The New York Post has published a new article regarding the WWE Network, and reveals Vince McMahon has not completely ruled out the idea of the Network possibly existing as a premium network cable channel like HBO.

To aid in his decision making, The Post notes Vince is keeping close tabs on the relationship between WWE and Rogers Communication in Canada, where the Network is available as a premium channel for $11.99 per month. The subscription price is then divided up between the two partners, with WWE reportedly claiming about 60% of the monthly price point.

With regards to the handling of the Network in Canada, analyst Laura Martin, who covers WWE for Needham & Co, told The Post, “It’s a worthy experiment. It’s also smart to approach different geographies differently to find out what really works.”
