As we have been reporting over the past couple weeks, WWE NXT referees Darrick Moore and Dan "Rudy Charles" Engler have been given sendoffs by Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville, as the refs move to the main WWE roster.

According to live reports, another NXT referee, Jason Ayers, looks to be heading to the main roster as well, as Zayn and Neville gave him a sendoff following last Thursday night's NXT live event in Leesburg, FL.

One of the best things about #NXT...the announcers actually talk about the people in the match. Everything feels so much more important.
#NXT is the easiest show to watch. You get 1-2 good competitive matches, 1-2 lopsided bouts, and maybe an interview. 1hr. Fun & Easy.
At 1 hr I'm always a little disappointed when #NXT is over. Leaves we wanting more, always a good thing. Looking forward to next week.

Used to be a TNA referee. Just wanted to point that out.

Rudy Charles? He was TNA's top referee, wasn't he?

He was before Hebner got there.

Why didn't anyone report this sooner?

Rudy Charles was one of the first referees TNA started with in 2002. He left in 2009 and started refereeing for indy promotions until WWE picked him up to be a referee for NXT in July 2013. Apparently, he was the referee for the Divas Championship match between AJ Lee and Brie Bella at last year's Hell in a Cell PPV. Didn't notice.
