As we reported last November exclusively here on Bloody Disgusting, New Line is set to release three The Conjuring spinoffs, starting with this October’s Annabelle.

Jeff Sneider of the TheWrap reported this evening that Warner Bros. Pictures has slated two untitled New Line Cinema horror films for 2016, one on January 29, the other set for September 9.

The Conjuring 2, being penned by Carey Hayes and Chad Hayes, is still penciled down for release on October 23, 2015. We think* that at least one of these two new dates is another Conjuring spinoff. Other early speculation is that the latter could be a sequel to Annabelle, in theaters October 3, as early test screenings have been extremely positive.

Who knew The Warren Files would explode into such a rich and diverse franchise for WB and New Line Cinema?!

*This is all speculatory as the dates are associated with “Untiled New Line film”.
