Lol I'm not really gonna call this World Clown Federation.
But it's basically gonna be a Clown Town so might as well leave that as the thread title.
Here's what I'm going to do with my Universe Mode though:
We are in March 23, 2001. WWF not only bought out WCW but also every other wrestling company to become the only wrestling company in the world. They have the right to sign any wrestler in the world immediately and will be having a draft + expand to 4 brands that air from Monday to Thursday (Raw, Smackdown, Nitro & ECW). This will all occur immediately after WrestleMania and until then they had a bunch of promos of potential new superstars in their previous company. A massive cut-back on active 2001 wrestlers has been made in order to upgrade the talent. They have now also changed up their PPV schedule (to basically what it is today; at least in WWE 2K + whatever I add) and matches like the Elimination Chamber and MITB ladder match will be treated as new ideas and first-time matches when I start.
Everything in WWF/WWE after March 23, 2001 has never existed but the wrestlers that weren't on WWF/WCW/ECW around this time will be in their present day form despite being back in 2001. The WWF & WCW wrestlers from 2000 will all be in their 2000 form (The Rock, Stone Cold, Chris Jericho, Goldberg, Sting, Booker T etc.).
Guys like John Cena, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk & Brock Lesnar have never accomplished anything in the WWF but will be at their present day level/talent so it's possible that I'll have them pushed very quickly and what not. Anything that superstars have accomplished outside of WWE/WCW/ECW even up to this past year will be considered as if it actually happened & that company actually existed (if it didn't) before March 2001.
So yeah it's like definitely a major fantasy type of situation. It's like cramming a bunch of wrestling history together, moving it all into the past and then starting basically fresh from 2001 onwards. Some things that were currently going on in March 2001 in WWF (storylines and whatever) will be considered while most things will just be ignored. Since nothing in WWE has ever happened, there's definitely feuds that I'll be repeating and past teams/relationships that I'll be using as if it's the first time it's happening.
I'm not sure how much I'll actually write about this. Most likely just posting match results with a few important things in more detail.
