| We have a TE swap proposed — Cameron Brate (3 TDs in last 4 weeks) for O’Leary (7 targets all season including zero last night).
I’d like the O’Leary owner to explain the upside of this trade from his point of view — why give up a guy who is consistently producing TDs for someone who almost never gets thrown to. Something stinks here.
Commish needs to inquire for league integrity. |

| I offered him O'Leary and Gore. He didn't want to drop anyone for Gore. So I offered to give him O'Leary and Crabtree in exchange for Brate and whatever WR he least wanted to keep. He said he'd like to do just O'Leary for Brate. I think Caleb was trying to be nice with the trade since his main TE already passed his BYE and, barring an injury, he'll exclusively be using him as TE for the rest of the year. Meanwhile, the trade with you was something I accepted hastily and wanted vetoed but it didn't get vetoed so I needed a TE. Especially now, with my team being repeatedly hit with big injuries (Freeman, Lynch and now Fuller). If I was getting a star out of this, I'd definitely say it's something that should be vetoed, but I'm not. This is an improvement for me, but not a drastic one. Brate only has 15 more points for the entire season than O'Leary. He's just someone that's a little more startable. Brate isn't someone who is "constantly producing TDs". He just got three (his only three of the year) in the last four weeks. |

| Eh, O'Leary has a chance to produce moving forward. Brate is better / a safer bet but it's not that ridiculous of a trade |

| Man, it seems like every week there are debates on whether or not we should reject a trade |

| Yeah, I think you'd have to ask Caleb. I sincerely doubt there's any sort of collusion here. |

| I don't really care. I think we're vetoing too many trades this year. |

| We should just veto the rest of CB's trades. Too many people are trying to take advantage of him |

| Yeah honestly that TJ/Ian trade was pretty unfair BUT not enough for it to not go through I think. |

| Now that I know I would've beat Ian anyway by 5.5 points, maybe the trade wasn't too unfair to allow. |

| Speaking of 5.5 points, that's how much more I would have scored this week had that trade gone through. |

It was definitely a fishy-looking trade. So Brate fell off the map and O’Leary never got on it ... but at the time one guy was hot and the other might as well have been inactive every week for what he was producing. The best explanation seemed to be “Well the Brate owner probably wasn’t going to be starting him so he wanted to give him to another owner to help that owner win” — which is what collusion is. In FF, you can do anything to enhance your own chances — even tank a game if that keeps another team out of the playoffs that you might not want to face — but to loan someone on your roster (or outright give him away basically) to help make another team better, that crosses the line. It’s a minor trade that had little or no impact, but based on the players’ resumes at the time it raised a lot of red flags. If I traded a RB who had scored 3 out of 4 weeks for a RB who literally had 7 carries all season and basically no stats, you’d be foolish not to wonder what was up. |

| Yeah fair enough. But truth be told with Howard coming back I just expected Brate to be irrelevant and didn’t have much desire for him anymore with my TE’s bye week already over. O’Leary has just come off a decent game before that so I figured if Snoop wanted Brate, it wouldn’t make hardly any difference at all; which it didn’t, ironically until now where Snoopz picked him back up after dropping him with Howard going down. But if I didn’t trade him, he would have been released shortly after anyway. |

I’d figure with 3 TDs in a span of 4 games, you might could have gotten something for him — not a RB1, but maybe a decent defense or a WR3 or whatever. Trading for a lesser player at the same position just raises eyebrows. |
