Italy, Netherlands and Chile should've definitely been seeded.

What has either team done at the international stage in the last few years to warrant such over Italy, Chile, & the Netherlands? Them niggas haven't been to a WC in ages - they're just fortunate enough to have their golden generation of players. Belgium will probably be an after thought after the 2022 WC, though, after this generation fades out. Colombia always goes into cycles when it comes to producing players.

The Colombians might be nobodies in 2022.

Actually, Belgium is already developing some young players, like Bakkali in PSV, Januazj (hopefully he plays for Belgium), Mertens etc. So I see a bright future for the Belgians. Colombia though, after Falcao and Rodriguez fade out, I don't see much future in them.

But those players are all included in this current generation, & they'll all be in their prime by the time the 2022 cycle hits. The Belgium league is not a strong European league & they're not doing anything particularly special at the youth levels either.

Anyone else find Belgium kinda overrated, though? They're a good team but some people think they're legit contenders to win the WC. I just don't see it considering they're a team w/ no major international tournament experience. I think making it to the round of 16 should be considered an achievement for them.

Belgium are strong but they have no chemistry at all with each other. Yes, they may be strong in every position but they can't play with each other, considering every player seems to be playing in completely different teams with completely different playing styles. They are all still young, too, and they need good time to develop with good management. They may do something good in 2018, but for now, like Drachen said, reaching the knockout stage should be something to be proud of.

This is also another good point. I've seen a lot of this Belgium team & they're not a very cohesive unit. |

Damn, it hasn't even been a full 48 hours after the draw & I already see US pundits giving keys to the game & starting XI's against Ghana.

Klinsmann now contracted thru 2018 as USMNT coach & becomes technical director as well. This nigga ain't never going to leave now. And he want get fired after the WC either, even if the US gets embarrassed in it because the USSF will use "the group of death" as an excuse.

Just read that Chicharito might be head to Inter in exchange for Fredy Guarin. And this would be a good move for Hernandez. I thought Inter was going to be garbage this year, but they've actually been very good.

He sits on the bench all the time. I think it would be a good move for both sides.

Guarin would also be an upgrade at midfield over some of the players Utd are using now, but he can be inconsistent.
