Margot Robbie is set to star in 'The Taliban Shuffle'.
The 'Wolf of Wall Street' actress is in talks about joining forces with Tina Fey for the adaptation of Kim Barker's wartime memoir of the same name, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Should the 24-year-old star sign up to the forthcoming film then Robbie will portray a ''very competitive'' news anchor in Afghanistan who becomes friends with Kim (Fey) and is prepared to take serious risks to launch her career in the war-torn country.
The book tells the story of Kim arriving in Kabul and her trials and tribulations of being a woman in conflict-ridden Iraq and Pakistan.
Robbie will team up once again with directing duo Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who helmed her 2015 thriller 'Focus', which also stars Will Smith, should she sign up for the upcoming project.
Since making a name for herself as Donna Freedman in TV soap 'Neighbours', the Australian stunner went on to achieve worldwide acclaim for her role as Naomi Lapaglia in 2013 movie 'The Wolf of Wall Street' opposite Leonardo DiCaprio.
She recently wrapped filming for 'Focus' and 2016 motion picture 'Tarzan', in which she plays female lead Jane Porter.
