| The Wonder Woman solo film has lost its director due to a difference in vision between the director and studio. The studio said in a statement that Michelle MacLaren will not direct the superhero film and acknowledged creative differences, saying, “Given creative differences, Warner Bros. and Michelle MacLaren have decided not to move forward with plans to develop and direct Wonder Woman together.”
Gal Gadot is still starring as Wonder Woman of course, with Jason Fuchs set to write the film.
The studio was in the midst of preproduction on the film and casting other roles. It was set to be released on June 23rd, 2017 but this change could conceivably will force a date change. |

| All I'm asking for is that they stay true to the character and make a good movie. WW is a very underrated character. |

| It's either good that they're sticking with a specific vision or incredibly bad as this vision is horrid and the director refuse to do it, so he quit. We will find out which eventually. |
