up too. When he starts getting up, Akira runs to the ropes, taking impulse, and runs back towards the already standing Kid. However, before Akira thinks about anything, Kid drops Akira with his legs, doing a Drop Toe Hold. The fans get surprised by that reversal and by the fact Akira got caught so easily, and start to wonder why this happened. Akira gets up after taking that move, and Kid is waiting him. Kid hits Akira with some chops to the chest, making him take some steps back with each hit, and after more chops Kid takes Akira to the corner, where he continues striking for some time. Then, he pulls Akira from the corner, trying to Irish Whip him to the opposite corner, but Akira manages to reverse the Irish Whip, and Kis is the one who goes to the corner, hitting his back on the turnbuckles. Akira runs towards Kid and hits him with a Clothesline. The power of that Clothesline makes Kid fall sitting close to the corner. Taking advantage of that position, Akira runs to the ropes to the left of that corner, and, after getting impulse from them, runs towards Kid at full-speed, hitting his boot on Kid's face. The momentum makes Akira's leg pass through the ropes. It's one of Akira's signature moves.

Mike - Oh man, Akira just hit Kid with the Heat Drive!

Brian - Akira delivering such powerful move just at this point of the match? Now that's something interesting!

Mike - It looks like this match is going to end quickly...

Akira takes some time to take his leg out of the ropes. After that, he pulls Kid's body to the center of the ring and tries to pin him one more time. Referee counts:

1...
2...
...and Kid kicks out after the two-count.

Brian - Damn, is this boy still alive?

Mike - He didn't take that much of a beating yet, Brian...

Brian - I know, I'm just joking, can't I?

Akira gets up after the unsuccessful pin attempt and gets Kid up too. He hits some punches to Kid's head, until the moment Kid seems to be groggy. At this moment, Akira runs to the ropes, taking impulse, and then he runs towards Kid. When Kid sees Akira running towards him, he ducks, laying on the mat, and Akira runs over him, going to the opposite ropes. Kid gets up and waits for Akira, who runs back from the ropes. When Akira gets close, Kid jumps, hitting both feet on Akira's chest, doing a Dropkick that Akira couldn't evade because of the momentum caused by the running. Kid gets up after the Dropkick and goes close to the fallen Akira's lower body. He grabs Akira's legs and kicks them some times, before wrapping them and turning Akira's body front-down. Akira is locked in Kid's submission maneuver, the Texas Cloveleaf.

Mike - Can Akira tap out to this?

Brian - I don't think so...

Brian Johnson was right. Akira isn't damaged badly enough to suffer with a submission move from somebody way smaller than him. Akira starts creeping, trying to get close to the ropes. Kid tries to stop Akira by applying more pressure on his legs, but he couldn't. It was just a matter of time until Akira managed to grab the lower rope, forcing his opponent to break the hold. Kid doesn't like the fact that his efforts aren't working that much against Akira. On the other hand, Akira's "bureaucratic" and somewhat "boring" style of fightning with too much caution, but taking too much risks, isn't well-regarded by the fans, who start to boo him and chant:

Fans - BOOOOOOOOOOOOORING...
BOOOOOOOOOOOOORING...
BOOOOOOOOOOOOORING...

Brian - FINALLY!!

Mike - Finally what?

Brian - Finally Akira is getting what he deserves! He's so boring that even the fans can't stand him anymore!

Akira gets up with help from the ropes, hearing the boos from the crowd. This makes him realize the fans aren't liking the way he's competing. At the same time, Kid gets close to him, taking advantage that Akira is paying attention on the fans. Kid does an Irish Whip, throwing Akira to the opposite ropes, and then goes to the center of the ring. When Akira hits the ropes, Kid jumps, in order to hit Akira with another Dropkick. However, Akira holds the ropes, breaking the momentum, and Kid hits nothing but his back on the mat. Kid puts one of his hands on his back, feeling the pain caused by the hard landing. Akira then decides that he needs to finish this boring match. He goes close to Kid and gets him up, and then he lifts him up, putting him on his shoulders, in a Fireman's Carry position. He then falls backwards, crashing Kid's back onto the canvas with a Samoan Drop. He then goes to the closest corner and climbs up the top turnbuckle. From there, he jumps, falling on Kid, doing a Diving Body Splash followed by a pinfall attempt. The referee counts:

1...
2...
...and Kid somewhat manages to kick out at 2.75.

Brian - Now I can say it: DAMN, is this boy still alive??

Mike - It's hard to believe he could kick out of that, but we know he's just delaying the inevitable.

Akira gets up after the pin attempt and then moves his arms, shouting "IT'S OVER!", getting mixed reactions from the fans. He gets Kid up and puts his head between his legs, holding him by his waist. Akira then lifts Kid, putting his body almost in a vertical position, before falling sitting on the mat, bringing Kid with him, and crushing Kid's head onto the mat. Akira just used one of Kid's finishing moves against him.

Mike - Hey, Akira has A-Copy'ed The Kotzebue Kid's Piledriver!!

Brian - Now I think this shit is finally over...

After hitting Kid's own finisher against him, Akira makes the pin and the referee makes the counting:

1...
2...
3!!!

The referee calls for the bell to be rung, ending the match.

DING DING DING!!!

Akira's theme, "Lazy Mind", starts playing, while the referee goes close to Akira, who is getting up, and raises Akira's hand, while XWA ring announcer Laura Watts announces him as the winner:

Laura Watts - Here's your winner: "Lightning Warrior"... AKIRA!!!

Akira goes to the corner to celebrate the victory, but he doesn't have much to celebrate. He just defeated somebody that was way smaller than him, and he put himself in trouble while trying to do it! The fans know this, and this is the reason Akira isn't cheered so much by them after this win.

Brian - Yeah Mike, I get what you said before the start... we can't say it's easy before we see it happening. Akira just got an easy match and made it look difficult! The match was so boring that even the fans hated it!

Mike - Yeah, at this time I have to agree with you, Brian. Akira was too cautious, and he took too much risk. He didn't show any signal that he was putting effort in this, that's why the match was so boring to see. He won't go far with this fighting style, and I think he knows it.

After some time in the ring, thinking about the match he (poorly) won, he decides to leave the ring. After that, he starts walking up the ramp. Usually, he greets his fans and thanks them for cheering him, but tonight he looks so embarrassed that he continues walking without going close to the crowd. The fans notice this and boo him even more. Akira goes through the entrance portal and leaves the arena, going backstage, while Mike Lamar finishes the pre-show.

Mike - And that's it for the pre-show of XWA Endure! If you want to continue watching, buy the Pay-Per-View and enjoy the action! See you next time!
