| WZ reported several weeks ago that Kevin Steen, who worked last night's Ring of Honor Best in the World PPV, had agreed to a WWE deal.
Steen announced at the PPV last night that he has about a month and a half left on his ROH contract, after which F4WOnline.com reports he is expected to head to the WWE Performance Center to begin his WWE developmental run. |

| I still say there are dudes that dont need to do developmental, especially if their styles are nearly identical to the WWE style. Steen is one of those dudes. |

| Steen's a bit harder in style, but he'll quickly adapt. |

| I want Steen to go to developmental just because NXT is actually really good and he could have some great matches there. |

| If you want Steen to have a good run in WWE, keep him in NXT for awhile. At least he'll be in actual feuds, maybe get a shot at the major title, and be a star. Hell I bet half the NXT roster doesn't even want to be called up and half of the main roster wants to be called down |

| I think if you're coming from the indies, WWE will always stick you in NXT. I think only more well known and proven talents won't, for example if an AJ Styles ever went to WWE. You wouldn't be developing a gimmick with someone like that. |

| I think, realistically, Kevin Steen is coveted for his talking ability. I think they'll give him a legit run, but I wouldn't be surprised if they thought he was destined to end up in the commentators booth. |

I know nothing of Steen, but whatever gimmick he has now WWE will most likely change it entirely. My point was he hasn't been on mainstream TV. |

They stuck Low-Ki in developmental right after his TNA run, and he was a well known talent. |

| ^ Not really. Only among indy fans. Mainstream fans had no idea who he was. Or at least most of them didn't. ____________________ . Favorite Current Wrestlers:1. Sasha Banks 2. Becky Lynch 3. 4. 5. Favorite All-Time Wrestlers:Your dad |

My point was he hasn't been on mainstream TV. The same would go for Styles, Steen has a fully developed gimmick, and WWE doesn't like to acknowledge other products. Even if Styles is a house-hold name the WWE would try to change him. |

| Yeah, this isn't like the Monday Night Wars where WWE can cash in on an existing brand that they recognize and refer to on their own program. WWE doesn't even like to admit TNA exists. The only talent they wouldn't try to repackage would be Sting. |
