Metro Redux will be released at the end of August, Deep Silver has announced.

The retail edition, which contains remastered versions of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, will launch on August 29 in Europe and August 26 in North America.

The boxed copy also contains all previously released add-on content, as well as 'Spartan' and 'Survival' game modes.

Both games will be available to download individually for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Deep Silver recently confirmed that Metro 2033 will be available with additional sequences and altered missions.

The game has been remade from scratch using the Metro: Last Light Engine.
