Here's a new take on motion controllers: The 3DRudder, a wobbly board that tracks your feet and translates their motion into actions in games.

The slightly odd controller is making an appearance at this year's CES 2015 in Las Vegas, and our sister site The Verge had the chance to take a look. The 3DRudder, which requires a USB port and driver, takes a few seconds to calibrate the user's feet. After that you can take action in-game.

"Sliding it forward and backwards zooms you in and out, turning rotates you horizontally, and twisting your feet - a motion a little bit like pedaling a bicycle - rotates you up and down; though we didn't get to try it, you can also move from side to side, and you can map custom controls onto the axes," writes The Verge.

The 3DRudder is currently a ways through an Indiegogo campaign with a projected shipping date of May. The device will be priced at $130.
