Evan Flare vs. Shade Empty
PostSubject: Re: Evan Flare vs. Shade   Evan Flare vs. Shade EmptySat Aug 31, 2013 9:56 pm

Shade and Evan Flare stare across the squared circle at each other. Each man has something they want to demonstrate here tonight. Evan lost last week to Minkaro, a wrestler from 2WWF much like Shade, therefore Evan needs to prove he cannot be beaten by yet another ex-2WWF combatant. As for Shade, he modestly lost last week to someone he believed to be pathetic, and now he’s up against an even harder challenge – thus he cannot let himself lose to Evan. Unnecessary to say, one man will leave this ring dissatisfied. Shade raises his hand to both motion and taunt Evan to come towards him. This simply causes Evan to smirk, but he chooses to go for it. The two men tie up in the classic collar-and-elbow tie up. In spite of being the larger man, Shade succeeds in getting behind the former Cruiser-X Champion, applying a waistlock instantaneously. “The Ultimate Synner” picks Evan up and then relinquishes the hold, just to change it to a bear hug. Not being the slightest fatigued though, Evan is swift to wiggle out of the hold and break it. He counters by applying an arm wrench to Shade, causing the maniac to shriek in pain. This fuels Shade’s anger however, as he wraps his other hand around his opponent’s neck and hoists him high into the air to nail a malicious chokeslam!

*The crowd explodes in excitement for this back-and-forth action occurring. Despite not liking Shade, it seems as if everyone watching is in for a good match tonight.*

Ted Cedar: “We’re seeing a lot of amazing things going on and the match just started. Neither man wants to lose this week, seeing as they both lost last week.”

Adam Dennis: “This is going to turn into one of those ‘YAY!’ … ‘BOO!’ matches isn’t it?”

Shade doesn’t go for the pin just yet. He wants to make sure that Evan suffers a little bit more, all because Shade likes seeing people in pain; he waits for Evan to recover. Once Evan shakes all the cobwebs loose, so to speak, the New York native grabs him and sends him across the ring with an Irish whip. On the rebound back, Evan surprises Shade by jumping into the air with a powerful [/I]dropkick[/I]. Shade is sent flying across the ring as Evan stands back up and goes after him. But Shade has another plan in mind as he kicks Evan square in the shin while he’s running. Evan falls through the top and middle ropes and lands heads-first on the padded mat around the ring. The referee begins the ten count. By the time he reaches three, “The Terror of Death” is standing up. He refuses to go after Evan because a win, no matter how cheap, is still a win. Evan begins to show signs of life around the seventh count. It seems as if Evan hit his head harder than originally thought because he is unable to return into the ring, giving Shade the victory.

DING DING DING!

*Everyone hates the outcome of this match. It had potential, yet nothing particularly good happened.*

Adam Dennis: “Well this was… disappointing.”

Ted Cedar: “Agreed.”

Evan Flare vs. Shade Empty

DING DING DING

The two men walk toward each other and lunge outward and lock each other in a collar-and-elbow tie-up. The tie-up is quickly transitioned into a Hammerlock as Shade works quickly to take control of Flare's right arm. Flare motions his left arm backward and works it between Shade's left arm and his body and pulls his grip away from his right arm. Flare turns sharply and reverses the Hammerlock into a Hammerlock of his own, as he moves his hands into position and turns around Shade. Shade reaches back with his right hand and pulls Flare's hair in attempt to get him to release the hold. When Flare doesn't, Shade throws his head back violently and smashes it into Flare's face, releasing the hold and knocking him backward as he turns and stumbles away with both hands covering his mouth checking for blood.

Shade turns around and follows Flare. With both hands he pulls Flare's left arm down and pushes him into the ropes before using that momentum to Irish Whip him. Flare bounces off the ropes and returns to Shade who connects with a jumping leg lariat that knocks Flare down to his back as Shade collides with the mat himself upon his fall. Shade turns to his stomach and pushes himself up off the ground as Flare rolls to the ropes and uses the ropes to help him regain his footing. As he gets up and turns, he gets struck with a right-hand from Shade that knocks him backward into the turnbuckle. Shade again positions both hands on Flare's left arm and throws him for an Irish Whip, but this time Flare plants his feet and throws Shade instead. Flare is not far behind, in a run himself. As Shade turns and collides with the turnbuckle, Flare collides with him, connecting with a right-armed clothesline.

Flare turns to his right and hooks his left arm under Shade's left arm and throws him for a hip toss. Shade lands on the mat with an echoing thud as his upper body comes off the mat. In a seated position he grabs at his back for a second. Flare sprints toward him and kicks him in the back. The sound it creates echos through the arena. Shade grabs at his back, this time higher up, as Flare picks him up by the head. Flare irish whips him into the ropes and he returns and catches a dropkick from Flare right to the face. Both men hit the mat with some force, but Flare's definitely made more impact. Flare dives on top of Shade and tries for a pin, but only manages a 1 count before Shade throws Flare off of him.

Both men get to their feet in short time but Flare is up slightly quicker and therefore maintains control as he restarts his offense with a simple right hand knocking Shade backward. Flare runs the ropes and returns, leaping into the air for a Crossbody. Instead, he's caught by Shade who turns it into a bodyslam. As Flare's back collides with the mat, Shade drops down to the floor and hits Flare with an elbow. Shade is quickly back to his feet and brings Flare along with him, with a firm grip on Flare's hair. Shade wraps his hand around Flare's face as if he were palming a basketball and walks Flare toward the corner before shoving him into the turnbuckle. As Flare hits the turnbuckle, his arms drop around the rope so he is defenseless as Shade follows it up with a left-elbow to the face.

Shade grabs the ropes on either side of Flare and uses them as a means to create more momentum, as he throws his shoulder into Flare's midsection repeatedly. Flare bounces away from the corner as Shade relinquishes his position in part because of the consistent hounding by the referee. Flare falls to the ground and rests with his back against the middle turnbuckle. Shade turns and walks toward the opposite corner. The referee says something to Flare, effectively distracting him. Shade sprints back and connects with a jumping dropkick, sending Flare's head snapping backward. Shade gets to his feet and leans over, grabbing Flare by the legs. He pulls him out of the corner and goes for a pin attempt, but gets only a one before Flare fights out.

The Ultimate Synner picks Flare up once more by the hair, this time with some malice in his eyes. Shade knees him in the stomach and pulls him in into DDT position, looking for his marquee maneuver, but Flare fights him off with right hands. Flare puts both hands on Shade's shoulders and pushes him into the ropes. He grabs Shade's left hand and throws him for an Irish Whip, but Shade plants his feet strategically and sends Flare instead, reversing the attempt. Flare sprints into the ropes and returns. Shade attempts a clothesline but Flare blocks it. Flare leaps into the air, grabbing the top rope with both hands and planting both feet on the middle rope as he turns his body to one side and shoots himself backward with a springboard Crossbody, but is hit with a dropkick to the midsection instead.

Shade strolls toward Flare and picks him up again, but Flare discards Shade's arm, seemingly over his kick as he runs the rops and returns. He jumps into the air, turning his back to Shade as he throws his legs backward on either side of him. Shade catches his legs and helps support them. Flare's hands bounce off the ground and throw him back up, bending at the knees as if to grab Shade, but he can't as he falls back down to the ground landing with his palms facing out in wheelbarrow position. Shade kicks him in the stomach and it echos through the arena. In a quick, fluid motion, Shade throws his body backwards and connects with the Enjoy the Silence (Snap Wheelbarrow Suplex). Flare's back collides with the mat as his head snaps backward and his body slides further away toward and under the ropes on one side of the ring.

Flare grabs at his back, and as he turns to his side he realizes he's about to fall out of the ring. He panics a bit, but it seems to awaken him. Flare grabs the bottom rope and brings himself to a seated position as Shade looks on from the ring. Flare uses the top rope to pull himself to a vertical base, and Shade charges forward in a sprint, only to catch a shoulder to the midsection as Flare sees it coming. It knocks Shade backward, spinning 180 degrees as he clutches at his stomach. Flare gathers himself and grabs the top rope. He uses them to add his jump, as he leaps up to the top rope to try another springboard maneuver, but misses the ropes and lands on his stomach on the top rope as Shade falls backward, anticipating something of the sort.

Shade is quickly back to his feet, seeing his opportunity. He screams out “FUCKING BLASPHEMY” as he grabs Flare around the neck, looking for his signature rope-hung DDT. He pulls Flare away from the ropes, looking to put him in a better position as he's too balanced on the rope to make contact with the mat. Flare's right leg comes to a resting position on the top rope, but Flare's left leg is pulled over the top rope as he falls from the top rope and Shade misses his opportunity. In the same motion Flare pulls his right leg away as well. Flare comes to a planted position as Shade remains in a state of surprise. Flare wraps his arms around Shade and uses his powerful legs to drive Shade all the way across the ring and into the turnbuckle. Shade doesn't break his grip, however. Flare tries for a shoulder to the midsection but can't get the proper momentum. Flare pulls him away from the turnbuckle and throws Shade backward, connecting with a Bridging Suplex pin attempt. Shade throws his shoulder off the canvas at 2.

With his grip now broken, Evan rolls away from Shade, but doesn't get back to his feet. He crawls back toward Shade and brings him up to a seated position. Flare starts throwing wild 12-to-6 elbows into the neck area of Shade. The first few Shade tries to defend but as the amount of strikes starts to pile up he offers less of a defense; only a sheepish right hand that he's got clutched to his neck and shoulder area. After 12 strikes, Flare stops his assault, but doesn't allow Shade to drop to the mat. Flare presses down on Shade's shoulders to help him get to a vertical base, and he pulls Shade up with him. Flare wraps his right arm around Shade and connects with a Side Suplex, leaving Shade seemingly unconscious on the mat. Flare is immediately back up to his feet and walks over to the turnbuckle. He uses the top rope to leap up to the top rope. He takes a few seconds to gather himself, before leaping off and connecting with the Southern Arrow double-foot-stomp into the midsection of Shade.

If Shade was unconscious before, he isn't now, as his screams could wake the dead. He writhes in pain, squirming on the mat with a firm clutch on his stomach. Flare drops to the mat and goes for a cover, hooking the outside leg. The referee slides into position, but Shade kicks out at a one, perhaps only to relieve himself from Flare's weight on his midsection. Flare is thrown off of Shade and backs away as Shade tries to gather himself. After a moment, Shade rolls to the the ropes and uses them to prop himself up. Flare charges in a sprint and jumps into the air, going almost completely horizontal going for a Sick Kick., but Shade dodges the kick by dropping to his back and bring the top rope down with him. Flare flails his arms around in a panic but manages to gather his thoughts quickly enough to turn to his stomach, before dropping ten feet to the ground, using his hands to cushion the blow. He stays down, though, clutching at his knees which took a healthy chunk of the collision as well.

Shade gathers himself in the ring as Flare does on the outside. Shade sees another opportunity. He runs the ropes in the opposite direction looking to gain momentum .He returns, looking for a suicide dive, but is caught off guard by Flare who hits a modified version of his front-feed enzuiguri, using the apron as the plant. The kick rocks Shade's head backward as it lands solidly on his chin, but even the extreme upward momentum won't stop Shade's forward momentum, as he clumsily falls out of the ring and onto the floor, essentially breaking the referees count, but the referee isn't slow to start a new one.

After five seconds, Flare picks him up by his head and throws him into the ring, and he follows him into the ring. He picks Shade up by the head again and puts him in Gutwrench position. He walks him into the center of the ring and lifts him up, pausing momentarily for the cameras with Shade on his right shoulder. He drops him down toward the mat and connects with the Blood Reign. Flare drops down to his knees and hooks the leg. The referee slides into position.

DING DING DING

Flare gets back up to his feet and peers out at the titantron, as the updated leader board shows him in first place. Flare hangs over the top rope, staring at the list as the show goes to commercial.

Sorry it's such a crap post. Had some things come up that I wasn't expecting.
