- With WWE running feuds with The Shield vs. The Wyatts and now The Shield vs. Evolution, there has been speculation and rumors regarding WWE doing a "War Games Match" at an upcoming PPV.

The company has their PPV locations mapped out, and word is that only one arena the company has booked between now and SummerSlam can fit the two ring setup that War Games requires. That would be the Tampa Bay Times Forum, which hosts the Battleground PPV on July 20th in Tampa, FL.

Let the rumors continue.

They ain't ever doing a War Games match <_<

Would be totally awesome to see though.

They say Triple H has always had a hard on for the War Games. But since Vince had more power then he didn't want to bring in a WCW style match, so the elimination chamber was made to be the new age war games. But Triple H still wanted to bring it in, and now that Triple H has more power I wouldn't be shocked if he brought it in. Vince might be mad at him for awhile, but I think the Nostalgia of it could bring in some people to watch...maybe just for a short while just to see how WWE would do it. And if they do it, the two rings must be a thing or else it doesn't seem like the war games.

If they bring Sting in as a Raw GM or something like that, it would be absolutely awesome for him to make the announcement about it, bringing back some of the old school stuff from back in his day. Sting was in several of those events. Put the Shield Vs Wyatts vs Evolution in it and let that be the end all be all as to which group is superior.

Also, if they do have it, Battleground would be fitting. Seeing as War happens on a Battleground.

Battleground would have to be the only place to hold it if the report of the Tampa arena being big enough is true.

Yeah I always thought the only reason they didn't do it was because you'd have less seats to fill an arena.
