| Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)Terror Level: Medium This film is a classic. The suspense level was high. It wasn't too scary but it was really fun to watch. |

| House of Usher (1960)Terror Level: Low This is one of the few times I actually read the source material before I watched the film. Well this film doesn't compare to Poe's story. There were a few things that could make a person jump but the film doesn't inspire fear in me. Perhaps it was the old cheesy special effects. I gotta admit I love Vincent Price and will probably watch a lot more of his films this month. |

| The Body Snatcher (1945)Terror Level: None This was certainly a good film and has one of Boris Karloff's best performances. But it lacked anything really scary. It's certainly worth watching but I'd skip this one if you're looking for frights. |

| Frankenstein (1931)Terror Level: None It's funny by today's standards this film wasn't scary at all. But back then the film studio felt the need to start the movie off with a warning that it maybe too scary for some people. Plus the story is so well known it's hard to be surprised at anything that happens. It wasn't scary but it was enjoyable. |

| Willard (1971 film)
Terror Level: None.
It's not scary. It's just quite tense. I don't think many horror films are scary any more, and "jump" films just don't appeal to me. |

| House of 1,000 Corpses (2003)Terror Level: Medium I guess Rob Zombie wanted to take The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and mess it up with his music videos. This movie got a bit scary with it's jumps and crazy out of this world atmosphere |

| The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996)Terror Level: Low I took a chance on this film because of some positive reviews I read on Amazon. Well all I can say is that someone highly overrated this film. There's a few moments you might jump at but it's not very scary at all. The story was a mess. I wouldn't bother with this one. |

| Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012)Terror Level: None I didn't expect this one to be scary at all. I knew this was going to be an action film. There are a few moments that could make you jump though. I thought it was a good film. It seemed most people expected more humor which I can understand since the idea behind this story is quite silly. |

Abigail 2014 *Annabelle... Anyway; Audition (1999)Terror Level: What the fuck Japan? I wouldn't say it's scary in the traditional sense, but it's pretty weird. If you've got a fear of dating/commitment you might have one after watching Audition. There's also the usual batshit Japan stuff. |

| Dracula (1931)Terror Level: Low This movie is creepier than I expected. Bela Lugosi was great. I'm surprised that he only played Dracula one other time after this film. |

| House on Haunted Hill (1959)Terror Level: Low Not the scariest film ever but I do love it. Also I think I said this already but Vincent Price is my favorite horror actor ever. |

| The Thing (2011)Terror Level: Medium I don't think this is scary as the second film. I honestly think the 1980s special effects were more realistic than what we saw in this film. Plus the monster in the last film was more realistic, though I can understand maybe the alien underestimating the humans in it's first contact. I think a problem is that the plot is a little too close to the first though I think they did make it different enough to be enjoyable. I think it's worth watching if you're a big fan of the second film. |

| Evil Dead (2013)
Terror level: Medium-High It has its moments where the unsuspecting may be a little freaked out/frightened and it isn't quite as unintentionally comical as its original. Plus it's my fourth(?) time watching the remake, I just love the film itself and can't wait for the sequel(s)! |

The Purge: Anarchy Terror Level: Low
Both movies arent designed to scare you in the traditional sense. No ghosts, no serial killers, these are designed to show what would happen if the govt allowed crime for a 12 hour period. The first one was good, the 2nd one was amazing. |
