DING DING DING

Hitman Alex, who is competing against Dante Cross in his return match from a small injury, steps out of his corner to step closer towards the center as the referee comes out from the center to give the competitors some space. Dante Cross and Hitman Alex are known for their huge long friendship behind the scenes, so for them to compete against one another is a true dream match for the fans in San Diego, California. Dante Cross also comes out of his corner to walk closer to Alex, as both men are nearly inches away from each other as they are standing toe-to-toe. Alex looks to his left, starring at the fans standing up cheering for the match to get started, as Dante looks to his left and see fans cheering on his point of view as well. Both Alex and Dante look back at each other, as Alex looks focused and ready. Alex looks down at his own hand, as he extends his right hand out for sportsmanship, as Dante looks down at Alex's hand as well. Alex looks up at Dante to see what Dante is going to do, and the fans are wanting to see these two guys shake hands before the began their bout. Dante looks back up into the eyes of the three time World Heavyweight Champion, before looking back down at his hand offering, before extending his hand out and accepting the handshake. Both men have shaken hands, as Alex smirks, as it doesn't last long as Cross lets go of Hitman's hand, and with the other hand he connects with a hook to the face of Mr. COA. Alex takes a step back as the crowd begins booing for The Son Sin. Dante connects with another hook, and another, and another, as Alex continues to take steps back after every hit, right before leaning against the ropes. Dante turns around, as he runs towards the ropes right behind him, and bounces off to return straight to Alex to connect with a Clothesline, extending his arm and sending Alex over the top ropes. Hitman goes over the top rope and bounces off the apron as he finally lands on the floor outside the ring. The referee tries to tell Dante, not to go outside, but Dante knows that this match is under Hardcore Rules so he doesn't really care for the rules, as there are barely any. Dante scares the referee out the way by acting as if he was gonna strike the ref, but he doesn't, as the referee moves out of the way, and Dante manages to drop to the mat and slide out through under the bottom rope.

Ted Cedar: Dante showing his true colors out here in this early going

Joey Miles: No...no...no..and no, Ted. You're fucking wrong. Dante is obviously jealous of the career that Alex has made here in XWA while Dante was making himself look good over ZGA. Remind me where ZGA is at again? Oh that's right, It's gone. Done. Finito. Out of fuckin business. What a piece of shit that organization was.

Alex is on his knees crawling away from Dante, towards the entrance ramp, as Dante is just behind him walking towards him. Dante stomps on Alex's back, making him drop to the floor again from being on all fours. Dante bends down to grab Alex by his head, and picks him back up, only to Irish Whip him towards the ring from the bottom of the entrance ramp. Alex runs towards the ring, but instead jumps up and over the apron, and slides under the bottom ropes to get back inside the ring. Dante quickly follows as he does the exact same thing, right after Alex, as Alex is inside the ring running to the opposite ropes. Alex bounces off the ropes as Dante is now back in the ring, and Dante runs towards Alex, as both men are running towards each other. Alex goes for a clothesline, but Dante ducks it as he continues running towards the rope. Dante bounces and returns to Alex, who bends down and tries to go for a Back Body Drop, but Dante goes over Alex and lands right on his feet. The crowd is amazed, as Dante turns back around to face Alex, as Alex is one step ahead as he jumps in the air and goes for a dropkick, but Dante knowing Alex's moveset, ducks it, and Alex misses. As soon as Alex realizes he had missed, he gets back up, but Dante's the one going for the dropkick this time, as he jumps and extends his feet, but Alex quickly ducking out of the way, making Dante miss just like his opponent. Dante gets back up, and Alex goes for a kick to the stomach, and then follows that up by putting Dante into a Suplex position. Alex lifts Dante up in the air, but Cross manages to turn himself around in a 360 angle and land right on his feet behind Mr. COE. Dante, standing behind Alex now, pushes Alex towards the ropes. Hitman bounces off the ropes and returns back to Dante, who swings for a punch, but Alex ducks it and manages to get behind Dante. Dante realizes he misses, so he quickly turns around to face Alex, who swings a punch of his own, but Dante quickly ducks that too, and gets behind Alex. Both men turn around to face each other once again, as every move they have reversed and blocked, and they both put up a fighting stance, as the crowd cheers for both of these competitors. Alex and Dante begin to circle the ring as they are thinking of what move to do next, as the crowd see that these two know each other's moveset.

Ted Cedar: Both men knowing each other very well

Joey Miles: Almost too well, it seems.

The crowd begin chanting "THIS IS AWESOME" repeatedly as more of the fans begin to join in and the chant gets louder and louder, as both men continue to circle the ring. Finally, Alex and Dante step up and they both go for a shoulder lock-up. Both men locking up, as Alex lets go of Dante's shoulders and begin to go for a headlock, as Dante quickly runs towards the rope, bringing along Alex who has his arms wrapped around Dante's head. Dante makes Alex bounce off the rope as he throws him towards the opposite ropes. Alex bounces from the opposite ropes to return to Dante who connects with a Spinning Heel Kick, knocking Alex senseless right on the mat. Dante stands on his knees, looking right at Alex, smiling, as he gets back up to walk towards Hitman. Cross begins to stomp on Mr. COA's chest, stomping away, as the referee is trying to make Dante Stop, but Dante keeps going and doesn't listen. Dante stomps on Alex so many times to the point where it looks like Alex almost went through the ring. Dante stops stomping on Alex's chest. Dante bends down to pick Alex back up and Irish Whip him towards the turnbuckle near the announce table, as Alex hits his back as he connects with the corner. Dante runs towards Alex, but right at the last second, whatever move Dante was trying to go for, Alex counters it by throwing Dante over his shoulders and over the top rope as well towards the outside, but instead Dante lands on the apron. Alex quickly realizing that Dante is still up, just on the apron, Alex runs to the ropes and returns towards Dante, and being a few feet away from Dante, Alex jumps as high as he can to go connect with a Leg Lariat jumping over the top ropes, and right onto Dante. The back of Dante's head hits the ground really hard as the referee slides out of the ring to check on Dante. Alex lands right on his bottom, which kinda hurts him in the early going as well. Meanwhile both competitors are down for now, the crowd begins to chant "HOLY SHIT" repeatedly, follow by thundering claps.

Ted Cedar: What a move by the former World Champion!

Joey Miles: An amazing fuckin' move, Ted, for sure, but it's one of those moves where both men were hurt, not just the person who was being targeted.

A highlight begins to play in the bottom right side of the titantron and television screen for the fans watching at home, as it fades away and it shows Alex standing back up. Showing the highlight replay, gave time for Alex to get back up and continue the match with Dante. Alex bends down to pick Dante up and he quickly wastes no time to use everything around him. Alex throws Dante's head towards the announce table, as Dante falls on one knee, and begins leaning towards the table. Alex picks him back up and slams his head against the announce table once again, and again, and the third time Alex turns around and throws his head against the apron, knocking him down on both of his knees that time. Alex picks Dante back up and Irish Whips him towards the steel steps near the announce table, but as Dante gets closer, he jumps up and stands right on top of them. Alex quickly runs towards him, but Dante jumps backwards and connects with a Standing Moonsault, landing right on Alex. Both men are down once again, as Dante takes this moment to heal up. The referee begins to check on Alex, as Dante landed on him kinda too hard, meanwhile Dante is sitting back up now. The son of sin begins to fully get back up as he ignores Alex, and opens up the apron/ring covers to look for weapons under the table. Dante pulls out a table, as he sets it on top of the apron, and then pushes it right in. Cross turns around and sees Alex, who's still down, and begins to bend down to pick him back up. Dante Irish Whips Alex towards the steel steps, as the steps move out of position. The son of sin turns his attention away from Alex as he begins to walk down and around the ring, as he goes to lift the apron covers up from a different side of the ring. Dante reveals to pull out a 20 ft ladder, as the crowd begins to get wild and cheer for the amount of weapons Dante is pulling out for this hardcore match.

Ted Cedar: I don't think Dante can wait to use any of these weapons

Joey Miles: Is not that, is just the fact that Dante wants to use every weapon to put the former Champ down, and of course it's a smart idea. At least he knows what it takes to knock down the champ out for a while.

Dante sets up the ladder right between the apron and the wall barricade, as if it was being set up like a table would. Dante turns around and begins walking back towards Alex, who is trying to get back up using the apron. Dante quickly hurries towards Alex, as he hits him with a kick to the back of the legs, to keep Alex down, as Dante has a plan in his head. Dante picks Alex back up and sends him back in the ring, rolling under the bottom ropes. Dante begins to grab onto the bottom ropes to get up onto the apron, but Alex quickly rolls back in the ring and slides back up. Hitman quickly sees Dante is standing on the apron so he quickly jumps in the air and connects with an Enzuiguri Kick, striking Dante across the face, almost making him fall off the apron, but Alex quickly jumps back to his feet to catch him by his head. Alex pulls Dante back in through the second ropes, as it seems like Alex is going for his usual move, the Rope-Hung DDT, as Alex eyes start to open up bigger and wider. The former World Champion has Dante hanging off his feet, as Alex comes down and connects, making Dante connect face-first against the canvas. Alex quickly turns Dante around and begins to cover him, trying to end the match quickly as possible. The referee slides to the fall and begins to count. "One"..."Two"...but Dante slides his arm up, getting his shoulder off the mat, and breaking up the cover. Alex doesn't get too mad, as he quickly gets back up and walks towards the table that Dante brought inside the ring. Alex begins to pick it up as he sets it up near the center of the ring. The crowd gets hyped up as they see one their favorite superstars return and get hardcore already. Alex turns back towards Dante, as he picks him back up. Mr. COA sets him up in a Suplex position, as the crowd gets louder with their cheers. Alex lifts Dante, but as Dante gets lifted, he quickly starts shaking his feet to put extra weight on Alex, which makes Alex set Dante back down on his feet. Dante quickly kicks Alex in the mid-section, and then set him in-between his legs. Dante backs up a little bit away from the table as he sets Alex under his legs. Dante lifts Alex up in a powerbomb position and starts running to the table to throw Alex into, but as soon as he throws Alex, Alex manages to jump over the table and land directly on his feet on the opposite side of the table, which gives him a loud pop from the crowd. Dante is shocked, but quickly runs towards the ropes behind him, bounces off, and jumps over the table, and whatever move that he was going to do was quickly caught in mid-air by Alex. Alex catches Dante's modified version of a jumping clothesline, as Alex counters by wrapping his arm across Dante's chest and connecting with his secondary finisher, Snake Bite (Rock Bottom), right through the table. Both men go through the table, but Dante's the one who got hurt the most. Both men are down, and neither men are covering each other, the referee begins removing the table pieces off the ring. By the time the referee is done with that, he returns to Alex with his arm across Dante's chest going for a cover, as the referee slides and begins to count. "One"......"Two"........."Thre-" but Dante kicks out right at the last second.

Ted Cedar: WOOOOOOOW!!!! Dante Cross has kicked out of a Snake Bite?!?!?! What an incredible match we're having here folks between these two talented men

Joey Miles: HOLY SHIT! HOW WASN'T THAT A 3?!!! HOLY SHIT!!

The crowd are shocked as they chant "3", thinking it was it, but they are totally shocked, which is a good thing. Alex rolls away from Dante as the expression on his face shows that he's shocked, as his eyes are closed and he is slapping the mat. It seems like both of these men know each other enough to know how much to expect from one another. Alex begins to get back up as Dante turns from being on his stomach, to laying on his back. The crowd are cheering for Alex as he is finally back up, but instead of walking towards Dante, he drops to the canvas and slide under the bottom ropes to the outside. Alex opens up the apron covers and he begins to look for weapons under the ring. Alex pulls out a Barbed Wired Baseball Bat as the crowd gets hype, but instead of going inside with it, he just throws it inside the ring, and begins to look for more weapons. The second time Alex pulls out a bag, and the crowd cheers as they have an idea of what it could be. Alex puts the apron covers down, as he rolls back inside the ring with the bag, meanwhile Dante was getting back up on all fours. Alex stands back up, and doesn't notice Dante on all fours, but as soon as he looks at Dante, Dante jumps back up and runs towards Alex and connects with a Big Boot. Alex falls down to the ground, and drops the bag on the mat. Dante quickly picks Alex back up and sets him in the corner real quick and starts connecting with Roundhouse kicks straight to the skull, trying to wear him out as much as he can. After a few several roundhouse kicks, Dante stops and turns around and sees the two weapons that Alex brought back inside the ring. Dante sees the bag and the barbed wired weapon, and he goes for the Barbed Wired Weapon. Dante picks it up gently, but he looks back at Alex, and he quickly runs towards him with the weapon, and he swings it, but Alex quickly ducks and moves out of the way. Dante turns around and runs towards Alex once again, swinging the weapon, but Alex ducks it and goes behind Dante. Dante quickly turns around and sees Alex right in front of him, as Alex jumps and connects with a Pele Kick. Dante drops the weapon, as Alex's foot connects across his face, Alex quickly grabs Dante's arm and Irish Whips him towards the ropes, near the ladder that Dante had set up earlier outside, and Dante hangs on to the ropes, not returning back to Alex. Alex gets mad and runs towards Dante, who bends down and connects with a modified Back Body Drop, quickly lifting Alex off the ground, over the top ropes, and directly onto the ladder. Luckily for Alex the ladder didn't break at all, but his back is hurting as it connects with the ladder, and he remains laying on the ladder. Dante turns around to see that Alex didn't go through the ladder, as if it were a table, but that's not what Dante had in mind to do.

Ted Cedar: Ladders aren't suppose to break in half, dammit! What is Dante thinking.

Joey Miles: He's fucked in the brain, I tell ya.

Dante is mad that Alex didn't go through the ladder, so he begins walking to the corner near where the ladder is set up, right by the bottom of the entrance ramp. Dante climbs the turnbuckles until he reaches the top one, and he stands tall. Dante standing tall, hawking Alex from the top of the turnbuckle, looks around the arena at the fans standing up from their seats and knowing that whether they love him or hate him, he's about to have all of their attention on him. Dante turns his back on Alex, as he jumps backwards into a corkscrew moonsault connecting with his finisher, The Crucifixion (Infrared [Amazing Red]), putting Alex and himself through the ladder in half. The crowd are stunned as the referee quickly slides outside to check on both competitors. A highlight replay begins to show on the big titantron of Dante jumping off the top of the turnbuckle connecting with The Crucifixion and breaking the ladder in half, landing on Hitman Alex. Both men would have to be hurt after this one, as the highlight fades away. The referee is asking Alex if he's okay or if he wants to continue, but Alex doesn't answer. The referee asks Dante the same question as Dante slowly and angrily yells out no. Dante doesn't want the referee to stop the match. Dante yells at the referee to continue the match to count for his cover. Dante extends his arm across Alex's chest as the referee tries to explain to Dante that Alex isn't even responding. The referee are in shocked are wondering what's going to happen as Dante yells at the referee to continue the match, and the referee feels as though if Dante can end the match, at least there'll be a winner instead of a draw. The referee drops to his knees and begins counting the fall. The fans on their feet seeing Dante covering Alex as the referee yells out "One"............"Two".............Thre--", but the former World Heavyweight Champion somehow manages to raise his arm off the ground and kicking out of the cover. Dante is in shocked as his mouth drops and the referee cannot believes it as well. The fans are cheering as they possibly can as they are happy that Alex is alive and has kicked out, and is still choosing to compete in this brutal hardcore match to advance farther into the King of Xtreme Tournament. Dante remains shocked, but he starts to slowly move away from Alex and the broken ladder as he gets some time to recover.

Ted Cedar: What a move by Dante Cross, but Alex has managed to kick out of it

Joey Miles: There's a reason why he's a three time World Heavyweight Champion. There's a reason why he is one tough Son of a gun! Whether you love him or hate him, he'll definitely have your full attention on him.

The referee is checking on Alex, who is now moving somewhat as he turns onto his stomach and continues to lay flat on the ground. Dante, on the other hand, is pushing himself off the ground to get back up. Dante is hurt, but he wants to be the winner here, as he walks towards Alex's body and begins to reach down to pick him back up. Dante has Alex standing as the fans are cheering for the bout. Dante throws Alex on top of the apron as he rolls under the bottom rope and rolls towards the center of the ring. Dante uses the bottom rope to lift himself up onto the apron and he also slides himself under the bottom rope to slide back inside. Dante rolls on all fours, and then he crawls towards Alex as he covers him again. The referee slides next to the cover, and counts. "One"....."Two"....but Alex kicks out once again. The crowd are happy he kicked out, but Dante doesn't seem too happy. Dante pins Alex once again as the referee counts yet again. "One"...."Two".....but Alex kicks out for the third time. Dante covers Alex once again, and the referee continues to count. "One"..."Tw-" and Alex kicks out quicker than the last. That's the fourth time, and Dante has had enough. Dante lifts himself and Alex back up as Dante swings and connects with a right hook. Alex takes a step back, but swings back a right hook of his own, as Dante takes a step back. Now both men are standing brawling, and swinging right hooks back and forth as the fans cheer every time Alex swings, and boos after Dante swings. Both men swinging back and forth trying to wear down the other, as they continue swinging. After about the eight right hook, Dante jumps in the air and tries to connect with his signature called "Return To sin Kick" (Amazing Red's Spin Kick), but Alex ducks, and Dante misses as he lands back on his feet. Alex, instead, jumps and goes for his new signature move he calls "Attention Seeker" (Tyler Breeze's Beauty Shot) as both of Alex's legs connect right across Dante's face causing him to fall down flat on the mat. The fans love that new move from Alex, as both men are down inside the ring. The referee is checking on both, as Alex is slowly crawling towards Dante's body to try to cover him, and after a few seconds he does. The referee slides next to the cover and begins to count. "One"....."Two".....but Dante manages to kick out. Alex rises back up slowly as by the time he's sitting up on his knees, he sees right behind him he seen the bag he brought inside the ring earlier. Alex begins to crawl towards the bag as the fans see that and they begin to cheer louder. Alex reaches the bag and begins to open the bag to see what's inside, like he doesn't know already, as he stands back up, holding the bag. Alex raises the bag in the air as the fans cheer, as he walks towards Dante. Alex walks right in front of Dante as he drops the insides of the bag near Dante, which happens to be thousands of thumbtacks. The fans begin to go crazy.

Ted Cedar: It's Thumbtacks! Thousands of thumbtacks! Thousands of Thumbtacks!!!

Joey Miles: OHH YEAHHH!!!

Alex continues to drop all of the thumbtacks inside of the bag until there are none left, as he finishes and throws the bag outside the ring. Alex walks around the thumbtacks to get to Dante as he hits him with an elbow tot he back, and then a punch to the back, to wear him down. Alex wraps his arms around Dante's head, looking to set up and go for his finisher, the HKO (RKO), onto the thumbtacks. As Alex runs at full speed, he jumps up, and instead of bringing Dante along with him, Dante counters and sends Alex on his own to drop and fall right onto the thumbtacks. You can hear the fans go "AHHHHHHHHH" as Alex's face drops and eyes get bigger as he feels hundreds of thumbtacks stick right onto his body, all over his back. Alex begins to shake a little bit as his mouth is still dropped. Alex begins to get up as he is shaking, Dante sees that and begins to take advantage of that. Dante wraps Alex's own arm around his own neck, like a chicken wing position, and follows that up by an inverted fireman carry, and drops him right in front of him connecting with his finisher he calls "Fate Ender" (Life Cutter -Sick Nick Mondo). Dante drops Alex out cold as Dante quickly turns Alex over and begins to cover him. The referee slides next to the cover and begins to count. "One"......."Two"......."Thre----", but right before the referee yells out "3", he sees that Alex has raises his right foot on top of the bottom rope near him, which breaks the cover. Dante is shocked as he has given everything he could to the former World Champion. Dante gets mad as he covers Alex once again, and the referee starts his count once again. "One"....."Two"....but this time Alex has kicked out. Whether it's the fact that he has strength in him, or the fact that he is still shaking cause of the thumbtacks, he's still kicking out. Dante gets back up and walks over to the Barbed Wired Baseball Bat, and picks it up. The crowd boos as Dante walks over to Alex. With one hand, Dante grabs Alex by his head and lifts him up on his knees, as Dante leaves him there on his knees while he holds the weapon in his hands. Dante lifts the weapon up in the air, as Alex uses that time to go for a last minute resort, and that's being dirty, by using his right arm to strike Dante's private part, connecting with a Low Blow. Dante's mouth drops as well as the weapon. Alex extends his arm to reach for the weapon and he has it. Alex quickly stands back up and swings the weapon, hitting Dante right on his forehead, knocking him down to the mat. Dante yells as he grabs his face, and his hands quickly begin getting red as he is opened up. Alex stands back up as the fans cheer, while he's holding the Barbed Wire Baseball Bat in his hands and he hits Dante in the same spot once again. Dante begins drippin blood from his forehead as the fans cheer because the "bad guy" in the match is busted open.

Ted Cedar: Dante is busted wide open.

Joey Miles: He's getting what he deserves

Alex drops the weapon as he picks Dante back up. Alex picks Dante back up slowly as he is smiling straight to the camera, while Dante looks like his lights are out. Alex picks Dante, making him stand up on his both legs. Alex drags a bloody Dante towards the center of the ring as he turns to look at every side of the ring to tell the fans that it's over. Alex lifts Dante on his shoulders, into an Attitude Adjustment Position, and Alex quickly drops him (In a Death Valley Drop {I'm going by SVR Move Name}) as he connects with his new finisher that he calls "The Spotlight", or known as the Roode Bomb. Alex turns around onto his stomach as he extends his arm to cover Dante. Alex sticks out of his tongue to clean all the sweat and saliva around his mouth as the referee slides next to the cover to count. "One"........"Two"........and "Three"...... The referee signals for the bell as the timekeeper stops the time and rings the bell. We have a winner, and is not the Son of Sin.

DING DING DING

Joey Miles: I had a chance to talk to Alex backstage and he told me that he had new move that he calls The Spotlight, and I guess we were the first to witness it. What an amazing move, and it got him the win.

Ted Cedar: The Spotlight from The Center of Attention himself. We have a winner, and looks like he'll be advancing in the King of Xtreme tournament.
