Drake Dysfunction(c) vs. Jaylon Brown Empty
PostSubject: Re: Drake Dysfunction(c) vs. Jaylon Brown   Drake Dysfunction(c) vs. Jaylon Brown EmptyWed Sep 11, 2013 10:16 pm

The Intercontinental Championship. A title that Jaylon Brown has held twice before, and a title that Nate Insano currently possesses and has possessed in the past. However, quantity doesn’t matter in XWA. Quality matters in XWA. Skill matters. Perseverance. Charisma. Stamina. Power. Strength. Oh, the list is endless! You see, both of these gladiators contain it all. The real question is, who is better? Who is stronger? Who is the rightful owner of this prestigious championship? Tonight, we will truly find out. Everything will be tested. The title is on the line. The crowd is on anticipating fire. The ring consists of nothing but threat and possibly… blood. And the worst of all.. he is coming. His eyes are set on the gold that he has held before.

Jaylon Brown is ready.

As the bell echoes around the arena, Jaylon Brown and Drake Dysfunction glare at each other from across the squared circle. Brown, much heavier and taller, seems to have the physical advantage, whilst Drake has the advantage of being a better technician and having vast experience, having been a former World Champion of this company. However, none of this seems to matter as the two simply begin brawling; punch after punch lands unhindered across the jaw of the opposition. Finally, Jaylon’s size advantage plays to his benefit, and he lands two consecutive right hooks, enough to knock the champion back a few steps. Proceeding to push Dysfunction against the ropes, Brown then sends his opponent across the ring—off the far ropes—before darting back towards him. Tonight, The Huffman has to prove he is a warrior as he has battled all the way here, undefeated in the World Title tournament, refusing to step down from a match. With this thought, the young Floridian bends forward to prepare for Drake’s inevitable return, but instead tastes the leather of his foe’s boot; Nate kicking him in the face to block any assault he had planned! Brown’s body whips straight up where he stands motionless and stunned. In that moment, the champion capitalizes instantly; leaping into the air, and delivering a perfect Standing Dropkick, sending Jaylon to the corner. As Brown is slow to turn around, feeling his jaw after the dropkick, Dysfunction is already on the run, charging right after him. Luckily, as if he had a ‘third eye’, Brown turns around and elbows Drake right at his face, having him fall down to the mat within seconds from the pressure! The crowd lets out a loud ‘OOH’ as they hear the resounding noise of the move.

Jaylon Brown wastes little time in taking the fight to the reigning champion; knowing full well he will have to continue the onslaught in order to come out on top. With The Demolition brought to the canvas thanks to the elbow shot, Brown proceeds to stomp away at his adversary; circling the downed star as he stomps and kicks at every feature he could, from Drake’s limbs to his core. The cheers emanating from the crowd are near deafening, and Jaylon rewards them with more fun as he continues his assault; finishing up with a hard, punt-like kick to the midsection! Clutching his abdomen in pain, Dysfunction rolls around on the mat, a pained visage painted upon his face as Jaylon takes his time to taunt the crowd. Turning back to his opponent after a moment or so, Brown leans down, pulls Drake to his feet, and proceeds to whip him across the ring. However, his planned move is interrupted as Dysfunction halts, pulls Jaylon towards him, and sends him across the ring instead, only to pull him back, and connect with a stiff Clothesline across the larynx! Scrambling back to his feet, Brown is immediately met by the onrushing Drake as The New Evolutionist makes an impressive jump into the air, nailing Jaylon in the back with a Dropkick! Falling through the ropes and onto the arena floor below, Brown isn’t quite as quick to his feet this time. There, the Intercontinental Champion takes the initiative and charges across the ring, rebounds off of the ropes and heads straight for Jaylon who only just gets to his feet; leaping through the middle rope, Drake drives his shoulder into his opponent with an impressive Suicide Dive! The crowd is quite excited to see some flying action, however jeers are still dominant over the cheers for Drake’s actions.

Drake Dysfunction doesn't waste any time in going back after his foe; neither men were going to win or get back to winning ways if they were both counted out, and the referee is already approaching a count of five. Pulling Brown back to his feet, Dysfunction rolls him back into the ring; though Drake himself takes a bit of a different route, as he hops onto the apron and continues to climb the turnbuckle, looking to go high-risk once again. Without even the slightest of hesitation, Drake jumps off the top rope just as swiftly and easily as he climbed on top of it, attempting to take the rising Jaylon off his feet with a Diving Crossbody. Does it connect? Unfortunately not! With an impressive display of his own, The Prominent Persona rolls out of his opposition’s way at the nick of time, having Drake thunderously crash with the mat! Brown immediately rushes in, rolling the writhing Drake over and hooking his leg. Despite what many in the arena expected, it is just a two count as Dysfunction manages to get his shoulder up. Jaylon seems unfazed, however, as he springs to his feet, stalking the slowly rising six-foot two-inch powerhouse.

As Drake slowly arrives to a vertical base, albeit still a bit dazed, The Huffman quickly thrusts his shoulder, looking to execute his finisher Uranage Slam. Though, the resilient Dysfunction sends consecutive elbow shots to the site of Jaylon’s cranium, causing him to break the hold and move back a few steps. This buys Drake some valuable time, and he briskly grabs Brown’s wrist to send him across the ring with an Irish whip. Following closely behind his opponent, Dysfunction rams into Brown; slamming him chest-first into the turnbuckle. There, The Natural Revolution wraps his arms around Jaylon’s waist and tosses him overhead with a picture-perfect German Suplex! Even as Brown crashes down on the back of his head and neck, the champion continues to hold on; his body arched as the official rushes in for the count. Cheers flood the arena as Brown roughly manages to kick out from that brutal, bridging German Suplex, though Dysfunction doesn't seem all too shocked by his resilience, having faced The Huffman before.

Rolling back to his feet, Drake takes a quick note of the fact that Jaylon is barely coming up to his knees. Standing before the kneeling Brown, the smaller man looks out amongst the crowd; an emotionless face drawn on his visage. With this, Drake swiftly turns and delivers a hard, stiff kick to the chest of his opponent! Unfortunately for Jaylon, that isn’t enough for the champion, who has a taste for the deliverance of pain as he kicks The Huffman again and again. With each kick coming quicker and harder than the last, it is nearly impossible to keep track as to how many times Brown has felt the sharp sting of Dysfunction’s boot. By the time Drake finally relents, Brown’s chest is bright red where the leather has repeatedly struck him. Leaning down to the writhing Jaylon, he raises a hand with his index finger extended and mouths “one more?” to the audience. The audience’s predominant response isn’t very nice, but like Drake is going to abide by their needs. Still holding his finger up, Drake shakes his head with some disturbed satisfaction before swiftly spinning around, and nailing the rising Brown in the back of the head with a concentrated signature Superkick, aptly named the ‘Drake Kick!’

Just like a bag of bricks, the semi-unconscious Jaylon collapses; falling to the canvas with an audible thud. Drake looks at the crowd, who is shocked and astonished at the first brilliant big move being executed in the match-up thus far. After a little showboating, The Demolitionist turns his attention to the face-down Jaylon once more, taking a moment to assess the situation, and the many ways he could finish Brown off. Seemingly making his decision, and possibly sealing Jaylon’s fate, Drake moves in on his foe once again, grabbing the arms of Brown and carefully placing them over either knee, locking in a Camel Clutch! A few moments pass without the slightest of movement from the Floridian as he already seems to be out of it from that vicious Super Kick just minutes before; with that in mind, the official seems ready to call for the bell. However, somehow, Brown manages to come out just as the referee is about to signal for the bell; much to Dysfunction’s dismay! The arbiter has never made the call, the bell hasn’t rung, this one is still going.

With the superior strength, Jaylon manages to get himself to his knees, though just barely, and he wastes little time as he quickly turns on his side, forcing Drake to release the hold as the two competitors rise back to their feet. Up first, surprisingly enough, is Jaylon, who wastes little time in going back after Drake as he begins to bombard the kneeling Evolutionist with several fists, pummeling away at his opponent’s head. Despite this, the resurging Brown gets caught off guard by a callous Forearm Shot to the gut! Stumbling back as he clutches his midsection in anguish, Jaylon looks up just in time to see Dysfunction rushing in, looking to take Jaylon’s head off with an unyielding Clothesline. With this, Brown manages to duck under the flailing arm of Drake, who runs right to the ropes before coming to a halt, realizing he missed his desired target, but unfortunately, it’s too late. Jaylon, right behind his opposition, waits for Drake to turn before he thrusts his throat, lifts him high in the air, and slams him down on the matt with a thunderous smack; the ring shaking to its core from the insane impact! The crowd roars in excitement as they see The Prominent Persona vigorously take over this match-up, and possibly now, a triumphant victory! With this, Jaylon hooks the downed Drake’s leg for a hopeful final pin count, as the referee and audience count simultaneously. One.. two.. three!

The crowd respond with huge cheers, perhaps the largest of the night, as their fan favorite has become their beloved, three-time Intercontinental Champion!

Drake Dysfunction(c) vs. Jaylon Brown Empty
PostSubject: Re: Drake Dysfunction(c) vs. Jaylon Brown   Drake Dysfunction(c) vs. Jaylon Brown EmptyFri Sep 13, 2013 11:03 pm

The usual "Warning" label appears before us, explaining that the contents about to be shown may not be suitable for children, and that viewer discretion is advised...

5 years of risks...

Shots of many XWA Superstars putting their bodies on the line appear, such as the likes of Trace Demon taking a fall off the sadistic skyscraper known as the Tower of Doom; a match that took place earlier this year at Xtrememania V, Caleb Spires performing the 'Canadian Destroyer' off the top of a ladder, which caused him to win his Broken Neck Match, and many so much more that's too much to name.

5 years of pain...

Close-up shots of the crimson-masked faces of the XWA Superstars of old and new are being displayed now, showing each individual writhing in pain and clutching their hurt limbs. All of this footage can be viewed on XWA's DVD "The Good, the Bad, and the Bloodiest", which can only be purchased on XWAShop.com.

All the pain.... all the risks.... all the years... we ALL had to endure it all.

Now we see some clear shots of XWA Superstars of the old and of the new, posing and looking like true bad-asses. Hell, even Maestro Punk makes an appearance in this collage of shots before the screen goes to black and we see the next line of text.

5 years strong.... we still endure.

The culmination of all this is the introduction. A man with a deep voice is now heard saying

Man

"And now, the Xtreme Wrestling Association proudly presents... ENDURE!"

The view of the stylish graphic is replaced with the view of an awesome-looking stage having pyro explode around it, over it, on the sides; the usual display of over-the-top pyrotechnics. After the pyro ceases, the thousands in attendance explode in their own way: with cheering. Yes, it's a positive atmosphere already for this debuting pay-per-view in the month of September.

Ted Cedar
"Welcome, one and all, to Endure! We're emanating LIVE from the American Airlines Arena, in Miami, Florida. What a hell of a night we have in-store for you!"

Adam Dennis
"Damn right! Rumors have been swarming all over the internet, all over the numerous venues hosted by Vendetta and Revenge and even in the homes of the millions watching around the world. We've heard those rumors and TONIGHT, we find out who this anonymous guy really is!"

Ted Cedar
Whoever it is, it's bound to be a shocker, but right now, we're getting this show on the road with a title match right at the start of the show!"

Drake Dysfunction(c) vs. Jaylon Brown IC_zps7cf97eff

"It's a match that has been a long time coming. It's the sequel to a match that ended with what we thought was the end of Jaylon Brown, but tonight, we're fortunate enough to see it again. Though this time it isn't a Falls Count Anywhere Match, it's bound to be a match to die for. Drake Dysfunction is 2-1 when it comes to defending the Intercontinental Championship; can he make it 3-1 or will he tie it up 2-2, forced to call himself the former Intercontinental Champion?"

Adam Dennis
"Now, Ted, I wouldn't say he'd be forced to call himself the former Intercontinental Champion. He could call himself the future 3x Intercontinental Champion, but I'll leave that up to the referees decision."

---

Once again, these two step into the ring with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. This time, the roles have changed. The last time these two faced off, Drake Dysfunction was vying for the chance to be recognized as the Intercontinental Champion, and was successful. Now, he's the defending champion and a competitive and determined Jaylon Brown is vying for the championship. Will the Entertainer reclaim the gold he lost or will Drake Dysfunction still be the Intercontinental Champion?

Dysfunction vs. Brown II begins...right now.

---

Immediately, the eerie intro to "Whatever" by Godsmack hits the speakers, cuing the fans to heckle and boo at the man coming out now. It is none other than the XWA Intercontinental Champion himself, Drake Dysfunction, coming out with the gold clad around his waist, raising his fist up and bellowing out an audacious battle cry as he heads to the ring. The Demolitionist doesn't falter in confidence and there isn't any hint of fear on his face.

Ted Cedar
"The champ looks confident here, despite his back-to-back losses. The first of the two, he laid down on the mat and let Hitman Alex get the pinfall!"

Adam Dennis
"You know as well as I do that it was a work that was later confirmed. However, that loss to Robbie Reyes wasn't worked at all. THAT was upsetting. I believe he's showing confidence in a state where the odds are arguably not in his favor, but as the champion, it's his job to retain the belt, not lose it."

Following that point being made, Drake is entering the ring through the ropes. Once inside, he unbuckles the belt from his waist, climbs up to the second turnbuckle and raises both his fist and the prestigious belt high in the air, letting out his battle cry once more as his music fades and is replaced with the sound of a familiar tune.

The fans cheer immediately at the opening sound of "The Show Goes On" by Lupe Fiasco, understanding The Entertainer is only a few meager seconds away from appearing. As usual, Jaylon receives an overwhelming amount of support from his audience, with all his fans in attendance showing their approval of an obvious XWA favorite, looking to regain what he had lost in the first place.

Adam Dennis
"This is a man on a mission. He looks to regain what he lost at Cyberslam, and that is the Intercontinental Championship!"

Ted Cedar
"I have it on good authority that the Entertainer is not here to merely entertain the people, but mostly to reclaim what he believes is rightfully his. The 260-pounder from Tallahassee, Florida is indeed on a mission, and he looks to accomplish it here tonight."

Jaylon Brown, the self-professed Entertainer of the XWA, marches down the ramp with purpose; purpose to beat the living hell out of the man who nearly ended his career after performing that moonsault sideslam known as the 'D-2' on that electrical equipment. Sparks flew and bodies were put on the line, but the Black Magician found a way to survive and now plans on becoming a 2x XWA Intercontinental Champion. "The Huffman" reaches the ring steps, glaring at Drake Dysfunction who simply returns a smirk, raising up the belt high again and then proceeding to provoke him to come and get it. Jaylon manages to maintain his composure as he climbs up each step, not looking away from Drake Dysfunction. He walks across the apron and then steps through the ropes, STILL not losing eye contact. He then meet Drake Dysfunction at the center of the ring where the two have a staredown.

Adam Dennis
"You can just feel the intensity. Both have not been in any contact with one another since Cyberslam, so you know shit is about to go down."

Both men continue to stare. Some movement is seen, but it's only that of Drake Dysfunction handing his championship to the official for this title match. The official then raises the title in the air for the whole world to see, letting us know that this is the prize for the winner of the bout. The opening bell for the match rings as Lupe Fiasco's track fades out.

Laura Watts
"This opening bout for XWA: Endure is set for one-fall and it is for the XWA Intercontinental Championship! Introducing first, he hails from Los Angeles, California and weighed in this morning at 220 pounds. Since Vendetta #55, he is the current 2x XWA Intercontinental Champion: 'The Demolitionist' Drake Dysfunction!!!"

The boos heard at the mention of his name doesn't affect the champion one bit. He raises the fist again, proclaiming that this will be his finest hour.

Laura Watts
"And his opponent hailing from Tallahassee, Florida. He weighed in this morning at 260 pounds. 'The Entertainer' Jaylon Brown!"

"The Entertainer appeals to his fanbase as they chant his name. "Jay-lon, Jay-lon, Jay-lon, Jay-lon"! Drake Dysfunction is busy telling fans to shut up, but they won't cease no matter what he does. After Jaylon's done posing for the fans here at Endure, we're ready to get the first match of the night out of the way. Laura Watts leaves the ring and then gets handed the championship belt when she's on the outside, having to sit down with the thing until it's all over. The referee makes sure that both men are in-place and ready to start. Each nod their head and then he signals for the commencement bell.

Ted Cedar
"And here we go! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the start of Endure and we are now underway with this Intercontinental Championship Match."

Both men start motioning around the ring, looking for the opening. Drake Dysfunction and Jaylon Brown soon go into the traditional collar-and-elbow tie-up, but this is instantly interrupted within seconds by Drake Dysfunction, who lifts the knee into the gut of "The Huffman". Brown doubles over from that knee and Drake quickly sprints towards the ropes. He comes off of them and and attempts at a running high knee to the side of the head, which ultimately misses do to Jaylon standing upright. Jaylon uses this split second to capitalize with an atomic drop and then follows it up with a German suplex, sending Drake bouncing off the back of his head. He begins rolling around the ring, favoring the back of his head.

Ted Cedar
"Oh my god, what a nice combination by Jaylon Brown, turning this in his favor in the beginning stages of this match!"

Drake scrambles to his feet while favoring his head with one hand, watching as Jaylon sprints forth and clobbers him with a clothesline, sending him down. He's not done there. He picks up Drake Dysfunction by the head and then scoops him onto his shoulders, preparing for the scoop slam. However, Dysfunction pushes himself of the shoulders and manages to turn this into his favor, catching Jaylon Brown by surprise in an inverted facelock. Suddenly, he lifts him up and and over, performing an amazing inverted suplex on "The Huffman". Jaylon lands on his torso hard, getting turned over onto his back for the pin.

1....2...

The Tallahassee native kicks out, staying in the game. Jaylon then gets placed in a side headlock, getting pulled up to his feet in the process. Using his weight as an advantage, he grunts while lifting Drake up into the air and hits a suplex of his own. Drake, having landed on his back, rolls to his side while arching it in pain. This time, Jaylon goes for the cover.

1...T-

Drake gets the shoulder up, sitting up immediately only for Jaylon to wrap his arm around the neck of "The Dysfunctional One". He pulls Dysfunction up to his feet and Drake is seen tugging on the arm, trying to make Jaylon let go. However, this is answered with a clubbing forearm to the back of the head, sending Drake draping over the top rope for the moment. Drake regains his composure, shaking off the shot. He turns to see Jaylon Brown coming off the ring ropes. However, Drake dodges out of the way, causing Jaylon's to inadvertently drape his foot over the top rope.

Ted Cedar
"Oh man, looks like Jaylon was going for the
Disaster Piece."

Ted seems to have the right idea in-mind, but it doesn't matter now as he failed at his attempt to hit Dysfunction with anything. Drake capitalizes on this mistake by hitting a bicycle kick of his own, making Jaylon metaphorically eat his boot and sending him down onto his back to savor that horrible aftertaste. He takes this chance to gloat while he stands over Jaylon Brown now, screaming "That's how it's done" to "The Huffman" before he turns and taunts the crowd with the same fist in the air, posing for the fans that despise him. "Are you not entertained?" he screams to the XWA faithful, to which they respond with jeering.

Adam Dennis
"No love here for the Intercontinental Champ, huh?"

Ted Cedar
"None whatsoever, it seems... and frankly, I don't think he cares."

But then, just as Drake turns around BAM! Disaster Piece connects this time with Drake not expecting this at all as he eats the boot of "The Entertainer". Jaylon now towers over the fallen Drake Dysfunction, looking to the fans for their support. The begin cheering him on, starting a "Get Your Title" chant. This chant is used to hype him up as he begins calling Drake Dysfunction to his feet. Drake, goggy and looking like he has no idea where he is, staggeringly gets to his feet and Jaylon sets him up for the good ol' One Hit Wonder.

Ted Cedar
Oh man! It's time for that lifting side slam Jaylon Brown is known for!

Adam Dennis
"This looks to be the end of... wait a minute!"

Jaylon begins receiving elbows to the side of the head from Drake Dysfunction, afterwards taking a boot to the gut that doubles him over. Drake then grabs him by his dome and then hits the sitout facebuster he calls the Fear Factor. This move sends Jaylon Brown bouncing off his face and he lands on his back. Drake crawls over his fallen foe for the cover.

1....2....Thr-

And it's no good as Jaylon kicks out. The resilient ex-champion just kicked out of the Fear Factor, but you have to think that Drake has him where he wants him. He stands to his feet just as Jaylon Brown is rolling onto his torso, shaking the cobwebs off, so to speak. Drake, meanwhile, positions himself in the corner, waiting for Jaylon to turn around and face the music. Jaylon clings to the ring ropes for assistance in getting to his feet, still shaking off the cobwebs, but maintaining his stance. "The Entertainer" from Tallahassee groggily turns around and we see Drake sprint forth out of the corner. His attempts at possibly hitting his Scarred maneuver are thwarted, however, as Jaylon instead pulls out the Bakcbiter out of nowhere.

Ted Cedar
"The
Bakcbiter spinebuster out of nowhere! 'The Entertainer' is still in this!"

"The Entertainer" capitalizes with a pin attempt following the Backcbiter.

1....2...Thre-

And Drake Dysfunction kicks out. Jaylon now looks to really end it here, calling Dysfunction to his feet, looking at him closely to measure his prey. Dysfunction begins to get up, doubled over at this point, making him an easy victim of the Ghetto Blaster. Jaylon Brown commences with this maneuver by running to and from the ropes. However, Drake can see the man out of the corner of his eye. When Jaylon comes running back, he runs right into a Dysfunction Kick by yours truly out of freakin' nowhere. Drake stands over his fallen foe who looks out-cold. Suddenly, he picks Jaylon up off the mat and places him underneath, wanting to add insult to injury. With a smile on his face, he flips him up into a racking position before turning it into a DDT. Ladies and gentlemen, Jaylon Brown has gotten a dose of Dysfunctional Disaster. Sensing disappointment from the fans, Drake hooks the leg of the fallen foe.

1.....2......3!!!

The bell rings thrice and the sound of "Whatever" by Godsmack plays through the venue.

Laura Watts
"Here's your winner and STILL the XWA Intercontinental Champion: Drake Dysfunction!!!!"

Drake Dysfunction has retained his championship, and the fact that he is still the 2x XWA International Championship angers the majority of the Jaylon Brown fans in attendance as boos can be heard. Still, it doesn't stop Drake Dysfunction from relishing in the moment of his victory.

Ted Cedar
"Complete domination by Drake Dysfunction there allowed him to retain his title against Jaylon Brown."

Adam Dennis
"Is anyone gonna dethrone this guy? And if so, who?"
