Guns N' Roses guitarist DJ Ashba was reportedly involved in an altercation relating to an e-cigarette over the weekend.
According to TMZ (via NME), Ashba who was in attendance at the Las Vegas's Planet Hollywood, watching singer Romeo Santos perform, got into a fight with another clubber over an e-cigarette that the musician was smoking. Security escorted all those from the premises.
Ashba is said to have been deemed the innocent party in the altercation by police, while the man and his girlfriend have been charged with misdemeanour battery.
Last month, Ashba claimed that Guns N' Roses are currently on hiatus, but that he is ready to return to performing when he gets the call from frontman Axl Rose: "I've got his back whenever he needs me. Ever since I joined GN'R six years ago, it's almost been non-stop touring. But we've kind of talked of more touring, and I'm looking at this more as a hiatus than the end."
Recently, former Guns N' Roses members Slash and Duff McKagan have both stated that they would be "open" to reforming the band's classic line-up. Meanwhile, current guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal has implied that he might have exited the group, although he notes that he has been asked "not to make any public statements on the matter."
