The sequel to Jurassic World will begin filming early next year. Jurassic Outpost and Reel News Hawaii report that the upcoming film, which will be directed by J.A. Bayona, will begin production in Hawaii in February of 2017. Location shooting on the island will make up a portion of the film’s production, with the majority of the filming taking place in London.
The film is written by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly and will see Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard reprise their roles from last year’s hit. It is set for release on June 22nd, 2018.
