Rellim Strife vs. Takumi Sanu Empty
PostSubject: Re: Rellim Strife vs. Takumi Sanu   Rellim Strife vs. Takumi Sanu EmptySat Sep 28, 2013 4:53 pm

Our next match will be contested under traditional rules as Rellim Strife takes on Takumi Sanu. These two have a bit of a history together, having faced off twice before in Tag Team Championship contests. Whilst Rellim, teaming with his partner Razor Xtreme, gained the win in their first encounter, it was Takumi, teaming up with his former partner Dominik Diveraz, to get the win and the Championships in round two. Since losing the titles, Rellim and Razor have remained friends and partners. The same cannot be said for Takumi and Dominik, as the Mexican superstar turned his back on his Japanese friend one week after they won the gold, leading to a loser leaves town match that will happen at King of Xtreme. This should be an interesting match, nevertheless, as Takumi is forced to wear a knee brace due to injuries sustained at Endure during the Tag Team Ladder Match that were made worse by a post-match beat-down at the hands of Rellim and Razor. Sanu will look to end this one quickly, so he won't damage that leg even more, as he won't be getting a break next week. Instead, he'll be facing the World Heavyweight Champion in a non-title match that was requested by the Champion himself. If he manages to survive tonight and next week, he'll have one week left to rest before his career-threatening match at King of Xtreme. With revenge on Rellim's mind, for Takumi taking his Tag Team Championships, will he focus on the injured leg of the Champion? XWA official Ryu Sanu, no relation to Takumi, calls for the bell to be rung thrice and for the match to officially start.

DING! DING! DING!

The two men begin circling one another in the ring, slowly inching closer to each other as every second passes. Just as Takumi shoots in for a Collar-and-Elbow Tie-Up, Rellim dodges to the side and responds with a stern kick to his opponent's right leg. It's already being made clear what Rellim's gameplan is; go after the injury. Especially considering one of Takumi's finishing moves is the Hizakeri, a Busaiku Knee Kick, it'd be hard for him to pull that off with a bum knee. Rellim lands a second kick to his opponent's knee, this one causing him to drop down on his left knee. He then begins stomping away at the back of Sanu's right leg, before grabbing him by the ankle and yanking, as hard as he can, upward before slamming his opposition's knee hard into the canvas. Takumi lets out a little yell as he holds onto his knee. Ryu checks on the fallen superstar, but Rellim pushes the official out of the way before getting onto his knees and pounding away with punches to the right leg of his adversary. Following this vicious assault, Rellim hops back up to his feet and extends his arms out to pose for the audience, whom simply reply with boos.

Rellim goes to lift his opponent back to a vertical base, but Takumi pushes him away. He quickly hops back to his feet before landing a Spinning Heel Kick that causes even more damage to his right knee in the process. Nevertheless, the audience cheers as Takumi goes for the early cover. One—Kickout! Now it's Takumi lifting his opposition to his feet, but as Rellim reaches his knees, he lands a quick hook shot to Takumi's knee, causing him to stumble backwards, holding his knee in pain. Sanu stumbles backwards into the ropes and Strife runs at him, but the Japanese superstar quickly ducks down, pulling the top rope with him and causing Rellim to fly to the outside of the ring. As he hits hard on the floor next to the ring, Rellim slowly tries to pull himself back to a vertical base. Little does he know, Takumi is waiting for him. The smaller wrestler grabs a hold of the top rope before vaulting over top of it to the outside with a huge Cross Body! Takumi clearly hurts his leg a bit on the landing, but the move is effective.

After the official reaches a count of three, both men have made it back to their feet. Slowly, but steadily, Takumi limps his way over to Rellim, only for the ever-so-opportunistic superstar to sharply kick his opponent in the knee once more. With Takumi focused on the pain in his knee right now, Rellim thinks of what he should do next before coming up with an idea. He gets on the side of his opponent before grabbing him the leg and lifting him into the air, only to drop his knee hard onto the security barricade with an innovative Shin Breaker! Takumi drops to the floor as Ryu reaches a count of six and Rellim quickly slides into the ring, looking for a countout victory. Takumi stirs on the floor, holding onto his knee in pain, as Ryu continues his count. By the time Ryu has reached eight, the Japanese wrestler makes it to his feet. Nine! With a sudden burst of life, Takumi jumps into the ring, under the bottom rope.

Rellim immediately goes on the attack, stomping all over his body before dropping to his knees and pounding on him with forearms and punches to the back and head. Ryu forces himself in between the two and causes some separation before allowing Takumi some time to get back to his feet in the corner of the ring. As soon as Sanu is standing, Rellim rushes straight towards him, leaping into the air and looking for a Stinger Splash, but Takumi moves out of the way just in time as Strife goes head-first into the top turnbuckle. Takumi quickly runs with a limp to the opposing side of the ring before running back at Rellim. He leaps into the air, attempting his finishing Busaiku Knee Kick dubbed the Hizakeri! Rellim dodges to the side, however, and now it's Takumi going into the top turnbuckle, albeit knee-first! The Japanese superstar lets out a yell of pain as he holds his right knee, which has suffered even more damage at the hands of Rellim.

Slowly but surely, Rellim crawls onto his opposition for a pin attempt. One! Two! Thr—Kickout at two and a half! Slamming his fist off of the canvas in frustration, Rellim is clearly upset that that wasn't it. Nevertheless, he lifts Takumi back to his feet before applying a Front Chancery and raising Sanu into the air, looking for a Brainbuster! Takumi, using his left knee, drills Rellim in the head, causing him to loosen his grip just enough for Sanu to drop down in front of the American wrestler. Quickly, Takumi snaps off a beautiful Roundhouse Kick that knocks Rellim straight down. As the audience cheers, Takumi takes a few steps back, measuring up his opponent for a second attempt at the Hizakeri! Suddenly, the audience's cheers turn to jeers as Takumi finds himself being distracted.
"Aye, puta! Over here!" shouts Dominik Diveraz from the entrance ramp. With Takumi distracted, Rellim quickly comes up from behind him and applies a Full Nelson, looking to land his modified Facebuster finisher dubbed The End! Perhaps going on instincts, Takumi manages to slide himself free however and he quickly trips his opponent before applying the Kao O Wataru; his finishing Crossface!

The audience erupts in cheers as Rellim may be moments away from tapping, much to the chagrin of Dominik. He shouts out various things from ringside, trying to distract Takumi, but to no avail. The Japanese wrestler simply keeps the hold applied with as much pressure as he can. Being nowhere near the ropes, Rellim doesn't appear to have much choice but to tap out at this point. Dominik looks on, worried. Not for Rellim, but for the fact that his now-despised former partner might be picking up a big win tonight that will give him some momentum heading into King of Xtreme in a few weeks. Rellim raises his hand into the air, preparing to tap out to his opponent's hold, when suddenly a loud SMACK is heard. The smack was from Dominik hitting Takumi over the back with a steel chair! Ryu calls for the bell to be rung, signaling a disqualification finish.

DING! DING! DING!

Dominik continues slamming the steel chair down onto Takumi's back as Ryu tries to force a separation, to no avail. Diveraz simply turns around and drills the official in the head with the chair, before going back to work on Takumi by now attacking his weakened leg with the chair. After a few chair shots to the weak leg, Dominik tears the knee brace off of his former partner and opens the chair up just enough to slide Sanu's leg into the chair, closing it around his knee. He takes a few steps back, with a sadistic grin on his face. Dominik runs forward before leaping into the air and bringing his foot down onto the chair, crunching it on his former partner's leg! The audience boos heavily as Takumi lets out screams of pain and anguish. Dominik exits the ring and makes his way to the back, a satisfied smile on his face, as the show fades to a commercial break.
