Theme Hospital is available for free from EA Origin.

New and existing EA Origin members can download the medical sim for free as part of the platform's 'On the House' promotion.

Once downloaded, the full game will remain unlocked in a user's library forever.

Developed by Bullfrog, Theme Hospital made its original debut in 1997.

The game tasks players with designing and maintaining a hospital, hiring staff and curing a host of comical diseases.

Previous EA Origin freebies include SimCity 2000, Plants vs Zombies: Game of the Year Edition and Battlefield 3.
