| Can wrestling be taken too serious? Does Comedy hurt Wrestling? Do they belong together? Should they never mix? |

| Imagine if they tried to put jokes in Alien.
Or even Live And Let Die or The Man With The Golden Gun where trying to be funny really brings the movie down.
Pro Wrestling is supposed to be a simulated sport. And sometimes funny things happen in sports. I bet you can find a million different gifs of funny incidents that was not orchestrated.
Some promotions take it too far. Even WWE tries to be funny and fails. Who doesn't want to punch Cole when he's doing a fake laugh? |

| I mean... what's the difference between comedy and a gimmick like Ultimate Warrior or the Undertaker? Wrestling has always been over-the-top gimmicky carny entertainment. or at least has been since like the 80s. |

| Wrestling itself by definition is silly. Wrestling is theater and like theater there are many forms. The sports atmosphere like in njpw, comedy like in DDT and chikara, sports entertainment like week. Drama and scifiy like lucha underground. They all belong in the world of wrestling. It's ok to only like one certain type, but saying all wrestling should be like one type is being an elitist asshole who needs to get the stick out of their ass. |

Warrior failed to draw as a top guy. He was so bad he was almost entirely left out in the late '90s period. And what he did contribute was terrible and he was thrown away quickly. Undertaker to me was an exception not the rule. And let's not pretend that everything he was involved in did big business. |

Some people like German Dungon Porn. And That's fine. Doesn't mean we need to play it at a Century 16 theater. |

if you are comparing Comedy base wrestling or something that isn't pure sport style pro wrestling like NJPW and ROH to something like Germna Dungeon porn...again that stick needs to get out man. |

| I know he is using one jerkface, it's an asinine one at that. He hates shit like what Joey Ryan or any comedy happens because he thinks it makes Wrestling look stupid to casual or nonviewers. Wake up call...Wrestling will look stupid no matter what. And he always said Wrestling is meant to be a simulated sport...Look HOW FUCKING DUMB that is. It's a thing pretending to be a sport but it is not one because it is staged, people are really trying to hurt each other, and winners are picked not based on who would actually win. If people wanted to watch a combat sport they watch Real wrestling, MMA, or Boxing. If you try to defend wrestling using that do you know how utterly ridiculous that would make you sound? That's why I use wrestling is an art form and theater as a defense because it is. People who shit on wrestling with shit on it regardless. Doesn't matter how many times you tell them the moves hurt, there is risk and shit...they will always see it as a FAKE SPORT. And I could care less what wrestling haters have to say about wrestling, they can go fuck themselves for all I care. |

| Wrestling is about entertainment, it is a show, the simulated sport is apart of that entertainment but it isn't the only important factor. Like I said Wrestling is theater and like theater there are different genre of wrestling. You got the type that only focuses on the sports type, you got comedy compaines like Chikara and DDT, You got the sci-finess drama of Lucha Underground, and you got WWE which has a mixture of every fucking thing. If you hate one type, if you don't like one type and only LIKE ONE TYPE that is fine. But going around and saying other types don't belong, or the fact that it so silly it is embarrassing...fucking christ thats the elitism bullshit I hate. Because wrestling is silly, it is stupid from the beginning even before the Hogan era wrestling has been silly. ANd you say wrestling is a Sim Sport...That sounds so fucking silly. |

| Okay so you talk about how elitist I am. Well yeah. When you know more than other in a field that makes you better in it.
Am I going to pretend I know as much as Dave Meltzer, Jim Cornette and Vince McMahon? No and I never will. If you want to call The Wrestling Observer and The Jim Cornette Experience elitist than you're right! Because they have decades of experience and that's why people pay to listen. |

| Let's talk about Final Deletion. Honestly I thought it was hilarious. But I knew it was stupid. And I said doing stuff like that would hurt TNA in the long run instead of help them. Was I wrong? |

| Fuck Dave and fuck Jim all I will say on them. The proto smark and an old fuck who believes it's still the fucking 70's
And the fucking final deletion didn't hurt tna,if anything it saved them it made people talk again, it got anthem attention. But what has runied tna is a problem they have always had, dumbasses in charge. As much as I love Hogan he and Eric hurt tna, Dixie hurt tna, double j hurt tna. The talent, specially comedy talent didn't hurt tna. So don't drag them into this. |

| Wrestling is a stage play. But the plot of that stage play is a simulated sport. There's a place for it to be taken seriously like in RoH and NJPW, and there's a place for it to be goofy like DDT and Chikara.
WWE tries to have its cake and eat it too. They pretend that their characters and titles are a big deal and then they treat them like jokes 2 weeks later. |

| TNA/GFW has an ad revenue split deal so they need ratings to increase revenue. All the Deletion stuff did not do that. And like I predicted doing it so many times made ratings drop. So elitist.
And fuck Jim Cornette? The man saved Ring of Honor from going bankrupt. Imagine where wrestling be right now if GFW and ROH died. |

| Fuck Jim Cornett I will continue to say that, because oh yeah he saved roh, but people who watched at that time said jim's 1876 booking was shit. Jim is a fucking tool bag who blames everything on everyone else. He thinks everyone is out to get him and burns so many bridges. Jim is a has been who people only like these days cause of his bitching.
All of Matt projects where the highest rated shit during his stay in tna. People only cared about Matt and his broken universe because everything else was shit. |

| It's just like Jim Cornette says. People will want to see the thing that will never happen. Once the thing that will never happen twice people lose interest. |

Undertaker to me was an exception not the rule. And let's not pretend that everything he was involved in did big business. Warrior apparently drew well enough to be bigger than Hogan for a year. He was left out of the 90s because he was a terrible businessman. |

Warrior was beloved, at one point more than Hogan. But the many bridges he burnt hurt him in the long run. |

| He was crazy while he was IC Champion. And he was around after he was heavyweight champion and was brought back. The truth is he can create a bump in business temporary but long term he wasn't good. |

| Bull you make me not want to agree with you when you argue the way you do. and please, don't make a 10000th "I'm sorry, I wasnt on meds, etc." thread. Either learn to control your anger or don't. But you needa calm down when you discuss stuff. You flip out really quick for no reason, so even when you're right you come off as someone who people don't want to agree with. |
