While nothing has been set in stone for TNA’s October PPV, one of the matches being talked about for Bound for Glory would see James Storm team up with Sanada, taking on the Great Muta and Yoshihiro Tajiri. That would certainly be in line with the ongoing story, as the former X-Division champion recently turned on his mentor (Muta), aligning himself with “The Cowboy” James Storm. Tajiri – the former ECW/WWE star – worked the last New York Impact Wrestling taping. As Bound for Glory will be taking place in Japan at Korakuen Hall, it’s expected that the local Wrestle-1 promotion will have a heavy involvement in the promotion and build for the PPV.
TNA’s current deal with Spike TV will expire before October, however it’s been said that Spike is willing to continue hosting Impact Wrestling briefly, providing a new deal can be reached with another network, in order to help make the transition easier on everyone. There’s also the option that they could agree to a new deal.
