During another #AskDixie Q&A, Dixie Carter had the following say when asked if Monty Brown will ever return to TNA:

"Monty Brown is still one of my favorite TNA stars from our early days. He was able to transition from the NFL to the ring and showed good charisma. Monty is now retired and currently lives in Michigan."

Being in WWE's version of ECW fucked him up pretty bad I see.

Hell I think he would have held it for a long time. i don't think even Mark Henry's title run would have happen in ECW if he had stayed. I bet on it he would have become World champion.

and maybe he would've moved up to RAW/SD! and won a major title there...

Damn shame he had to retire. I loved his Pounce finisher.
