The Detroit Lions will have Ndamukong Suh on the field for Sunday's Wild Card matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.

Suh won on Tuesday his appeal of the one-game suspension handed down Monday for stepping on Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in Sunday's loss to the Packers. Suh instead receives a $70,000 fine for the incident.

After Suh knocked Rodgers over in the fourth quarter, replays showed Suh taking two steps backward, with both feet landing on the injured area between the star passer's ankle and calf. During his weekly radio appearance on WAUK-AM in Milwaukee, Rodgers made it clear he believed Suh has intentionally attempted to cause further damage to his injured left calf.

"If you step on somebody, the first reaction seems to be apologizing or looking back and I'm not sure that's what happened," Rodgers said.

Suh served a two-game suspension in 2011 after he stomped on the arm of then-Packers offensive lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith. One year later, Suh was fined $30,000 by the NFL for kicking then-Texans quarterback Matt Schaub in the groin. Since 2010, the All-Pro has been fined eight times for player-safety violations, including Tuesday's tax.

Suh is the Lions' best defensive player, and his absence would have left a huge hole in the middle of Detroit's defensive line with rushing champ DeMarco Murray and MVP candidate Tony Romo on deck. Suh -- and the Lions -- should send an oversized novelty thank you card to the league office for its well-timed showing of leniency.

That Dallas O-Line vs. the Lions front will be something to watch.

Nasty? Detroit's D has been shredded all year on the road against good teams lol. For Detroit, the best possible scenario is for a shoot-out...but the offense hasn't been exactly clicking either. I see Dallas winning big.

All I know is that if Detroit wants to beat Dallas they better be ready to put up some points

I actually think this game will be somewhat low scored. Probably under 40 combined points, but I do expect the Cowboys to win by at least a TD.

I never told you that ATL would score a lot of points against Carolina. What I told you was that Atlanta scores points but play no D, which is true.

All i'm saying is that if Murray somehow can't get going, it could get tough for Dallas. There's been a few games where the run hasn't been able to get going and they struggle tremendously.

Idk about you guys, but I just haven't been impressed by Detroit in any of the games I've watched.

Detroit played five playoffs teams in 2014. Four of the games came on the road, where the Lions finished 0-4 and were outscored 102-42. The only playoff team they beat was Green Bay...and that was at home.

Green Bay has one of the best Olines in football & Lacy lit them up. Dallas also has the best offensive lines in football and the league's leading rusher. I don't see Detroit being the team to change that.

If Dallas puts a lot of points on Detroit it will be because Romo plays a great game. Our weakness on defense is using any defensive backs past our nickel package. I don't really see them having the weapons to exploit our weaknesses on D. I'm thinking a game in the 20s is probable.

He's a good player but you need more speed than he has to take advantage of Cassius Vaughn.
