667000 people signed up for six month subscriptions and an additional 690,000 bought the PPV at full cost. The WWE's revenue for WM29 was about $26.4M whereas WM30 was about $23.3M with an additional $34M in guaranteed money.
You might think the WWE would make that up with difference in PPV buys, but you'd be wrong. WWE's total PPV revenue over those six months was up ~$26M in 2014

Total Revenue was up about $13M through three quarters comparing 13 to 14. Daniel Bryan and The Shield were the biggest factors in that.

Well I don't know about others, but during the WM30 time, I mainly only watched for The Shield, although Bryan was cool too.
