In what could be a sign that WWE plans to bring the PPV back, the company recently filed to trademark the name “Bragging Rights.” The now defunct PPV aired back in 2009 and 2010 and has not been used since.

But then WWE would have to win, otherwise they're basically saying "the students are better than the guys that are meant to be the best at their job."

They had Smackdown win the Bragging Rights match 2 years in a row, when Raw is always supposed to be the superior brand. If they had a WWE vs NXT match, and NXT won, i dont see them trying to push NXT even further as a legit brand anyway.
