So, each team gets to keep 5 players. They will lose their draft picks for the new draft based on when their keepers were drafted, regardless of which team drafted them. So, if a player was drafted round 3, they lose their third round pick. If they have more than one player taken from a certain round (say two players who were drafted in round 3 that they keep) they'd lose that round and the following round (rounds 3 and 4 in this case). If they keep any players who were not drafted at all in the previous year, those count for the very last round.

In order to select your keepers, go to "My Team" in the league page on Yahoo and then "Keepers" at the top. You can adjust the 5 you choose as many times as you want until they're locked in, which will be a few days before the draft itself (still undecided).

If you have the #1 overall pick, you can keeper someone else and pick your 1st round pick 1st overall is what he’s saying.
