M4 | Big Jim vs. JHalc Empty
PostSubject: Re: M4 | Big Jim vs. JHalc   M4 | Big Jim vs. JHalc EmptySat Feb 01, 2014 7:35 pm

As the bell sounds, both men lock up and get things started.  JHalc grabs a headlock, but is pushed into the ropes and catches an elbow from Jim as he comes back.  The twisted timber slayer puts the boots to his smaller opponent as he struggles to his feet, before firing him into the far ropes and back-dropping him to the mat.  The Jack of Hearts grasps the ropes in order to get his feet under him, but turns directly into the path of a charging woodsman, who cactus clotheslines himself and his opponent to the outside.  Another Irish whip sends JHalc’s back collide with the retaining wall, though a number of hands seek to cradle his sagging form.  Big Jim sets to work stripping the concrete floor of its protective covering, but when the mats separate him from his foe, and obscure his gaze, JHalc fires a dropkick that flattens the whistle punk.

Serves him right, Joe, this isn’t a hardcore match up.  Big Jim gets himself in trouble every time he lets himself get carried away.

He’s a scary sonofabitch, let me tell ya, but not always the brightest.

The risk taker sends all of his 217 pounds crashing into Jim as he performs a series of merciless jumping double stomps on his prone form.  He then hops nimbly onto the apron, scales the turnbuckle and hits a crossbody on the rising logger.  He grasps the sides of Jim’s head, ignoring the greasy feel of pomade, and slams his head against the cement before sending him back inside.  Up to the tope again, the twenty-eight year old lands a flying axe handle.  Getting his opponent to his feet, he goes for the whip, sees it reversed, catches a feral kick and casts it aside, ducks a wild roundhouse and replies with a few choice strikes of his own, concluding with a clothesline that gets the crowd on its feet.

He’s starting to heat up Teddy, and he’s got the crowd at his back.  Jim better pull his head outta his ass but quick.

JHalc is just out-wrestling him, plain and simple.  He isn’t letting this thing turn into a street brawl.

A scoop slam lays Jim out in preparation for a flying elbow drop.  The flashbulbs light up the darkened venue as nearly everyone tries to catch the Jack of Hearts in flight.  Big Jim’s animal instincts serve him well on this occasion however and he rolls clear, conferring with his moose skin on the outside momentarily.  When he re-enters the fray he back his opponent into the corner and lays in a few chops and body blows, before JHalc pivots and manages to trap Jim in the corner and reply with some punches of his own.  Jim tries to extricate himself with a single leg takedown, but both men end up rolling on the map, trading blows.

Now this is a mistake, you can start trading punches and rolling around with Big Jim.

He’ll damn sure fight ya Teddy…Jim likes it in close so he can get dirty.  He’s like me that way.

True to the words spoken Jim manages to catch his prey in a body scissors and attempts to lock on a chokehold and gain a submission.  The double champion fights to prevent Jim’s arms from closing around his throat, and shoots an elbow into his adversaries head in order to make him think again.  The lumberman’s legs having relaxed, JHalc peppers the bearded visage with punches, and rising to verticality levels a few kicks for good measure.  The official breaks it up a moment and the sou’west savage is able to stand once more and respond to this latest flurry by abruptly shoving the ref aside and levelling the smaller man with a forearm shot that puts him outside the confines of the squared circle.  The birler adjusts a folding table, positioning it with purpose, only to have JHalc bound over it, sending him stumbling.  The self-styled joker slams the head of the Black Rapids brute against the apron, then hooks a suplex.  As both men fall backward, Jim’s leg collides with the ring steps and he emits a wounded whoop.

Well piss on the fire and call in the dogs Ted, that’s a match ending move there.  He’s god-damned luck if his leg isn’t broke after that move.

A sickening sound as flesh and bone meet the steel…and steel wins every time folks.

As the Maritimer hobbles back into the ring, JHalc takes the pins out from under him with a chop block.  He grasps the near leg of his opponent, lifts it up and drives the knee into the canvas.  He laces a few kicks into the battered limb, stomps it a few times more, and must contend with the official once again.  As they argue, Jim regains his bearings and gives JHalc a shot to the throat when he returns to action.  Another few untamed punches rock the champion and put him on all fours, where a punt kick sees him to his back.  Jim tries for the cover, but only comes up with two.  He lifts his opposite up and makes to plant another boot to his midsection but JHalc grabs the leg and spins inward,  causing Jim to fall off balance and twist in the air, bringing him to the ground in a turning motion.  The legwhip is a perfect set-up and the Jack of Hearts doesn’t have two belts for nothing, so he gets a step-over toe hold and finishes with a figure-4.

Smart move here, working on that injured leg, he could get a submission here.

That’s bullshit for a story and you know it.  A busted wheel might mean its over for Jim in this match, but good luck getting him to admit it.

Big Jim squeals and squirms against the searing pain radiating from his leg, drops to his back but springs up at the referee’s count of one.  Questions regarding his preparedness to submit are met with obscenities and animalistic grunts and growls.  Jim finally escapes with the aid of a handful of hair and straight left hand to the face of his captor.   As both men get to their feet, JHalc wises levels a dropkick at the wounded wheel of the woodsman.  He follows up with a half crab, wrenching back on the tender leg, while Jim drags himself to the bottom rope in order to force the break.  The titlist waits until his foe is upright once more and hooks the arms of the logger, grapevining legs around one arm and arms around the other. JHalc then lowers his bodyweight so that Jim is brought down to the mat backwards and is forced on to his own shoulders in a pinning position that results in another two count.  Frustrated, the risk taker charges in, looking to keep up the momentum as Jim uses the ropes to get vertical.  The perverse pulp peeler has his sixth sense working for him yet again and snatches up the quick adversary, dropping him neck-first on the ropes for a stun gun.

The shit just hit the fan for JHalc, he should have tried harder to finish him off.

You got that right partner, give Jim an inch and he’ll take a mile.

Big Jim scorns the opportunity for a pinfall victory and seats himself on the apron.  Having retrieved the pulp hook, he now jabs it into the offending joint in the hopes of somehow alleviating the pain.  Back into the ring, he blatantly chokes his opponent until the referee’s disqualification count reaches a perilous four.  Positioning JHalc in the corner, Jim makes a bee-line and smashes his uninjured knee into the face of the opposition.  Following this offensive offering, Jim’s rule-breaking desires get the best of him and he begins biting the champion about the face, masticating a visage the envy of the locker room.  The man in stripes makes certain that Jim can’t finish his meal and JHalc gets to his feet once more.  As Jim attacks, he’s caught in a side suplex that sends him to the deck.  Popping up a little too soon, he’s dismissed once more, with a right hand.  Jim turns quickly and connects with a kick to the boiler, but when he goes for the Irish whip, JHalc slides through his legs, then scoops those same legs to put Jim on his back.  After splitting the pins of the logger, a dropping an elbow to his midsection, JHalc urges Big Jim to get back to his feet.  The bigger man complies, but when he’s shot to the corner he shoots back and with a wild whoop sends the Jack of Hearts into the turnbuckle so hard he ends up tied to the tree of woe.

Big Jim back on top here…

…and you don’t want to be looking at that ugly bastard when you’re hanging upside down and helpless.

With blood rushing to his head, the risk taker is helpless as Jim drops a headbutt and then an axe handle into his exposed upper body.  Jim unhooks his foe’s legs and JHalc tumbles to the cavas, facedown when Jim comes off the ropes and lands a big legdrop.  Jim’s nostrils flare as he appears to have picked up some subtle sign or shift in the wind.  He rolls the champ out and lays him next to the stairs.  He ought to have sniffed twice, because when he charges with the knee on this occasion he meets nothing but metal.  Tottering away from the offending steps, his face is reintroduced to them courtesy of a JHalc drop toe hold.  Both grapplers are winded at this point, groping their way toward the ring in the hopes of beating the referee’s count.  They make it to the apron on opposite sides of the post and slide in at nearly the same moment.  As both men get to their feet, JHalc sets up for a suplex.  He can’t quite get Jim up, and suddenly Jim is trying to reverse, but the Jack of Hearts kicks his legs and manages to prevent him.  Finally the initial suplex, as was intended, is successful and Jim is down once more.  A pull from JHalc, however, sees him to his feet and whipped to the far side, his return trip shortened by a back elbow.  A body slam on the wounded whistle punk leads to a failed pinning attempt.  Aggravated, JHalc fires Jim into the ropes with much gusto and the lumberman’s head goes between the ropes, twisting and hanging him.  While the referee looks to release him, the titlist comes over to inflict some damage, but receives a pulp hook claw hold.  Big Jim’s face is turning colour and yet he digs in with the claw, until the referee frees him and he drops to the floor.

What the fuck does it take to get this guy off his game?  I mean he’s choking to death and he’s still trying to finish off his opponent…he’s nuts!

No argument there, but Jim does not mind injuring himself if it affords him an opportunity to hurt someone else.

As he slides back into the ring, JHalc is there to meet him by stomping on his digits.  Looking to make certain he needn’t worry about the face-hugging move again, the Jack of Hearts bites the birler’s fingers, spitting when he finds them not to his taste.  He now spreads them unnaturally, wrenches, and bites them, until the official intercedes once more.  The requisite admonishment having been received, JHalc dashes toward his foe, only to be backdropped to the outside.  The perverse pulp peeler steps onto the apron only long enough to fly off with an elbow drop to the heart of the Jack.  Jim then gathers up his opposition, applies a front facelock and swinging himself and the dual champion down to the ground, in a semi-circular motion.  The swinging neck-breaker may be enough to draw a countout win so Jim scampers back inside.  Alas, the strength is not yet sapped from the risk taker’s body and he slowly rolls to his knees and crawls up onto the apron.  The moment his head is through the ropes, Jim descends upon it with a guillotine legdrop.  Dragging the enemy to his feet, Jim delivers a DDT, but can only manage a two.  Undaunted, he tries a piledriver, but still can only secure a two.  He cradles JHalc and hooks a leg, but still is one mat slap short of final victory.

And JHalc will not be denied!  This kid has a lot of guts…

…and shit for brains!  He’s got a title match coming up in a few days.

Discouraged now, Big Jim motions toward the back and in no more than a minute Cletus is loping toward the ring at a trot.  A few steps down the aisle however, and he’s bowled over by David Michaels.  The two men brawl down toward the ring. As the Beaubears Island bruiser takes a lickin’, Big Jim turns into a set of lefts and rights, followed by a flying forearm from the IC & tag champ, who nips up quickly and scales the ropes.  Jim bounces off those same ropes as he tries to stand, thereby ensuring JHalc will be singing soprano in the showers tonight.  As Jim sets up for the superplex, Dave Michaels hits the ring and hits a low blow the perspective tag team title challenger.  The ref calls for the DQ, but this thing’s far from over.  JHalc, his gonads still in a state of partial inflammation, sets up for the super powerbomb and the world champ is more than happy to oblige him with the backstabber.

The Devolver!  The Tag Team Champions send a powerful message to the #1 Contenders.

Damn straight, you got lucky once, but don’t expect it to happen a second time.

Big Jim get’s the win here tonight with a DQ, but he doesn’t look like he’ll be doing much celebrating…
