The ring ropes have been taken down and replaced with lengths of razor sharp barbed wire, and the ringside area has been littered with everything from barbed wire baseball bats, to chairs wrapped in barbed wire, to anything else befitting a barbed wire massacre you could think of. While Icon's forehead is already slightly cut open from his entrance, Akira's nose is taped up thanks to the damage taken over his past two matches. Akira Kobayashi and Xtreme Icon are already pacing around the ring when Ryu Sanu calls for the bell, signalling for the start of the match.

Cedar: This is a semi-final match for the King of Xtreme Tournament, and it looks to be a good one!

The two men move towards the centre of the ring and lock up in a collar and elbow tie-up. Xtreme Icon instantly puts all his weight into pushing forward, forcing Akira backwards towards the barbed wire which surrounds them. Akira slips out of the tie-up and gets away from the wire, bouncing backwards across the ring with his hands up in a fighting stance. Icon smirks before once again going for a lock-up, which this time Akira avoids by dropping to one side and throwing a kick into Icon's shin. The strike sends Icon off balance, and quickly Akira pounces by firing a knee up into his ribs and then an elbow into his jaw. Icon stays aware of his surroundings, throwing his hands up to try and avoid strikes while also manoeuvring away from the barbed wire. The crowd is fairly behind Xtreme Icon, chanting his name loudly as the two men face off across the ring. Neither man seems to be in much of a rush, seemingly satisfied with taking it slow early on. Icon gestures for another lock-up, which Akira obliges to. Again Icon attempts to force Akira back into the wire, but The Black Heart Warrior slips to one side, gets behind Icon in a rear waistlock and then rolls backwards, turning Icon over onto his back in a sneaky roll-up pin. Ryu Sanu drops to the canvas and counts to one before Icon kicks out, booting Akira off and flying towards the ropes. At the last second Akira regains his balance, stopping himself from falling face-first into the barbed wire at the last second.

Cedar: Close call there!

Miles: Why did this moron not wear a shirt for this?

Akira turns around directly into a punch across the jaw, making him wobble back as though he's going to fall into the wire. The crowd cheers as Icon unleashes a combo of punches, sending Akira more and more off balance. With Akira on shaky legs Icon takes a few steps back and then runs in looking for a dropkick, which Akira manages to avoid by dropping down to the mat and rolling outside the ring. Portions of the crowd boo and hiss as Akira walks around the ring, rubbing his jaw where Icon landed his punches. Inside the ring Icon sits on the mat less then a foot from the wire, watching Akira intently. Realizing his opponent wants to catch his breath Icon gives chase, rolling out to the floor and grabbing a Singapore cane wrapped in barbed wire from the floor. The Pacific Rim Nigtmare is taken by surprise as Icon charges at him, wielding the cane in both hands like a broadsword with a savage look in his eyes. Icon's swing is wild and clearly telegraphed, giving Akira ample time to duck underneath and then turn to throw a rolling elbow. The point of Akira's elbow jams into Icon's eye, knocking him down to his hands and knees as he drops the cane. As Icon clutches his head and tries to get up Akira kicks the cane away to the floor, drawing loud boos from the XWA crowd. Akira walks over to Icon and slaps him across the face mockingly before pulling him up. Icon shows that he's not intimidated by throwing a slap back; a move that serves to piss off Akira and give him cause to unleash a flurry of forearms that push Icon back into the crowd barricade. With Icon leaned against the barricade Akira throws a kick towards his opponents midsection, nailing him directly in the gut and doubling The One Man Montana Militia over.

Cedar: This may be the one match where Akira Kobayashi will try to keep his opponent out of the ring. The Black Heart Warrior isn't exactly the hardcore wrestler that Xtreme Icon is.

Akira continues his assault by grabbing Icon by the back of the head, keeping him bent over, and repeatedly kicking upward into his forehead with the laces of his boots, further opening up Icon's self inflicted forehead wound. Akira pushes Icon away, clearly expecting him to fall down to the floor, but instead the 2011 King of Xtreme just stumbles away a few paces and then rushes back with a a big roundhouse kick that drops Akira like a sack of shit. With his opponent down on the mat Icon goes back to the weapons, this time grabbing a barbedwire chair. He holds it up to the crowd, who cheer and holler for him to hit Akira with it. Realizing what's going on Akira pulls himself up to his feet and slides into the ring in an escape attempt. Icon follows, still clutching the chair, but the second it takes him to follow Akira gives The Last Warlord of Osaka time to get up and throw a penalty kick directly into the jaw of Icon, who responds like any man would and rolls across the mat clutching his face. Ignoring the barbed wire chair now laid on the mat Akira walks after Icon, at this point having made it clear what his game plan is. Again Icon tries to get up, and again Akira doesn't let him. The second kick hits Icon in the side of the head, pushing him just inches away from the sharp barbed wire. The crowd boo Akira, who pays them no mind and instead continues to stalk his opponent. Icon gets to his knees, and this time he anticipates what's going to happen. Akira fires off a penalty kick, but Icon throws up his hands and grabs Akira's boot. Icon tosses Akira's boot down, kicks him in the gut to bend him over, and then grabs him around the waist. Icon pulls Akira up into position for a powerbomb, causing the crowd to explode in cheers as Akira desperately tries to throw palm strikes down at Icon's already bloody forehead to break the move. Instead of simply slamming Akira down onto the canvas Xtreme Icon lives up to his name by turning and powerbombing Akira into the barbedwire running along the length of thd ring, driving the sharp metal into the exposed flesh of Akira's back. Icon steps backwards and raises an arm in celebration as Akira writhes and yells whilst draped over the barbed wire.

Cedar: AKIRA KOBAYASHI'S BACK MAY HAVE JUST BEEN SHREDDED TO PIECES BY THAT POWERBOMB!

After taking a few seconds to admire his handiwork Icon moves in close to Akira and grabs him by the arm, allowing him to violently tear him out of the wire. Not content yet with the damage done Icon pushes Akira back into the wire, creating a whole new set of cuts and scrapes across Akira's back. Akira instinctively pulls himself right out of the wire, further ripping his back open, and stumbles forward directly into the business end of Icon's superman punch - also known as Straight Outta the 406! Akira slumps down like a ragdoll, throwing his arms up as he goes down. Icon quickly drops down to make the cover, getting a two count before Akira can kick-out. Icon doesn't appear too phased by Akira kicking out, knowing that it's still early goings in the match. Icon wastes no time in getting up and making his way over to the barbed wire wrapped steel chair, which is still laid on the mat in the centre of the ring. Again the crowd cheers as Icon introduces more barbed wire into the mat. Just as Akira did to him Icon stalks his opponent, with his weapon of choice being a chair instead of his foot. Akira reaches his knees, at which point Icon slams the chair down across his back with as much force as he can muster. Akira roars out in pain but refuses to go down, prompting Icon to take another swing at him. This one sends Akira tumbling flat onto his face, blood now dripping out of his back like a scene from a snuff film. Icon places the chair down across Akira's back, ensuring it's laid so that the barbs will create new wounds when pressed down, and then drops a spinning leg drop across the weapon. The barbs catch on Icon's pants but cause nowhere near as much damage as they do to Akira, who once again is forced to experience razor sharp barbs being impaled through his flesh.

Cedar: This is Akira Kobayashi's first barbed wire match in XWA, and you can call this a baptism by fire any day of the week!

Icon kicks the chair off of Akira and then rolls him over, again going for the pin. For a second time Akira kicks out at two, but this time it clearly takes far more effort. Icon drags Akira up to his feet by the underside of his jaw and then pulls his opponents head in under his arm, looking for a vertical suplex. Icon lifts Akira up into the air, but before he can fall down to his back and finish off the move Akira manages to struggle free and land on his feet behind Icon. With his opponents back turned Akira jumps up, dropkicking him directly in the back of his head and sending Icon falling down onto all fours. As soon as Icon straightens up to try and stand Akira rushes in behind him and locks in a sleeper hold. Akira's arm crushes down on Icon's throat as The Black Heart Warrior digs his feet into the blood soaked canvas as pulls back. Icon starts trying to struggle away at first, clawing across the mat, but soon finds Akira pushing him forward, eventually turning the sleeper into almost a rear naked choke of sorts. Realizing he's going to need to try something different Icon pushes his open palms into the mat and pushes himself up, lifting Akira up into a piggy back position as he gets to his feet by wrapping his arms around Akira's legs. As his eyes start to water and blood pours down his face Icon runs towards the chair wrapped in barbed wire, jumps up, and leans back. Coming down like an anvil, Icon crushes Akira between the chair and himself, once again cutting his back to ribbons. Akira groans out as his leg stutters and jerks, and eventually his grip loosens. Panting and gasping, Xtreme Icon rolls off of Akira. He quickly checks to ensure that Akira is still writhing in pain on the chair before continuing to roll, ending up on the ring apron. The crowd starts an "Xtreme Icon" chant as the 2011 KoX tournament winner grabs a board with coils of barbedwire attached to it and tosses it into the ring.

Cedar: This man is deranged!

Grinning like the madman he is Icon slides into the ring, spying Akira starting to get up. Icon runs in at Akira and grabs him around the waist, pushing his own black shirt into the crimson mess that is Akira's back. Icon backs up, eventually getting close enough that the barbedwire board is directly behind him. Icon starts to leans back for a German suplex, but Akira Kobayashi quickly counters by stomping down on Icon's feet. The sneaky attack is enough to get Icon to release his grip, and wasting no time Akira turns and throws a leaping enziguri that hits home on the back of Icon's head. The sharp blow to the back of his head drops Icon onto one knee, giving Akira time to get back to his feet and grab Icon by his shirt to pull him up to his feet. With Icon in his grasp Akira slams in elbow into the side of his opponents head and then turns him around, putting Akira's back to the barbed wire board about three paces away. After a second elbow Akira turns Icon slightly, allowing him to duck down under his shoulder. Akira reaches behind Icon with his left hand and forces Icon's arm down with his right, allowing him to apply a wrist-clutch between Icon's legs. With Icon tightly grappled Akira hoists him up and falls back, flipping Icon over headfirst into the barbed wire board with a vicious wrist clutch exploder suplex! Icon's screams out in pain as the barbs slice through flesh like butter, shredding Icon's t-shirt into pieces as the sharp metal digs into Icon's head, neck, and back.

Miles: He's been turned into a fucking pin cushion!

Cedar: XWA's toughest hall of famer just got a taste of his own medicine!

Akira smiles as he pulls himself up to his feet, looking down at the crumpled mess of blood and flesh that is Xtreme Icon, spread eagle over the barbed wire board. Wasting no time on following up Akira leaps into the air and comes down with a double stomp directly into the side of Icon's head, sending his skull bouncing up and down like a bobble head. The fans boo as Akira grabs Icon by the arms and pull him off of the barbed wire onto the mat, allowing Akira to make the cover. At the count of two Icon kicks a leg up, getting a shoulder away from the mat, to the delight of the fans. Showing some slight frustration Akira grabs his opponent by the hair, pulling him up off the mat to his knees so that Akira can throw an unmerciful kick into the side of his head. Icon slumps down to all fours, spitting some blood from his mouth courtesy of Akira's kicks and stomps. Again Akira covers, but again he only gets a two count. The crowd once again roars as Icon denies Akira a victory, despite the repeated shots to his skull. Akira yanks Icon up to his feet again, forcing him to stand despite Icon's legs being wobbly and his head being limp. Akira slaps Icon across the face, spraying out some blood from the gaping gash just below his hair line. Akira grabs Icon and drags him towards the corner, tossing him into the barely padded ring post with such force his arm flails into the barbed wire, slicing it open. With his opponent defenceless and lent in the corner Akira charges in and throws a boot at waist height, cracking into the side of Icon's head with the impact of a sawn-off shotgun and sending his face into the hung up barbed wire!

Cedar: GOOD GOD!

Miles: He was already an ugly bastard, and this ain't helping!

Akira steps back and wipes his boot on the mat, cleaning some of Icon's blood off of the sole of his shoe onto the mat. Icon grunts as he pulls himself out of the wire, cutting through part of his cheek and further opening the cut on his arm. Icon staggers out of the corner, taunting Akira in incomprehensible yells through a mouthful of blood. Akira's eyes widen as Icon smirks before cracking his knuckles. Icon throws a punch into Akira face to back him up and then unleashes a superkick up into his jaw, dropping him backwards onto the canvas as his black mouth guard flies out. Icon kicks away Akira's mouthguard to the floor before he leans down and grabs Akira by the hair, yanking him up to his feet and then jamming his bicep into his opponents throat with a European uppercut! Akira stumbles, giving Icon the chance to hoist him up and drop him down onto his already damaged back with a samoan drop. Icon jumps onto Akira and hooks his leg, getting a two count before Akira can kick out. Icon crawls over to the barbed wire chair, again going towards his hardcore tendencies. Icon grabs the chair and slams it into the mat, calling for Akira to stand up. Akira gets to his feet and staggers around directly into a shot to the abdomen from the barbed wire chair. Akira falls backwards to one knee, heading towards the ropes. Icon steps up and lands a second shot, making Akira stumble back to the point his back is almost touching the wire. For a third time Icon steps up and swings at Akira's head, which he narrowly misses when Akira drops down to his hands and knees. Akira rolls around and gets to his feet, putting Icon between himself and the ropes. Icon turns with the chair down, leaving himself open to a headbutt directly into his split open forehead. Icon falls backwards completely limp, landing in the barbed wire back first.

Cedar: For crying out loud this is inhuman!

Icon tries to get himself upright, but as he starts to get untangled from the wire he catches a kick upwards into his forehead that again makes him fall down to his hands and knees. Icon leans to his side, falling down into the canvas as his shirt comes off of his back in a pool of blood. Akira stamps down on Icon's head a few times, shocking the audience into silence as Icon rolls out of the ring to the floor in a complete daze. Icon stumbles towards the crowd barricade, falling into it as in the front row fans try to get a good luck at Icon's forehead wound. Like The Terminator Akira calms rolls out of the ring, leaving a smudge of blood on the canvas as he rolls across it. Akira walks over to the barricade and slams an open palm down into Icon's jaw. Icon's lip splits open, giving Akira good cause to carry on throwing open palms into Icon's mouth until Icon is collapsed on the ground. The crowd continues to just mumble as Akira grabs Icon and yanks him over towards the ring, continuing his assault on the 2011 King of Xtreme. Once in the ring Akira pulls Icon up to his feet and then leans over, shoving his shoulder into Icon's gut while wrapping his arms around his waist. Akira lifts Icon up and bridges over into a Northern lights suplex, ending in a pinning position as Icon slams into the mat. Ryu Sanu and slams his gloved hand into the blood soaked mat twice before Icon manages to get a shoulder up! Akira instantly sits up and roars, slamming his fists down into the mat like an angry child due to his opponent refusing to lose. The crowd's awkward hush is replaced with loud "XTREME ICON" chants, as the fan favourite rolls onto all fours and then pulls himself up.

Cedar: The Xtreme Icon ain't staying down!

Akira jumps to his feet as he sees Icon pull himself up and throws a clothesline, clearly out of desperation thanks to the blood soaked hardcore legend staring him down. Icon ducks the clothesline, turns, and boots Akira in the gut to double him over. With The Pacific Rim Nightmare staggered Icon grabs him around the head and leaps up, swinging his legs around and spiking Akira back down onto his head with a tornado DDT! Akira's legs kick up straight before his body falls over, leaving him on his back staring up at the arena lights. Icon fives forward, putting himself on top of Akira to make the cover. Again Icon only gets a two count, but just getting offence in and showing he's not out of it is enough to get the crowd going wild for him. Icon wipes some of the blood from his head off onto his hand and then leans over Akira, wiping the gore away onto his opponents stomach in the shape of a cross. Icon rolls out of the ring and looks around, quickly spotting the barbed wire coated Singapore cane Akira kicked out to the floor earlier. Icon grabs the cane and then slides back into the ring as Akira starts to stagger back up to his feet, clutching his skull. Icon yells at Akira to turn around, which the Japanese warrior does thanks to having so recently been spiked on his skull. Icon yells out "fuck you!" as he swings the cane, hitting the target he made earlier perfectly! Akira screams as he grabs his abs, doing nothing to prevent Icon nailing him on the shoulder with the cane. Akira crumples down to the floor, and naturally Xtreme Icon responds by continuing to cane him across his sliced open back. Large wet welts form on Akira's back as the wire carves him to pieces, letting blood spray out. The rabid fans cheer on Icon as he rolls over Akira with his boot, allowing him to look down at his opponents face. Icon paces around Akira's prone body with his cane held high, drawing more and more cheers until he brings it down across Akira's arms and chest with a powerful stroke. Akira writhes and screams as Icon showboats some more, showing the bloody cane to the crowd before setting a baseball players stance.

Cedar: Batter up!

Akira rolls up to one knee as Icon stomps the mat, smirking as the match starts to go back into his favour. Icon steps up and swings, cracking Akira across the skull with such force that the cane snaps in half. Akira slumps back onto the mat, prompting Icon to discard the cane and then fall to his knees to cover Akira. For what seems like the hundredth time Ryu Sanu only counts to two before the kick-out, to a chorus of "ooo"'s. Icon starts to show some frustration as he walks over to the barbed wire board and drags it to the centre of the ring, gritting his teeth as blood flows down into his mouth. Icon walks back over to Akira and yanks him up by the throat, dragging him to the board and hooking him up in position for a belly to belly suplex directly onto the barbed wire board. Before Icon can drop back to suplex Akira The Black Heart Warrior slams his arms down elbow first, cracking his elbows into his opponents arms and breaking his grip. Akira throws alternating left and right elbows into the sides of Icon's head, spraying blood out and dazing him to the point it looks like Icon will simply collapse back into the wire. Akira backs up and picks his stop, planting his feet before going for a high round house kick that Xtreme Icon barely ducks under and side steps away from. With a loud grunt Icon steps up and drives a knee up into Akira's gut, crushing the wind out of him and giving the Montana native the chance to hook both his arms in position for a double underhook facebuster, directly onto the barbedwire board! Icon starts to lift, but Akira manages to block it by bending his knees and yanking his arms down, freeing himself with his head still down. Akira runs forward, shoving Xtreme Icon into the barbed wire running along where the ropes would be and then pulling him out. Akira spins Icon around and then ducks down, tucking his head in position for the backdrop driver. Akira backs up while holding Icon's waist and then lifts him up while bridging back, planting Icon head first into the barbed wire board with the force of a jackhammer.

Cedar: BACKDROP DRIVER INTO THE BARBED WIRE! BACKDROP DRIVER INTO THE BARBED WIRE!

Icon's body folds like a piece of paper into the wire as he rolls over onto the mat, his spine having been compressed down in a sickening fashion. Icon lies prone with his arms out as Akira crawls over, grabbing his legs and hooking them up for a pin. One, two, thr-KICKOUT! The arena explodes when Xtreme Icon once again stays alive, cheering so loud that Miles Cedar can barely be heard calling the kick-out on commentary. Akira pounds his fists down into the mat as Icon rolls over onto his front and clutches his head. After a few seconds of laying prone on the mat Icon starts rolling away, allowing him to exit the ring and collapse on the floor as Akira stays sit in the centre of the ring grinding his teeth and yelling at Ryu Sanu in Japanese. Xtreme Icon crawls over to the crowd barricade and grabs a fan in the front row by his shirt, pulling him slightly over so that Icon can clean some of the blood off of his face with the fans t-shirt. Akira starts to make his way out of the ring as Icon gets up to his feet and raises his arm up, drawing in the crowd who again start chanting his name like an angry mob. Akira rolls out of the ring and goes for an open palm slap on Icon, who ducks under Akira's slap and counters with a forearm to the nose. With the bandages having already been ripped off Akira's nose spurts out blood with every shot Icon lands. The 2011 King of Xtreme channels the crowd's energy and his own adrenaline into a volley of forearms to Akira's jaw that push him back into the ring apron, at which point Icon grabs the barbed wire going from turnbuckle to turnbuckle and yanks it down to rake it across Akira's forehead! Akira screams out in pain and scrambles away, kicking Icon in the gut as he crawls back into the ring nursing a carved up forehead. With Akira screaming in pain Icon ducks under the ring apron and starts rooting around, eventually pulling out a thick spool of barbed wire!

Miles: Just what this match needs, more barbed wire!

Cedar: Most men wouldn't even be walking out of the arena after a backdrop driver onto barbed wire, but Xtreme Icon's coming back for more! After the kicks, the suplexes, and now this, how is Xtreme Icon still on his feet?!

Icon slides back into the ring and wastes to time slamming the roll of wire down into Akira's shoulder as the Osaka native crawls on his hands and knees, dragging it down to further rip open the gushing wounds that adorn his back. Akira falls onto one side, giving Xtreme Icon the chance to drop the wire down onto his face and then lay a stomp on top of it. Icon quickly drops down and covers Akira, getting a short two count before Akira can kick free and get a shoulder up. Icon grabs the the spool of wire from off of Akira and drags it across the ring, looking around for inspiration. After a second or two Icon spots the barbed wire board still in the ring, and a sick smiles spreads across his lips. Icon tosses the wire towards the corner and then grabs the barbed wire board, carrying it over to the same corner. Flipping the board so it's face down Icon puts it on top of the ring post, essentially creating a launch platform he can jump from in lieu of a turnbuckle. With the board firmly in place Icon stumbles back over towards Akira, spitting a mouthful of blood out as he does. Akira gets up to one knee just before Icon gets to him, slapping his hands down on Akira's back hard enough to make Akira scream out in pain as he finds himself being dragged up to his feet. Icon yanks Akira over to in front of the ring post with the board set-up on it and grabs him by the throat, clenching down on Akira's wind pipe with a vice grip before hoisting him up and slamming him back down with a chokeslam. Akira's body bounces off of the mat as again his back suffers the brunt of the punishment. Icon grabs the barbed wire coils from the canvas and stands over the prone Akira, looking down at this opponent to check he's out before using his foot to roll Akira onto his front, presenting his chewed up back to the crowd. Icon makes his way over to the corner, rolling down under the wire and onto the apron with the barbed wire still in his hands. With the barbs pricking down into his fingers Icon ascends the corner and perches himself up on the clear side of the board, looking down at Akira. Icon grabs the wire in both hands, pulls it apart, and starts wrapping it around his body. He hooks it down over his shoulders, around his waist, across his chest, and pretty much any which way he can.

Cedar: Only The Xtreme Icon would even consider doing something this insane!

Now wrapped up in wire Icon stands up straight, causing the crowd to erupt as they realize what's coming. Icon leaps from his platform and flips forward, going for a swanton bomb down onto Akira's back while wrapped in the razor sharp barbed wire! As Icon soars through the air Akira rolls out of the way, using the last of his energy to get to the corner as Icon slams down into the mat. The crowd deflates as Icon starts screaming out in pain, holding his back as the barbs dig through his flesh. With fire in his eyes Akira pulls himself up and grabs the barbed wire board off of the turnbuckle, holding it so that the wire is facing away from him. As Icon tugs on the wire now tightly coating his body from a seated position Akira charges in and slams the board down onto him, driving more barbs through his flesh while also entangling the wire from the board with the wire wrapped around Icon. Referee Ryu Sanu steps in to try and help free Icon, but receives a shove to the chest from the Black heart Warrior, who follows up on his attack by dropping to his knees continuing to push the board down into Icon with both hands. With the wire tearing into him Icon starts to thrash out and try crawling away, ripping most of the wire off of the board as he goes. Akira gets back to his feet as he watches Icon crawl on his hands and knees, lengths of wire wrapping around his entire body including a strand that runs around his forehead with two barbs jabbing right into the same wound that has been coursing blood since Icon opened it up with a beer can during his entrance. The crowd's reaction is near silent as they are forced to watch Icon drag himself across the canvas, panting and moaning while Akira walks around to one side while limbering up his leg.

Cedar: Xtreme Icon's trapped in that wire! He's defenceless! The man can barely move, let alone wrestle!

After stretching out his leg Akira lines up, charges in, and drives a penalty kick into Icon's face. Blood sprays out as the wire strands are ripped up along Icon's forehead and he collapses to the mat. Not content with his opponent still being conscious Akira grabs Icon by the hair and drags him up onto his knees, putting him in prime position for Akira to tee off. Akira holds Icon's head in place with one hands as he backs up a bit, picking his spot. A few boos trickle in as it begins to seem like Icon's comeback has been cut-off, and that sentiment is given some credence when Akira lets go of Icon's head and throws a second penalty kick into his head. The force of the kick drops Icon down onto his back, and at this point the feeling in the stands is that the 2011 King of Xtreme's chances of regaining that title are all but nil. Akira takes a few steps back and then runs in, leaping into the air and then crashing down again with a double stomp into Icon's head. Icon goes completely limp as Akira drops down to his knees and, mercifully, goes for the cover, using a lateral press with both hands tactically places to avoid having to touch any more barbed wire. One...two...

Miles: And this one is o-

Thr-KICKOUT! The crowd all but blows the roof off of the Rose Garden as Xtreme Icon somehow throws an arm up, staying alive despite the insane amount of abuse he's suffered through.

Cedar: HOW? HOW IN THE HELL IS XTREME ICON STILL IN THIS MATCH?

Akira screams out in anger, clenching his teeth while pounding his fists into the mat. Icon barely moves, like even he hasn't realized that he managed to kick out. Akira gets back up to his feet and screams at Icon in both English and Japanese, begging him to get back up. Icon takes a few seconds but he eventually obliges, pushing himself up to his feet as he manages to yanks some of the wire off of himself. Akira instantly charges in, leaping up and nailing Icon with a flying boot to the jaw that drops him back to the mat like it was nothing. Akira dives onto Icon, hooking both legs, but again only gets a two count! This time Akira doesn't wait for Icon to get up, choosing to grab a hold of one of the few strands of barbed wire still embedded into Icon's pants and using it to pull his opponent up to his feet. Akira grabs a hold of Icon, hooking his head down while hoisting his arm up over his shoulder. With a loud grunt Akira hoists Icon up into the air looking for a brainbuster, but Icon somehow manages to kick free and land behind Akira. Instantly he throws his arms around Akira's throat and under his arm, trying to cinch in the tazmission! Icon manages to lock his arms in place, but before he can latch on the body scissors Akira pushes backwards as hard as he can and leaps back, throwing all his weight into Icon and throwing him back into the barbed wire running along where the ropes would be!

Cedar: Akira Kobayashi was in trouble there - we've seen tougher guys gets choked out by that move!

On impact with the wire Icon releases the hold, allowing Akira to pull himself away from his opponent and, conversely, the wire he is now tangled up in. Akira pivots around and throws an elbow up, planting it into the side of Icon's head. Now practically frothing from the mouth in rage at Icon's refusal to just lose Akira grabs his opponent and pulls him out of the wire by the scruff of the neck, tossing him down to his hands and knees in the style of an executioner preparing to carry out a sentence. Akira walks across the ring and grabs a hold of the barbed wire wrapped chair, which is still dripping in his blood. Slamming the chair down in front of Icon, Akira storms behind his opponent and pushes his boot into the back of his head lightly, forcing Icon to lean forward until his head is hovering over the chair. Akira backs up a few steps and then runs in, leaps into the air, and curb stomps Icon's head straight down into the chair. As his lips and nose get serrated by the wire Icon's forehead cracks off of the metal, knocking him clean out on impact. A trickle of red runs down towards the mat as Akira rolls over Xtreme Icon and hooks a leg up for the cover. Ryu Sanu drops down and counts the cover, and although he manages to flail his free leg up into the air at the count of three, this time Xtreme Icon is unable to kick-out!

DING-DING-DING!

Akira Kobayashi rolls off of Xtreme Icon as a parade line worth of medical officials make their way down the ramp to tend to both men. Unable to take in that he's finally won, Akira collapses down onto his back next to Icon as we head to commercial.
