((Forgive any mistakes, I'm nursing one hell of a hangover and my keyboard is awful.))
We come in to our scene in a courtroom, focused upon the bench from which the Honorable Judge Oliveira presides. Before him stands a legend of the wrestling industry, the infamous Vladimir Strife. The GodKing has his head lowered, glaring up at the judge with wide eyes, as if ready to pounce on a piece of prey. The Judge is a little unsettled by this, but straightens himself out and sits tall upon his soapbox.
"Mr. Strife, you have been brought before me on a multitude of charges so staggering that were the sheet any longer, it'd bare the name of a publisher. Let's see what we have here.."
The demeanor of the GodKing stays the same, watching and waiting with a laser focus. He was already certain he'd never get a fair shake from this judge, but the matter was simply out of his hands at this point.
"32 instances of assault, 19 separate charges of assault with a deadly weapon, 15 furthermore of assault with intent to maim, 41 instances of disturbing the peace, 25 disorderly conducts, 20 charges of harassment..."
The judge takes a deep breath before continuing.
"You are accused of stalking, harassment, assault, and rape all in the matter of one Haven Cassidy, who performed under the name of 'Wolverina' for your promotion. Accusations of sexual assault, harassment and rape in the matter of Amanda Hallsworth. Kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, and two counts of attempted murder in regards to a colleague under the alias 'KingBear', including additional charges of failure to control vehicle and attempted murder of one Daphne Strife stemming from an incident in that case. Attempted murder of colleagues 'Metal Dragon' and Jerry Nate. Lastly, we have involuntary manslaughter in the case of Bud Wyziner, who died shortly after competing against you."
The Judge looks up from the sheet and shakes his head in disgust.
"Mr. Strife, how do you plead?"
Vladimir allows a small grin to take over his features and raises his head.
"...Nostalgic."
The Judge draws back from the comment, wanting to come down upon the Romanian with the full force of the law.
"Is that an admission of guilt?"
"Sure.. I did it. All of it. I was good at it. It made me feel alive. Do as you must."
The Judge sighs and readies his gavel.
"Mr. Strife... you are truly a most reprehensible man. You are hereby fined to the amount of two million dollars and order that you be placed upon probation until such a point in time hat your fines have been paid."
The gavel bangs, it's sound causing the slightest of recoils in the slack jaw of the Barbarian Lord. There had to be some mistake, there was simply no way that this man could go so lenient on him for what he had done. Before Vladimir can process what has just happened, the Honorable Oliveira is stepping back into his private chambers. While the GodKing is ushered out by the bailiff, the Judge attends to more urgent matters: namely the black briefcase of cold hard cash stashed under his desk.
(Again, sorry, I should have put so much work into this, but I ended up waiting til the last day and came out of on the rough end of a showdown with Mr. Jack Daniels..)
