As we noted last night in our spoiler coverage, at one point during Stephanie McMahon's promo segment regarding the WWE Title, she was almost completely drowned out in CM Punk chants. I attended the tapings live, and this took place after she teased stripping Daniel Bryan of the WWE Title and giving it to her husband Triple H.

Stephanie's promo was edited on the actual broadcast of Raw last night and the CM Punk chants were much less audible.

Snoopz! You said only US crowds chant CM Punk. This proves US crowds > UK crowds.

I bet you like The UK Crowds more than some of the wrestling hotbeds over here

If fans are chanting for CM Punk, obviously they believe he deserved the spot he thought he deserved and NOT cheering for him would be blindly following the WWE and thus giving away their money for nothing. They want to see a certain product -- CM Punk -- Not whatever the fuck WWE feels like. Fans should chant CM Punk forever.

Now before anyone comments by writing they pay for their ticket, they can chant what they want. I’m not disputing that. I just want a clear response as to why one would feel the need to do it? Punk quit WWE over 3 months ago. The chants have become like nails on a chalk board. It’s time to get over it and if you’re that upset about it, no chant is as bold as no longer watching and no longer attending. Just buying a ticket with the sole purpose of chanting for a guy that quit three months ago seems rather ridiculous to me.

Damn they must have done some damn good editing. I didn't notice the chants at all, or maybe I just wasn't paying attention enough.

Regardless, it would've been great to see her getting drowned out by CM Punk chants.

Also side note, the UK crowd sucked overall but at least they're into it.

I think the CM Punk chants exist because people find it funny xD

Yes! I wholeheartedly agree we should cheer for a dude who quit on his fans!

The fans don't know that. They blame the whole thing on WWE and say they're going to stop watching Raw and Smackdown because no "No Punk = No WWE."

The fans blame WWE for him quitting because the fans and Punk believe he wasn't in the top spot he deserved. Fans didn't care about him ending up in a feud with fucking Kane.

It's like the new "We want Flair" or "Fire Russo" chant. If something happens that the fans don't like they'll chant for CM Punk.

But there's no point. It's not WWE's fault he left, he left on his own. Not only that, but it's not WWE's call whether or not to bring him back. They've tried for months now.

It's not better than the WHAT? chant, even if it got dumb
