| So we need a board meeting to discuss one of our amendments. We are here today to discuss the integrity of the following rule change on signing/dropping players: If an owner accidentally drops the wrong player from their team they have the right to get them back if they abide by these rules: - You alert the league of your mistake within an hour after the transaction (whether that be on the yahoo chat or message board or on this forum) - It is your FIRST instance of making this error in a season. Any other instances after that will be ignored and you are shit out of luck. As always sign & drop players carefully. Also making this mistake is not encouraged so it's not something that should be viewed as a privilege and should be used by everyone... it's more of a lifeline in case of a legitimate mistake. NOTE: CB has made a mistake in dropping Charles Clay instead of Chris Ivory so I will be swapping those two players around for him. |

| Drachen could've used this rule a few seasons ago when he accidentally dropped a pretty good player |

| How does one accidentally drop someone. I think you’ve got to click to confirm it, right? Aren’t the names right there for you to see? I don’t get it.
And exactly waht is the process for informing the commish? |

And exactly waht is the process for informing the commish? Carelessness is the answer to the first part And you can inform the commish/league in any way just as long as it's within an hour of the transaction. Any thread on the site, in the chatbox on here, in the yahoo chat / message board... whatever is most convenient. |

| Let this serve as notice that if I drop someone from my roster and they have a good week, it was an accident and I was really trying to put them in my starting lineup so please put them back on my roster and gift me the points they would have scored.
Thanks. |

| That's an idiotic point, my guy. They're completely different situations. It was an honest mistake and I noticed it pretty quickly. It's a guy who's going to ride my bench and was dropped by accident, it's not like I intentionally dropped him.
Like I said tho, stupid point. |

Any thread on the site, in the chatbox on here, in the yahoo chat / message board... whatever is most convenient. This encourages carelessness. This is just to prevent anything crazy happening from a random accident. Let's say Odell Beckham Jr. is accidentally dropped by someone, that's a big addition for another team based simply off of carelessness from someone else. It's not just their own team they're affecting. This new rule should NOT be taken advantage or encouraged either. Like CB should get widely trashed around the league for making this mistake It's just if accidents like this happen we need to take action for the integrity of the league, at least if people realize their mistake when it's made (or shortly after). In this particular case, Charles Clay isn't a majorly big deal. BIG thing to consider in this is you have ONE HOUR to notice this mistake and alert the league in some way. NO exceptions (1 hour and 1 minute is too late) and people can only do this once. A second time and that just means you're stupid or have fat fingers or bad vision. (The same way we'd put those players back on a team if it's someone trying to deliberately dump off players for other people to add. --- ie. Snoopz & Moose are on watch for this and I'd HOPE they wouldn't try to ruin the league like this again ) |

Thanks. Yeah I gotta agree with CB, this point is reeeeally reaching Pat 1 hour won't tell you any additional information on a player 99% of the time. Sure someone could find something out right after dropping a player, or they could just simply have a change of heart, and therefore take advantage of this rule in that way... but that issue if FAR less than the issue of someone accidentally dropping a superstar (or any player they actually wanted) that they didn't mean to drop. |

| I wasn't that serious tbf, I just had to explain it all and couldn't really clown around in case you were actually questioning this / against it. Oh and this league is always serious business everyone should know that by now |

| One thing that should happen if someone uses this loophole is that, sure, the transaction is reversed, but they move to the back of the line on waiver priority as if they had made a transaction. At least then there’s some penalty for doofusness. |
