ECW Show #1

ECW kicks off with Shane McMahon in the ring, welcoming the crowd. He talks about buying the rights to ECW and bringing it back, as well as what it'll be like under his leadership. Shane says forget the extreme, ECW now stands for Excellent Championship Wrestling. There will be no more "garbage wrestling", there will just be excellence. Naturally, the crowd doesn't like this and boos. He tells them to boo all they want, it doesn't matter because he's in charge. Suddenly, the sound of glass shattering is heard and the crowd loses their shit as Stone Cold Steve Austin makes his way out. He heads down to the ring as "Stone Cold" chants go off. In the ring, Shane asks Austin what the hell he's doing there, to which Stone Cold replies, simply "what?" The audience plays along with the "what?" shtick for a bit, interrupting Shane repeatedly as he tries to tell Stone Cold to leave. Infuriating Shane, he demands Stone Cold get out of his ring, but Austin stops him mid-sentence and informs Shane that the network went over his head. They don't want Shane to run things by himself. As such, they've appointed Austin as his co-General Manager. Shane, upset, takes a jab at Austin, saying nobody wants a repeat of RAW 2003. Stone Cold asks the fans to give him a hell yeah if they want a repeat of RAW 2003 and garners quite a bit of hell yeahs from the audience. McMahon insinuates this is an outrage and receives a Stunner for his efforts. Stone Cold goes on to announce the main event of tonight, stating that he two so-called Supermen of wrestling, John Cena and Roman Reigns, will team up with the unholiest of alliances, the Brothers of Destruction. He calls some backstage workers out to get Shane out of the ring because we're gonna start by crowning inaugural ECW Tag Team Champions. While Shane is carried out, Austin does his usual beer bathing stuff and heads up the ramp, into the backstage.

1.) Uso's vs. Lucha Dragons vs. Enzo & Cass - Triple Threat Tag Team Match - ECW Tag Team Championships

The match is very fast paced, with each team getting in a good amount of offense and high spots. The more memorable moments of the match include Cassady vaulting Enzo over the top rope onto all four opponents, the Uso's landing simultaneous Superkicks to Kalisto mid-air following a springboard and Kalisto doing the Salida del Sol to Cassady from inside the ring, with Cassady on the apron, to the outside. The match comes to a close with the usual shenanigans of multi-team matches involving everyone being in the ring at once. With Enzo and Kalisto as the legal men, Cassady plants a Big Boot firmly onto Jey Uso before Sin Cara rolls him up from behind, only to showcase great strength by lifting the big man into a one-handed Powerbomb. Jimmy Superkicks Sin, only to eat an Enzuigiri from Enzo. Kalisto sneaks up behind Enzo and spins him around, proceeding to nail him with the Salida del Sol for the three count.

Winners: The Lucha Dragons via Pinfall

Tyler Breeze is backstage with a nameless interviewer. He's asked what his thoughts are about the rebirth of ECW and if he thinks he has what it takes to survive in the land of extreme. Breeze says it doesn't matter where he wrestles and whether it's extreme or not. He's the most super good-looking piece of gorgeousness any company will ever see. He then asks the interviewer what his name is. The interviewer is cut off right as he's about to answer, however, as Breeze stops him and tells him his name, much-like the rest of him, is irrelevant. The interviewer sulks a bit but continues, asking Tyler if he has any game-plan for his match against Seth Rollins, tonight. Tyler looks at the interviewer, clearly annoyed, before calling for someone to enter the shot. In comes Shawn Michaels to a massive pop, with even the interviewer becoming star-struck. He asks Shawn what he's doing here and Shawn informs him that he's decided to take Tyler under his wing. He says that Tyler reminds him a lot of himself, in his earlier days. Young, charismatic, gorgeous. He's a star that's finally been discovered - by him. Breeze tells the "uggo" interviewer to watch what happens tonight when Seth Rollins faces off against the new future of wrestling.

---Commercial Break---

2.) Rhyno vs. Darren Young

As soon as the match starts, an aggravated Rhyno Gores Darren practically out of his boots. He kicks him out of the ring and then continues the beating on the outside before grabbing a steel chair and smashing it over Darren's head, intentionally getting himself disqualified.

Winner: Darren Young via Disqualification

He keeps on with the beat down until the official tries to step in, only to find himself getting Gored as well. He goes back to kicking the shit out of Darren until he's bored and then leaves.

Stone Cold Steve Austin is seen backstage, in his office, with an incensed and hurt Shane McMahon, whom is recovering on the couch as a doctor checks on him. Stone Cold tells him to man up before a knock is heard on their door. Austin tells the person to come in and it's Sasha Banks, looking rather unimpressed. Austin asks if he can help her. She says yes, he can. He can explain why the hell she's not involved in the six woman tag team match later tonight. Stone Cold peeks over at Shane and tells Sasha to ask the man who booked the match. Banks pushes passed Austin and heads right over to Shane, knocking the doctor straight out of the way. She demands answers and Shane tells her a seven woman tag team match wouldn't make sense. She asks why she was chosen to fall back from it, then. Annoyed and still in pain, Shane tells her to leave the office and he'll get back to her later. Naturally, this pisses Sasha off. She says he may be her boss, but she's /the/ boss, and if she doesn't get her way, there will be hell to pay. Sasha leaves, as Stone Cold chuckles in Shane's direction at what just happened.

---Commercial Break---

Alexa Bliss, Emma and Melina are seen backstage, discussing their upcoming match. Emma and Alexa seem to be on the same page, but Melina tells them they better not mess up. She also says not to expect any friendships to come from this. They're out there as partners tonight, but next week, they'll be enemies with the ECW Vixen's Championship on the line. Melina walks off, leaving Alexa and Emma behind as she appears to have rubbed them the wrong way.

Seth Rollins' makes his way to the ring for his match, with a microphone in hand. Upon entering the ring, he asks what this is. He questions Shawn Michaels being here to coach Tyler Breeze and asks if it has anything to do with Seth being Tyler's first opponent. He asks if Shawn is upset about everyone calling him the new and improved Shawn Michaels. He then says everyone is wrong for saying that, because he's not the new version of Shawn Michaels; he's the first and only version of Seth Rollins and Shawn could never have hoped to be that good in his prime, much-like his new "protégé" can't hope to hold a candle to him ever. Seth says he's tired of waiting and demands Breeze gets out here so he can lose to the best.

3.) Seth Rollins vs. Tyler Breeze w/ Shawn Michaels

This is a very good back-and-forth match, with a lot of close falls. Shawn, surprisingly enough, doesn't get involved physically at any point during the match. While the match is back-and-forth, Seth does appear to have a clear advantage throughout it, seeming to be just that little step ahead of Breeze for the most part. Tyler tries everything he can to get the win, from raking the eyes to grabbing the tights to even a low blow after pushing the official away. In the end, Seth proved to be too much for him and, after missing the Beauty Shot, he takes a kick to the knee, knocking him down, before Rollins capitalizes with a Curb Stomp for the victory.

Winner: Seth Rollins via Pinfall

After the match, Shawn slides into the ring to check on Tyler while Seth celebrates, unbeknownst to Rollins. He does more than check on his client, however, planting a Sweet Chin Music on Seth when the timing was right. Shawn helps Tyler up and the two head out, leaving Rollins out cold in the ring.

AJ Lee, Becky Lynch and Layla are seen backstage, going over the game-plan for their match in a little bit. Unlike their opponents, all three of them appear to be on the same page. AJ asks if the other two are ready and they both nod, before the three of them make their way to the entrance area.

---Commercial Break---

4.) AJ Lee, Becky Lynch & Layla vs. Alexa Bliss, Emma & Melina - 6 Woman Tag Team Match - Winning Team Faces Off Next Week For The ECW Vixen's Championship

As expected, AJ, Becky and Layla work very well together in this match while their opponents have a much harder time getting coordinated. The babyfaces dominate much of this match, until the heels resort to dirty tactics. Much-like the earlier tag team match, this one led to all six women in the ring at the same time, because tag matches can never happen without that. At the end of that spot, Becky and Layla do diving Cross Bodies from the top rope to the outside on to Alexa and Melina, respectively, while AJ simultaneously Suicide Dives onto Emma. Later in the match, as Becky is dominating Melina, while AJ, Layla and Alexa are all incapacitated for one reason or another, Emma gets a blind tag that Becky doesn't notice. Lynch ends up applying her Dis-Arm-Her submission finisher on Melina, but Emma drills her in the face with a very stiff knee strike and applies the Emma Lock with Becky tapping shortly after to pick up the win for her team.

Winners: Alexa Bliss, Emma & Melina via Submission

Backstage, Roman Reigns is seen stretching. He stops, as he notices someone approaching him. "Hey", the Samoan man says as the camera pans out to reveal John Cena. Cena responds with a hey of his own. He tells Roman that they've got one hell of a challenge tonight. He asks if Roman's up to it. Reigns grins and nods, saying of course he is. "Great", Cena replies, as he pats Roman on the shoulder, continuing to say that he's been in the ring with both Undertaker and Kane before, but never them together. He says that they're dangerous enough on their own, but they have plenty of experience working together, while Reigns and him don't have much of any. Reigns tells Cena to keep calm because they got this. He ain't afraid of no deadman or no demon. Cena grins, liking what he's hearing. He says he'll see Reigns out there.

---Commercial Break---

Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring and asks for a microphone while inside the ring. He says it's great to be here in the rebirth of ECW. He makes some jokes about the Stone Cold/Shane McMahon bit earlier in the night and then says that it's been a great return show, but you ain't seen nothin' yet, because he hasn't been out to steal the show yet. As he's about to continue on about him stealing the show, the lights go out. After a few seconds in the darkness, Bray Wyatt's theme song plays as he makes his way out with his lantern in hand. Bray makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring before blowing out the fire in his lantern and the lights turn back on. He has a microphone as he stares down Ziggler. He questions whether Ziggler is truly here to steal the show or simply here to brag about stealing a show that he'll never steal. Bray says that Dolph has always made claims of being the best and outshining everyone else day in and day out. He says it's laughable. He says the show is about to be stolen, but not by his athleticism. He says it's about to be stolen by the "Eater of Worlds" as he devours Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler makes a crack about Bray not having his family with him and asks if he has what it takes to survive on his own. Wyatt claims he doesn't need his brothers, as they're off fulfilling their duties elsewhere. He asks Dolph if he has any family to help him in these dark times. Ziggler says he doesn't, but, much-like Tyler Breeze found in Shawn Michaels, Ziggler has found a new endorsement of sorts. "WOOOOO!" echoes throughout the arena as the crowd goes ballistic with the sounds of Ric Flair's theme song. Flair makes his way to the ring, microphone in hand, and enters, before hugging Dolph. He starts off his speaking with a heart "WOOOOO!", much-like the one heard at the beginning of this theme song, and then he tells Bray that Dolph doesn't need family. He says he doesn't even need any endorsements, because he has something else; raw, pure talent. Bray asks Ric why he's here, then and Ric replies, stating that he wanted to be there to witness the great ascension of Dolph Ziggler. He lets out another "WOOOOO!", this one being right in Bray's face. Bray's response to this is simply a smile, which Flair doesn't even notice as he's too busy strutting about. He exits the ring to wait by ringside as an official heads in to regulate the upcoming match.

5.) Bray Wyatt vs. Dolph Ziggler w/ Ric Flair

Another excellent match, this one starting off slow and being dominated by Bray in the early going. Dolph attempts to make several comebacks throughout the match but is always cut short. His real comeback begins when he dodges a running Senton from Bray. Ziggler hits him with nearly everything he's got after that. From a very high angle Dropkick to the Fameasser to the Jumping DDT to ten very quick Elbow Drops, Dolph lands move after move, with some close call pins in between, but he's not able to put away Bray. Eventually, he calls for the Zig Zag, but Bray holds onto the top rope, causing Ziggler to bounce back. He quickly turns around and rushes into Dolph with a high impact running Cross Body. Instead of pinning, Bray lifts Dolph up and sets up for the Sister Abigail. He plants a kiss on Ziggler's forehead and goes for the move, but as he begins to spin, Dolph pulls himself free and spins right behind his opponent, into a Sleeper Hold. Ziggler even adds a body scissors as Bray starts to fade. Wyatt eventually regains his composure and backs up into a corner of the ring, causing Dolph's back to hit the turnbuckles, but he doesn't let go. Bray then rushes forwards and leaps into the air, performing a running Senton with Dolph crushed underneath him. Bray picks Dolph up and, again, sets up for the Sister Abigail, this time landing it to perfection for the win.

Winner: Bray Wyatt via Pinfall

---Commercial Break---

6.) Roman Reigns & John Cena vs. Brothers of Destruction

The Brothers of Destruction get a ridiculous pop while the Supermen of wrestling get more in the "get the fuck out here, you cunts" area of reactions. The Brothers dominate much of this match. Cena and Reigns, the masters of the comeback, against the Goddamn Brothers of Destruction? The hell do you expect? For a match where two old guys dominate, this ends up being really good, if not just for the supernatural feel of these two teams clashing. In the end, the comeback kids strike again. The Undertaker almost kills himself doing an over the top rope Suicide Dive, which misses (because Reigns and Cena dodge, not because Taker could barely do it, but that too). Kane, the legal man along with Cena, exits the ring to get John and throw him back in. He sets up for a Chokeslam, but Cena reverses it by transitioning behind Kane. He lifts him up for the AA, but Kane drops down behind Cena and pushes him forward, inadvertently into his corner, where Reigns blindtags in. Kane Big Boots Cena only to turn around and eat a huge Spear from Roman, who picks up the win, much to the crowd's dismay.

Winners: Roman Reigns & John Cena via Pinfall

After the match, Taker gets back in the ring and has a stare down with Reigns and Cena, as Kane slowly gets back up and joins the aforementioned stare down. Eventually, the two teams shake hands and Cena and Reigns leave as the Brothers of Destruction enjoy a lengthy applauding session from the crowd. After Cena and Reigns are completely gone and the Brothers are about to leave the ring, they turn towards the exit, only to be practically torn in half by a double Gore from Rhyno. ECW fans being ECW fans, naturally, lose their shit at this and chant "Gore! Gore! Gore!". Rhyno, still very clearly pissed off, looks down at the two Brothers of Destruction with hate in his eyes. He then looks around at the crowd and leaves, no explanation being given for his actions as the show comes to an end.

ECW Show #2

Glass shattering is heard and Stone Cold makes his way to the ring to start off the show. He talks about the return episode being a hell of a show but points out that there was a few problems, the main one being what happened just before the show went off the air. He asks Rhyno to come out. After a few seconds of silence, Rhyno's music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Stone Cold asks him what he thinks he was doing by attacking the Brothers of Destruction after their match. Rhyno stays silent. Naturally, this annoys Austin, who asks him again and still gets no response. He tells Rhyno to look, while calling him a sumbitch, and says that if he's gonna be walking around causing chaos on this show, it's gonna be him. Suddenly, Rhyno cracks a smile. Stone Cold chuckles lightly at this, asking him what's so damn funny. Without warning, The War Machine bolts forward, crashing into Stone Cold with a huge Gore. With the co-General Manager down, Rhyno picks up his microphone and claims that the land of extreme belongs to him. He drops the microphone and exits the arena, as Stone Cold slowly pulls himself to his knees with the help of the ropes, looking out at Rhyno angrily.

---Commercial Break---

1.) Dolph Ziggler w/ Ric Flair vs. Tyler Breeze w/ Shawn Michaels

As expected, a very good opening match. There was a lot of verbal back and forth going on between Ric and Shawn during the bout as Dolph and Tyler fought back and forth, seemingly able to come up with a counter for most of their opponent's moves on the fly. Many signature moves were hit, a lot of close counts were counted and, at one point, Ziggler even got a small cut on his forehead from a series of Headbutts he did to Tyler. Late in the match, Breeze sets up for a Superplex, but Ziggler blocks it and manages to knock Tyler onto the canvas, although he lands on his feet. Dolph quickly stood up on the middle rope and dived into his signature leaping DDT, getting far more impact from it than usual, but Breeze managed to kick out of the following pin attempt. Even later, an exchanging of moves happens that leads to Breeze nailing Dolph with a Superkick, only for Dolph to briefly no sell, land his own Superkick, and then they both drop to the canvas due to exhaustion. In the end, Breeze goes for the Unprettier, but after managing to set it up with Ziggler hooked behind him, Dolph slides free and lands the Zig Zag for the one, two, three.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler w/ Ric Flair via Pinfall

After the match, Shawn checks on Tyler to make sure he's alright. Out of nowhere, Seth Rollins bursts into the ring and drills Shawn over the head with a steel chair, proceeding to repeatedly ram it into his sides afterwards, as Tyler slowly recovers. With Rollins shouting at Shawn about Michaels being jealous of him and never being as good as he is, Breeze gets back to his feet and looks to attack Seth from behind, but Rollins quickly spins around and cracks Tyler over the head with the steel chair. He drops the chair and exits, leaving the two out cold.

---Commercial Break---

Reigns and Cena are seen backstage, talking to each other. They complement one another for their performances last week, but are interrupted by Shane McMahon. Shane informs them that an ECW Heavyweight Champion must be crowned soon and that he's using one of ECW's two matches for Extreme Rules to decide the champion. He says Reigns and Cena are in luck, as they'll be involved in the qualifiers next week for a Fatal Four-Way Falls Count Anywhere Match at Extreme Rules to decide the first champion. This comes with some bad news, however, as their opponents for their respective qualifying matches will be ... each other. Shane grins before walking off, leaving Cena and Reigns in a stare-down.

---Commercial Break---

2.) Bray Wyatt vs. Darren Young

Absolute squash match. Darren didn't stand a chance. He got a few elbow shots in, but that's about it. Bray hit the Sister Abigail for the pinfall victory.

Winner: Bray Wyatt via Pinfall

After the match, Bray threw Darren out of the ring and got a microphone. He announces that Shane McMahon told him he'll be having a qualifier match next week for a shot at the ECW Heavyweight Championship. He says he's dealt with both Reigns and Cena before, so he knows exactly what he's getting himself into. He says ECW is no longer the land of extreme as the industry has been brought down to the most mundane of levels, but he looks to change that when he becomes the "King of Extreme". Bray drops the microphone and falls down to his knees, shouting for the world to follow the buzzards.

---Commercial Break---

The Lucha Dragons are backstage with an interviewer whom asks them what it's like to be the first ECW Tag Team Champions of the rebirth. Kalisto gives a generic babyface speech about it being great and how proud of his of himself and Sin Cara. The interviewer then asks who they'd rather battle again at Extreme Rules, the Uso's or Enzo and Cass. Cara tells him that they don't have any preferences because they're gonna tear the house down with whichever team wins. The interviewer says he's got one more thing to say. He was told by co-general manager Shane McMahon to inform them that their match at Extreme Rules, be it against the Uso's or Enzo and Cass, is going to be an Eliminated Tables Match. Sin and Kalisto seem excited or as excited as they can seem behind masks.

3.) Sasha Banks vs. Layla

This was a good, albeit somewhat short match that was dominated mostly throughout by Sasha. Layla got a few comebacks started but Banks was always able to put a stop to them through the usage of dirty tactics such as eye poking. Just when it looked like Layla was getting some momentum going her way, Sasha ducked under a Roundhouse Kick, popping up behind Layla and landing her Backstabber/Modified Crossface submission finisher, the Bank Statement. Layla held on for a little bit before tappng out.

Winner: Sasha Banks via Submission

Backstage, Stone Cold is angrily making his way through the backstage asking where "the hell" he is. Of course, he's talking about Rhyno. He asks a few random workers where Rhyno is, with none having an answer. Eventually he tells one of them to find Rhyno and inform him that he's got a match tonight against Kane.

---Commercial Break---

4.) Enzo & Cass vs. Uso's - ECW Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match

While not as exciting as last week's triple threat tag team match, this one was pretty good. It was a very evenly fought match with both teams getting in a good amount of offense. Enzo and Cass almost took the win a few times, only for the other Uso to break up the pin. With Jimmy and Cassady as the legal men, Jimmy nailed Cass with a Superkick, before Enzo attempted to take him out via Cactus Clothesline, but Jimmy ducked and Back Body Dropped Amore out of the ring. He then ran across the ring and rebounded off of the ropes, followed by him doing an over the top rope Suicide Dive, with Jey blind tagging Jimmy mid-air. He ascends the turnbuckles and does a diving Splash onto Cassady for the pin.

Winners: Uso's via Pinfall

AJ Lee, Layla and Becky Lynch are talking backstage. They discuss last week's loss, but don't seem too tense about it. Becky seems sure they'll all get another chance. Layla and Becky walk off, leaving behind AJ, until Sasha Banks steps up to her. "Another chance?", she asks, before continuing to ask where her first chance was. AJ tells Sasha that it was Shane's decision to keep her out of the match last week, to which Sasha replies with a slight laugh. She then slaps the taste out of AJ's mouth before informing her that she's the boss of ECW. AJ looks up at her with rage, but just as she was about to strike back, Becky and Layla run back into the shot, holding her back. Sasha smiles and walks away.

---Commercial Break---

5.) Rhyno vs. Kane

This match is about what you'd expect, two big guys just slugging it out. Very physical stuff with both men doing their damage. It doesn't last too long, although it's not a three minute squash either. Kane ends up going for a Chokeslam, but Rhyno showcases his strength by pulling Kane's hand off of his throat and then kicking him in the gut. With Kane groggy, Rhyno turns around and runs to the ropes. He rebounds off of them and ducks under a Big Boot attempt from Kane, continuing to run until he hits the opposing ropes. He ricochets off of these and drills into Kane with a Gore for the victory.

Winner: Rhyno via Pinfall

After the match, "You're Gonna Pay" hits as The Undertaker makes his way onto the stage in his American Badass attire. Naturally, the audience loses every ounce of their shit at this. He makes his way to the ring as Rhyno welcomes him with a fighting stance. Eventually, Taker gets in the squared circle and the two exchange shots. They have a fairly even fight until it spills to the outside. The two continue to go at it, tossing each other about, until staff rush down and try to separate them. It takes quite a bit of staff and even some wrestlers to eventually split the two.

---Commercial Break---

6.) Alexa Bliss vs. Emma vs. Melina - ECW Vixen's Championship

Sasha Banks comes out for commentary pre-match. These three women put on an absolutely amazing main event that, at multiple times, could've ended with any of them winning. Alexa and Emma do a bit of teaming up throughout this match, considering Melina rubbed them the wrong way last week, but when it comes down to actually getting the fall, their partnership dissolved quickly. Some of the high moments of this match include Alexa doing a top rope variation of her usually-standing Moonsault Double Knee Stomp onto Melina, Emma doing a Double Underhook Suplex from the apron to the outside onto Alexa and Melina doing a diving Spear from the top rope to both women, simultaneously. Speaking of doing a move simultaneously, Emma ends up getting the victory in a dominant fashion as she applies the Emma Lock onto both opponents at the same time; entwining her right leg with Melina's left and her left leg with Alexa's right, bending backwards and wrapping one arm around both women's heads and yanking back on both at the same time. Melina and Alexa try to fight through the pain, but they both end up tapping out at the same time and giving the victory to Emma.

Winner: Emma via Submission

As Emma celebrates with the championship, Sasha enters the ring and gives her a round of applause before offering a handshake. Emma is hesitant to accept it at first, but eventually does. This proves to be a mistake almost immediately as Sasha pulls Emma in by the hand and attacks her. This beat-down lasts for a short time before AJ Lee rushes into the ring to make the save. Sasha hightails it out of there, with a smile on her face, as AJ checks on Emma, who was laid out. Emma, upon noticing someone touching her and thinking it was still Banks, rams her elbow into Lee's face. This doesn't sit well with AJ, who takes a few steps back, rubbing where she just got elbowed and then running at Emma and drilling her with a Shining Wizard. As AJ gets back to her feet, Sasha re-enters the ring behind her and connects with a Backstabber transitioned into a modified Crossface to apply her Bank Statement finisher. She keeps this applied as AJ struggles to get out, before eventually releasing it, leaving AJ gasping for breath. Sasha picks up the Vixen's Championship and poses with it as ECW goes off the air.

[I assume this is the final show before Extreme Rules, according to the dates of the previous two shows. I don't have an ECW Television Champion yet, but there wasn't room for it on this card and I don't have any more matches left for Extreme Rules, so I hope I'm allowed to crown that on the ECW following Extreme Rules.)
