Ok so after a crazy amount of attempts, I finally got the league randomized evenly. Each team plays everyone in their division twice. Then they play three teams from the other division twice and two teams from the other division 3 times. The only 2 people I play 3 times are Mexi & Dead... who were two of the most competitive teams last year. Rivalry Week is week 10 in this as well. Some pretty interesting rivalries.

| Three of the week 1 games are the same as the rivalry week games, with only 2 being different, tbh.
I got Caleb, tho, as my week 1 opponent/rival. GET SOME, CALEB
(He's gonnna likely get a lot. Of points. Compared to me.) |

Yeah I just realized that the schedules are basically in a consistent pattern (maybe since teams are playing each other multiple times it's always done like that). So much for randomizing it though. The main point of randomizing it (aside from evening out divisional games) was to get the schedules to be more scattered around. However, it takes an eternity to get it to the point where each division team plays each other the same amount of times so oh well.

Oh and the East is sooo much tougher than the West. People who don't know anything about basketball (Moose, Snoopz & Ian) are in the West.

I've done one mock draft as "preparation" but I'm ready to go. I might do one more before the draft starts to think more about when I want to target certain players or positions. Otherwise I'll just wing it.

You know, I was just thinking... I might've pulled a page out of the FF Smurfville Bliggas playbook in this year's basketball league. Reason: Lots of injury prone guys especially taking The Brow where I did in the 1st round (the thing is, if he stays healthy I think he'll pay off tremendously... but someone like Cousins or KAT might've been safer & just as good if not better). Then there's also guys like Griffin & Knight who I took that have some injury concerns and also D. Rose (but that was a late lottery pick anyway). But aside from potential injuries, my team is LEGIT. I won't guarantee going undefeated again but it is time to repeat.

Do people on the bench count for their team's points in Fantasy Basketball? Because Caleb has C.J. McCollum on his bench, according to our match-up screen, but his 37 points are counted in Caleb's score. I'd still be losing regardless, but not by as much, tbh.

McCollum played yesterday and Caleb had him in his starting lineup. You gotta check it day by day. And btw, you left Nurkic & Frazier on your bench today when you could have started them. That's 84 total points left on your bench, tbh. NEW PEOPLE READ THIS... People who are new to fantasy basketball: When you're in "My Team" setting your lineup, make sure you check every day in the matchup from Monday to Sunday and set your lineup for each individual day. It lets you know which players are playing that day or not and you always want to start as many players that are actually playing as possible.

So, this is what Ian was saying about not wanting to update his team every day. If I knew about all this, I wouldn't have joined the league, tbh.

You don't have to update it every day. You just need to update the 7 days on like Sunday/Monday for the rest of the week. It's the same thing as football basically. For better results on start/bench decisions, you can check in every day, but that's also the case with the football league really.

Not to mention when I was doing my line up a couple days ago there was an option to press a button that just inserts my best line up. I've never understood why people try to claim fantasy basketball is so time consuming Aside from watching game updates, I'm pretty sure I never spent more than like 10 minutes a week on it lol. Side notes: If Davis keeps his shit up, and if Blake isn't beating up his own staff, the Bliggas may have their way with us yet again. Though Ian's team looks good for someone who Burdur said doesn't follow basketball.

Ian's team was auto-picked for him. Maybe he has a shot now. (if he did pre-draft rankings then fair enough ) But yeah, fantasy basketball is only slightly more time consuming than football. Like I'm talking by a matter of a few minutes at most. I'm not sure if Ian knows you can update each individual day one by one at the start of the week so you don't even have to look at your team more than once a week if you don't want to. Anyway, what I love about fantasy basketball is that there's so many more updates on scores because there's so many games every day & so many different stats that the scoring is based on (my football team sometimes doesn't score a single point in hours... ). It's actually fun to keep checking back on while the games are being played.

I'm glad I read this thread, I had guys on my bench that could've started on wednesday. I like my team. They're not gonna be the best but I think I'll put up a fight.

Since adding a few different players to my computer-drafted team, I had the third most points in the league last two weeks and, at the moment, the second most points this week. I may have had a chance in this league if I didn't miss the draft. Of course, with how shit the West Division is doing, I can still win the division.

I've been trying. I just had a bad start with a computer-drafted team. I made some changes, tho, and have been starting all my active players a week in advance.

People will give more shits when the NFL is over. Idk what Mexi's been doing with that trash though but he's able to lead the West at the moment.

What does the NFL have to do w/ people giving a shit about their FB team? Most people playing have probably been eliminated from doing anything in their FF leagues anyways.
