Adam Rose was off Raw this week and wrestled on WWE Superstars instead. That is an indication that Vince McMahon is cooling off on the character. As reported several weeks ago, Rose had an uphill climb since he was already deemed a failure by the office after his first week when he didn’t get the response that they wanted. There were signs of life for the character when he got great pops in the United Kingdom.

McMahon is not someone that easily accepts new people as main players on the roster and is said to not be sold on any of the recent characters that were brought up to the roster. Kevin Dunn has buried Rose and Vince is not sold on the character either. It’s the same reason why Paige has the Divas title but they haven’t done much character development on her. Kevin Dunn (Vince’s right hand man), is a huge supporter of Alicia Fox so that’s why she is being featured so prominently.

So a potential character change for Rose?

They should change his character into an African psychotic hunter type person.

It takes awhile for some characters to get over. Remember the Wyatts, it took them awhile. When they first debut people would barely do anything. You hear a quite "Husky Harris" Chants but other than you could hear a pin drop. Now look at them. You can't expect one month for someone to get over, it takes time. If he was getting the same reaction within 5 months yeah maybe call it a failure, but give it fucking time. Also give them fucking shit to do.

They were Instantly over when they where in NXT. But their debut on the main roster, not so much. Go back to Kane vs Bray in that stupid ring of fire match, people where sitting on their hands. The first few months on the main roster was rough for the Wyatt family. People barely reacted to them. The most they did was clap along with the theme song. People didn't really start caring until Bray's feud with Daniel Bryan (as dumb as it was), especially his match with DB at the Royal Rumble and they saw Bray was the real deal.

False. They have the crowd clapping along to the theme and when they show crowd shots almost everyone has their cell phones out. Plus during the Cena feud he had them singing WITH him. They're over in the sense you arent supposed to be cheering FOR them, which has been happening a lot lately.

But they lost all of their momentum when they were paired with Kane. Similar to when they were paired with Rusev, you can't put a major guy with someone no one cares about and assume things are going to go well. Listen to those screams when the crowd goes dark and their music hits.

Nobody chanted "Leakee" at Roman Reigns when The Shield came out and put a big star through a fuckin table.

Because when the Shield debut only a handful of people knew who the hell reigns was and only a small bit of them knew his old ring name Leakee. Bray was on the main roster before as Husky Harris. He was on the Rookie/Pro NXT and was in the Nexus when they feuded with Orton.

I thought the gimmick was a parody of Russell Brand? Still a little dated, but only by a couple years, rather than a couple decades.

I think the gimmick is kinda cool. But it's hard to take him as a serious competitor. Rodrick Strong is a real life party boy but you don't see him dancing to the ring. He'd be a joke.

I'm not a huge fan of Adam Rose but as people have said, he needs time for his character to develop and then the decision needs to be made on what to do with him.
