M6 | The Nightmare vs. David Michaels Empty
PostSubject: Re: M6 | The Nightmare vs. David Michaels   M6 | The Nightmare vs. David Michaels EmptySun Jun 15, 2014 9:31 am

The TV channel cuts back to the love feed where we see a new superstar in the ring, going by the name of Nightmare. The large man is clearly that of a powerful nature and is wearing a sickening white mask, which is enough to give anyone nightmares! David Michaels has just been introduced to the ring, as his entrance music is still playing and is finishing off looking out at the crowd on the second turnbuckle.

Cedar:
"Welcome back to Vendetta, ladies and gentlemen, as we are all set for in ring action from the man that is set to step inside Hell in a Cell at the Big Ass American Bash against Robert Hope - David Michaels!"

Miles:
"Yadda yadda. That's great and all, but have you seen his opponent? Now that looks like the kind of mask I wear when Joey makes his booty calls all at once!"

Cedar:
"What in the he--never mind. I don't want to know. That masked man in the ring, ladies and gentlemen, is apparently called 'Nightmare'...and I think that mask is probably an indication as to why he's refereed to as that."

Miles:
"Well as long as he's the one to end this moron's career, he can call himself whatever the hell he wants."

DING...DING...DING!!!

As Michaels hands his entrance jacket through the ropes to Nova, Nightmare stays in the opposite corner looking directly at him. The mind games have already begun with Nightmare, but Michaels isn't phased that easily. After all, it was only last month when he was hung from the rafters by his feet courtesy of Robert Hope. I mean, what's another masked psycho today anyway, after fighting Cerberus every week? Michaels then turns to face his opponent and adjusts his red tights, making sure they are comfortable. He takes a long, hard look at Nightmare and only now fully realises just what he's facing. The man is rather imposing, standing in at over six feet and weighing 250 pounds. The mask of Nightmare is pretty creepy and odd looking, which becomes the main puzzlement of Michaels mind. He slowly walks over towards the motionless figure, looking through to the man's eyes. He slowly walks right up to him and looks around. Michaels then comically knocks on the mask, before asking if anyone is home. Nightmare doesn't flinch at muscle and just remains still. Michaels suddenly flings his right hand up, pretending to go for a punch and begins laughing. Nightmare doesn't move, again, but Michaels found it funny none the less. He clearly isn't taking this man seriously...

Cedar:
"I'm not sure Michaels should take this man so lightly. He looks pretty menacing..."

Miles:
"You'd think this ass-sack would have learned to not piss people off, already. Especially masked people."

The Showstealer begins to laugh and looks round, saying something to Nova, before he turns around and Big Boot is launched directly into his face! Michaels splats to the mat like he's been just been shot with a gun, as Nightmare then stands over the former three time XWA World Heavyweight Champion cocking his head to the left as he looks down upon him. Nightmare then reaches down and latches onto Michaels throat, as a half spoken word of "OH SHI---!!" is heard before his voice box is cut off. The 250 pounder drags Michaels back up with ease and then flings him into the corner, Michaels' spine hitting the turnbuckle pads with force. Nightmare then runs in, looking for a corner Splash, but Michaels lifts both his legs up and cracks Nightmare in the face. He stumbles backwards, not hurting that much from the kick, as Michaels gathers himself. Nightmare then runs back in, looking for a Clothesline, but Michaels ducks it and darts to the ropes. He rebounds off as Nightmare turns around and leaps into the air, looking for a Flying Forearm...only for Nightmare to eventually nail that Clothesline and nearly knock his head clean off! The crowd are almost in shock as to how this towering looking new comer is destroying Michaels here, as The Showstealer thuds to the floor.

Miles:
"OHHH! OHHHHHHH-OH! That. Was fucking beautiful! I already like this guy, Cedar!"

Cedar:
"Well I don't think Michaels saw that coming, that's for sure."

Miles:
"WELCOME TO YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE, MICHAELS!"

Cedar:
"You actually used that line...that early?!"

Miles:
"SWAG."

Nightmare then drops to his knees and the ref is about to go for the count, but Nightmare decides he wants to Choke the arrogant Superstar instead and begins throttling away at his throat. The force on Michaels' windpipe it tremendous, while the referee begins to count to five. Nightmare, though, isn’t even listening to the ref and continues to choke Michaels despite the count. The ref decides to be slack on this ruling and grabs a hold of Nightmare's arm, pulling him off of Michaels. The 250 pounder then leaps up to his feet in anger and scares off the ref, who runs clean out of the ring in intimidation. The Phobia Enigma turns back round and reaches down, dragging Michaels back up to his feet. He then lifts him up and drops him back on the mat with a Scoop Slam, before bouncing over to the ropes. Once rebounding back in, Nightmare jumps into the air and looks to connect with a Leg Drop, but the veteran Superstar on the mat manages to roll out of harms way leaving Nightmare to nail the hard canvas! The Showstealer then scrambles out of the ring and, rather comically, heads over to Nova while motioning for a time out.

Cedar:
"Seems as though we're going to have a time out here."

Miles:
"Does then mean I get to have a piss break?!"

Cedar:
"....honestly, I've got passed caring what you do, Joey."

Miles:
"The shit I have to work with..."

Nova checks on her long time friend to see if he's OK, as Michaels acts as though he's seen a ghost. Nightmare slowly walks over to the ropes near to where the pair are standing and just stares at them both. Michaels turns around and jolts several feet backwards, clearly creped out by this guy. The ref, who has since mustered the courage to get back into the ring, informs Michaels to get back in also and begins counting. Michaels eventually climbs up the ring steps after receiving a few words of encouragement from his manager and walks across the apron. Michaels tells the ref to back Nightmare up. The ref goes to do so...but decides otherwise, to the disarray of Michaels! Suddenly Nightmare surges forwards and grabs Michaels, under hooking his left arm and holding onto his head. He then Hip Tosses Michaels back in the ring, with ease, landing directly on the core of his spine. Nightmare then rushes to the ropes again and leaps into the air, this time connecting with that missed Leg Drop from earlier. He floats over into the Lateral Press.

1...
2....
Kick out!

Michaels kicks out at sits up, holding his chest where the impact of the Leg Drop hit. Nightmare rushes back up to his feet and latches onto a huge chunk of Michaels' hair, pulling him up and then dragging him into the corner. Nightmare hits a few big hands squarely in his face, before picking him up around the waist and placing him on the top turnbuckle. After a couple more right hands, Nightmare begins attempting to climb up onto the second rope, looking for a big move here. However, David begins to finally fight back and now realises this guy can't be taken lightly. Michaels blocks the Superplex attempt and whack him in the gut a few times, until Nightmare loses his balance and flies back off the ropes and lands in the centre of the ring! The momentum causes him to roll backwards over his head and almost straight back up to his feet, while Michaels quickly scrambles up to the top turnbuckle. He then leaps off and smashes Nightmare in the top of the head with a Double Axe Handle, which only drops him to one knee. Michaels quickly gets up and darts to the ropes, rebounding off and then flying in with a huge Clothesline. The force pushes Nightmare back, but he still remains on one knee. Michaels rebounds off the ropes again and nails a second Clothesline, twice as hard. But, again, it barely budges the larger opponent. Michaels hits the ropes a third time, quicker than ever, and this time leaps across the ring and connects with a Flying Forearm Smash right into the mask of Nightmare. This shot, however, manages to bring the larger athlete off his feet to the delight of the crowd!

Cedar:
"Michaels finally gets Nightmare off of his feet in this contest! Can The Showstealer take advantage here? We'll find out, right after this, as Vendetta continues LIVE!"

Miles:
"...P-P-P-P-P-P-PISS BREAK!!!"

--The show cuts to a commercial break. #FirstWorldCerberusProblems--

Cedar:
"..aaaaaaaannnndddd welcome back to Vendetta, ladies and gentlemen, where throughout the commercial break it has been level footing between these two men, until Michaels targeted the knee of Nightmare. Lets take a look."

Miles:
"...shit, we're back on?! Let me put this out..."

While Joey decides to get all professional, we are taken to a replay package of Michaels getting the fans behind him before going to the top turnbuckle. He then attempts to leap off, for another Axe Handle Smash, but Nightmare catches him around the throat as he gets up. Michaels is then lifted up for a Chokeslam, but he dodges the bullet and lands behind him. Then, within the blink of an eye, Michaels jolts to the mat and Chop Blocks Nightmare straight into the back of his left knee. The larger man instantly falls to the floor, before we are taken back to the live feed. Nightmare is now laid on his back, as Michaels is holding the left leg up and is repeatedly kicking the knee. Michaels then places the leg on the floor and begins to stomp away at the now injured left knee, before hitting the rope and leaping into the air. He drops down with a Knee Drop onto the leg, causing further damage, as the former three time XWA World Heavyweight Champion is quick to take advantage of an opportunity in front of him. For the first time, we hear Nightmare grunt out in anger under his mask, as Michaels relentlessly works on that knee.

Cedar:
"Now this is more like David Michaels. He's now targeting that knee, which is a smart move, considering Nightmare is clearly a powerful looking individual. It may take away some of his offence, not that we even know what any of that is..."

Miles:
"Oh, so Michaels FINALLY wisens up and takes this guy seriously?"

Cedar:
"I don't think it has anything to do with wising up, Joey. Nightmare's first offence was kicking Michaels in the face!"

Miles:
"Whatever. He's an asshole."

Michaels then pulls Nightmare over to the corner, dragging him via the left leg, despite Nightmare being the heavier of the two. Letting go of the leg, David slides out of the ring and reaches back in, pulling Nightmare's leg over to him. He then pulls it, at an angle, around the ring post and applies his full body weight causing Nightmare considerable discomfort. The larger man sits up inside the ring and attempts to hit Michaels, but he can't quite reach leaving The Showstealer to really apply the damage. The ref warns Michaels several times, before quickly starting his count, to which Michaels lets go on five. He raises his arms up into the air and then quickly holds back onto the leg, applying more pressure. The fans chuckle, as Michaels uses a rather comical loophole in the ruling, as the ref is forced to make another count. Once more Michaels breaks the hold on four, only to immediately place it back on. Referee Jack Hammer decides he's had enough and climbs out of the ring and pushes Michaels off of the leg, as the fans boos the man in the stripped shirt profusely. Michaels takes a step back and looks at the ref, almost ready to Superkick his head off right there and then...but he keeps his cool, while Nightmare shuffles himself back further into the ring and away from the corner.

Cedar:
"Looks like the ref is in no mood to be made a fool of, here..."

Miles:
"Shame he isn't in that mood every other moment in his life, the old bastard."

Michaels then decides to ignore Jack Hammer and stomps up the ring steps, as Nova decides to start arguing with Hammer instead! As the pair start a yelling match, Michaels climbs up to the top turnbuckle and waits on Nightmare to hobble back up. Michaels the leaps off the top for the third time in this match and goes for a Cross Body, only for Nightmare to catch him in mid-air and viscously Powerslam him straight into the mat! The energy from the crowd is sucked out rather quick, after that, as Nova stops arguing with Hammer and looks worried. Nightmare then hooks the far leg.

1...
2....
Shoulder up!

Nightmare kneels up and holds three fingers up at the ref, before getting back up and tending to his left knee. Michaels crawls back up, as Nightmare holds onto his hair and then lifts him up around the waist, before moving round and dropping spine first onto his right knee with a Side Backbreaker. Michaels drops to the main, rather heavily, and yells out in pain as he arches hi back and Nightmare goes for another hook of the leg.

1...
2....
Shoulder up!

Getting frustrated, Nightmare quickly picks Michaels up via the throat once more before clubbing him in the back, bending him over slightly. Nightmare then places Michaels' head in between his legs and pops his hips, powering his opponent up into a seated position on his shoulders. However, Michaels has it scouted and quickly shifts his weight back and manages to take Nightmare down with a Hurricanrana! The fans cheers, as Michaels throws in a few right fists on landing for good measure, before getting back up to his feet as quick as he can and bouncing off the ropes. Nightmare scrambles back up to a vertical base, as quick as his left knee will allow him and turns to face an incoming Michaels. The Showstealer manages to duck a loose Clothesline attempt and races over to the opposite ropes, bouncing off them as hard as he can. As Nightmare turns around, Michaels jumps up and sends both of his feet straight up into the masked face of Nightmare, with a beautiful Dropkick. The shots rocks Nightmare on his feet and knocks him back a few feet...once again refusing to go down. Michaels runs back off the ropes, determined not to go through this cycle again and charges in. He leaps into the air and slams right into his opponent, with a Lou Thez Press...but Nightmare catches him and locks his large arms around his waist. He then shuffles back to the ropes and flings Michaels up and over his head AND over the top rope, sending him thudding to the floor on the outside with an incredible Belly-to-Belly Suplex! The fans gives off the classic "OHHHH!" as Michaels falls hard on his back, losing his breath for a moment.

Cedar:
"Oh my! What a Belly-to-Belly! He just launched Michaels all the way over the top, to the floor! Sensational!"

Miles:
"Hopefully that shattered his spine...and his face...and his arm...and his ass...and his spirit."

Cedar:
"Well you're enough to shatter anyone's spirit the way you talk each week..."

Miles:
"Cedar, leave the witty remarks to me and go eat...or something..."

Nightmare checks on his knee, as he's slowly being more annoyed by the minute, while Nova walks around on his stupidly high heeled boots and checks on Michaels, who is half sat up on the floor trying to suck in some oxygen. Referee Jack Hammer belittles Nightmare for doing what he just did, but Nightmare just stomps towards him and Hammer leaps out of the ring himself once more, but Nightmare climbs through the ropes and intimidates Nova enough for her to back away too. Nightmare reaches down and drags Michaels up by his hair, smashing his face into the ring steps. Michaels bounces over them and thuds onto the floor, again, now in front of the announce table. He attempts to pull himself up via the Vendetta announce table, but Nightmare is only too happy to help and pulls Michaels up by the hair again. He then thrusts Michaels face straight into the top of the table, Michaels rebounding back from the impact as Nightmare looks dead in the eyes of Ted Cedar.

Cedar:
"OK...I have no beef with you...I'm out of here if he thinks I'm playing any games."

Miles:
"He smells a potential barbecue with you, Cedar...only, you're the meat."

Michaels crawls over to the ring apron and manages to pull himself under the bottom rope, while Nightmare turns around and climbs up, following him back in. Michaels attempts to dash across the ring, but falls to his knees as his back is still hurting from the impact earlier. Nightmare then kneels down and sizes up Michaels, looking for perhaps hit a killing blow in this match. As Michaels makes his way back up, Nightmare shoots across the ring and aims for Michaels' gut with a Spear, but Michaels manages to leapfrog into the air and jumps over Nightmare, who is left to go face first into the top turnbuckle pad! The crowd cheers, as Michaels lands on his feet and turns around. He drops down and grabs hold of the inside leg of Nightmare from behind and pulls him back, rolling him up in a School Boy.

1....
2.....
Kick out!

Nightmare powers out just after two and Michaels scrambles back up to his feet, as does his opponent. Nightmare then goes for a Discuss Clothesline, but Michaels quickly ducks it and hooks the flailing arm, before hoping his legs up and scissoring them around the second arm, pulling back and locking the larger Nightmare in with a Crucifix Pin

1...
2.....
Kick out!

Once more, Nightmare is caught off guard with the pin, but manages to kick out at the count of two. Both men get back up to their feet as quick as they can and Nightmare, although hurting, is loosing patience now. However that doesn't stop Michaels from ducking down, wrapping both arms around his legs and causing Nightmare to fall onto his back. Michaels then flips over and drops on his opponent, pulling both of his legs back with a Jackknife Pin!

1....
2.....
Kick out!

Yet again, Nightmare kicks out at two, even though Michaels has come closer to a three with each of those falls. This time, Nightmare is a little slower back to his feet and this gives The Showstealer time to race off to the ropes and bounce back in. As he sees Nightmare getting back up to this feet, he leaps into the air and drives his knees into Nightmares chest, whilst holding the back of his head, looking for the Heartbreaker (Codebreaker)...but Michaels momentum ends right there, as Nightmare dead weights the manoeuvre and simply drives Michaels into the mat with a sickening Spinebuster! Nightmare then backs up to the ropes, leaning on him, as he shakes the cobwebs from his head.

Cedar:
"Michaels driven into the mat! I think he went for something that perhaps Nightmare was looking for, after already ticking him off with the quick near falls."

Miles:
"BOOM! And the bitch is down."

Nova keeps hitting the ring apron over and over again, trying to get her friend back into this, as Nightmare reaches down and slowly pulls a sorry looking Michaels back up to his feet. Nightmare kicks him in the gut, before wrapping his left arm around the back of his head. Then, grabbing a chunk of his tights, Nightmare lifts Michaels up into the air either looking for a Suplex of maybe a Brainbuster. Nightmare holds him there for a few moments, which turns out to be a mistake, as Michaels manages to bring his left knee down and cracks it in the top of Nightmare's skull. One shot clearly isn't going to break the hold, so Michaels repeatedly smashes him in the top of the head. Eventually Nightmare has no choice but to bring Michaels down and he lands back on his feet. Michaels then leaps into the air and, once more, presses his knee into Nightmare's chest and wraps his hands around the back of his head. He then jolts backwards and connects with the Heartbreaker (Codebreaker), sending Nightmare flying backwards and landing on the mat. The Showstealer then senses his opportunity and heads over to the ropes, climbing through them and then walking across the apron, before climbing up onto the top rope. Michaels was initially looking for his Elbow Drop, but Nightmare is already back up to his feet, which is something Michaels didn't remotely anticipate. Nightmare then stomps over to the corner only for Michaels to leap off and fly over Nightmare, landing behind him on his feet before rolling forwards. The Phobia Enigma turns around, confused as to what just happened, until Michaels side steps in and looks for the STS: Shattered Teeth Symphony! The crowd roars as they think the match is over, but Nightmare manages to hold onto the right leg, blocking the Superkick attempt! Nightmare cocks his head to the side, as Michaels looks on in horror, hobbling on his left leg.

Cedar:
"Ohhhhh-oh! I think Michaels just got caught here...this may not end well!"

Miles:
"RIP HIS LEG OFF! OR HIS FACE! OR...ANYTHING!"

Nightmare then pushes Michaels leg away, sending him completely around in a 360 on the spot. As he returns to face him, Nightmare reaches out and grabs him round the throat. Clutching hard, he then holds onto his tights with his left hand and throws Michaels up into the air before nailing him down into the mat with a vicious Chokeslam! The fans look on in horror, as Michaels is laid out in the middle of the ring. Nightmare then drops down to his knees for the Lateral Press.

1....
2.....
SHOULDER UP!

The fans go wild, as Michaels somehow manages to pop his left shoulder up. Nightmare can't believe it and looks at Jack Hammer, ready to Chokeslam him straight to hell too! He then gets up to his feet and chases Hammer away and, for the third time, Jack just storms out of the ring not wanting any part of this whacko. Nightmare then turns back around and reaches down, slowly bringing Michaels back up, placing his head in between his legs. He then motions for a Piledriver, a move that is capable of ending any contest. He forces Michaels up to both feet and locks his arms around his waist, about to pull him up for the move...when suddenly David Michaels wraps his left legs around that of Nightmares and shoves him back, rolling him clean over and then yanks back on the leg with his finishing submission hold the Break-a-Leg (Calf Killer)! The D-Volution fans in the crowd cheer, as the former three time XWA World Heavyweight Champion pulls back on the leg as much as his hurting body will allow!

Cedar:
"...and out of nowhere, Michaels has the Break-a-Leg locked in! Maybe if he can lock that in at the Big Ass America Bash, Robert Hope will be tapping like a drum man!"

Miles:
"OHHHHHHH original comparison is original. Seriously, that was worse than my nightmare line. And, for the record you fat tard, our King, Robert Hope, will NEVER submit to this moron....EVER!"

Nightmare slowly begins digging his hands into the canvas and, using his power, manages to drag himself over to the ropes. The feed captures a rather comical shot of Michaels head cocking up and with a confused expression, is trying to figure out why he is being dragged backwards across the ring so easily. Eventually, Nightmare gets to the ropes and Jack Hammer counts to four before David is forced to bring the hold. He gets back up and, whilst adjusting the top of his tights, he looks at Nova baffled as to how his opponent just did that! Nightmare, in the meantime, is pulling himself back up to his feet using the ropes quicker than any usual man. Michaels realises he can't take his foot off the gas and bounces off the ropes. Nightmare then hobbles around only to be immediately be caught in the masked face with a Flying Forearm Smash courtesy of The Showstealer, who is now going in for the kill in this contest. Nightmare into the mat, right in the centre, and Michaels scrambles up to his feet as quickly as he can, climbing up onto the top turnbuckle. He then leaps off and drives his elbow directly into Nightmare's chest with his favourite Top Rope Elbow Drop and hooks the far leg.

1....
2.....
SHOULDER UP!

The crow can't believe it and neither can Michaels who sits up and looks at the ref, not sure what just happened! Nightmare is clearly one tough egg that Michaels has yet to crack, as he gets back to his feet. Nightmare, once more, is already getting back to his but this time decides to lean in on the corner. Michaels then rushes to the opposite one and bounces out of it, racing across the ring. Then, just several feet in front of Nightmare, Michaels leaps into the air and looks for a high Stinger Splash...but Nightmare suddenly bursts out and nails him around the waist with a mid-air Spear and nearly drives him through the mat with the impact! A giant "OHHHHHH!" is heard from the rabid crowd, as Michaels' ribs may have just been smashed to pieces with that one. Nightmare then gets back up to his feet and looks distinctly pissed off, now motioning that this one is all but over. He lens over, begging Michaels to get back up, wanting to put an end this contest. The Showstealer slowly pulls himself up to his feet, using the ropes, whilst holding his injured ribs. Nightmare then charges towards him and leaps into the air and grabs a hold of Michaels head and neck area with his right arm, looking for his Phobia (Leaping Reverse STO) finisher! However, the ol' Davey Boy grips the ropes tightly at the last moment and all Nightmare ends up driving into the mat is himself. The back of his head hits the mat hard as he draws himself back up. Michaels, though, has since turned to his side and once Nightmare is back up to his feet, he shoots his right leg up and sends his famous boot cracking straight into the jaw area of Nightmare's mask! The whole arena roars in unison, as Michaels connects with the Shattered Teeth Symphony! But, to everyone's amazement, it doesn't knock him down! Nightmare hobbles backwards and is on the verge of falling over...but he doesn't! So Michaels takes a step back and sends a second right boot straight into his masked face, this time catching him perfectly with a second Shattered Teeth Symphony! This time...this time, Nightmare drops to the mat landing on his back and the fans chant along, as Michaels drops down and hooks the far leg.

1....
2.....
3!!!!!

DING...DING...DING!!!

Watts:
"Here is your winner...The Showstealer...DAVIDDDDD MICHAELSSSSSSS!!!"

Cedar:
"Well whatever Nightmare was looking for there...some sort of jumping reverse STO variant I believe...it certainly just cost him the match, but it taken TWO Superkicks to get it done for Michaels, Joey."

Miles:
"If you want a job doing, rely on Robert Hope. He'll end this morons career inside that Cell, mark my words."

As his theme music plays, Nova climbs into the ring as referee Jack Hammer helps Michaels back up and raises his hand. Nova then, rather comically, shoves Hammer out of the way and raises the hand instead. Jack then can be heard yelling out "F*CK THIS!" and heads to the back, sick of being attacked in this match. Michaels gets a quick hug from Nova before turning round and looking down at Nightmare, who is ALREADY beginning to stir to his feet. Michaels decides he's in too much of a current battle with a crazed masked man and climbs out of the ring, with Nova, and heads to the back. He wants nothing to do with this masked man.

Cedar:
"Well ladies and gentlemen, while Michaels and Nova decide they don't want to live any more of a Nightmare at this moment, we'll be right back after this commercial break where Mike Lamar is scheduled to get comments from Danny Diamond! We'll be right back!"

Miles:
"Wait, really?! You're leaving us with the promise of that fat fuck when we return? Nobody wants to listen to Lamar...BYE BYE RATINGS!"

The show cuts to a commercial break.

M6 | The Nightmare vs. David Michaels Empty
PostSubject: Re: M6 | The Nightmare vs. David Michaels   M6 | The Nightmare vs. David Michaels EmptySun Jun 15, 2014 9:22 pm

DING-DING!

The two wrestlers stared at each other as the bell rang. The crowd had an underwhelming effect on the atmosphere as Nightmare began to step towards his opponent. With the winner all but decided in their eyes, the crowd seemed a bit disinterested. Nightmare made for an odd anti-underdog of sorts despite towering over his opponent. David Michaels gave a grin as he looked over his loyal fan base. Nightmare's primary tactic seemed to have no effect, as no fear could be seen in The Showstealer's eyes. The two finally came at each other, making a stomping sound on the mat simultaneously and grappling in the middle of the ring. The Phobia Engima would get the advantage with a headlock, which he wrenched on furiously. David Michaels held his hand and shook it around, attempting to swing his momentum and somehow get out of the hold. But instead, he opted to move his hand to Nightmare's back. He grabbed a hold of his foe, and began to lift him off the mat. But with 3 Inches and 25 pounds made enough difference for Michaels to be unable to Nightmare high enough to land a back suplex. Instead, his 6'4 Opponent's feet planted back onto the mat. Nightmare then used his brute strength to push David towards the ropes, letting go of his headlock. Michaels rebounded against the ropes and came running at the masked tallman. Suddenly, using an agility reserved for men half his size, Nightmare lifted his boot to the face of "The man they came to see." The impact made a hideous smacking noise as Michaels fell backward and landed on the mat, his head bouncing off it awkwardly. The crowd let out a cry of shock from the suddenness of this move.

Ted Cedar: Dear lord, I think he might have beheaded The Showstealer right there!

Joey Miles: God dammit you fucking horror director wannabe, you have to leave something for Hope to dismantle!

Nightmare stared down at the results of his boot. David began to stir, shaking his head a little bit. Nightmare grabbed him by the head and pulled him to his feet. He then pushed him into the corner. Michaels leaned back into the turnbuckle, his arms lying lazily on the top rope. Nightmare then walked to him and began the methodically process of sending his size 15 boot into the rib cage of his unprotected foe. He held onto the top rope for leverage as he sent the vicious kicks, one, two, three and on the fourth he kept his leg there, pressing all his weight into The Showstealer, taking the breath from him. The ref then yelled at him to break the hold, and began the count. "1..2...3...4.." And then Nightmare finally brought his leg back. David Michaels staggered forward, falling to his knees in the middle of the ring. He attempted to catch his breath as the larger wrestler stepped towards him once more. He began to grab at the long hair of Michaels, but suddenly a bit energy ran through the man, as he sent a fist up to the jaw of the suit-wearing monster. Then another, and another, as the crowd began to cheer, giving Michaels the momentum he needed. He then ran backwards, bouncing against the ropes and using the momentum to come charging at his opponent. But Nightmare seemed to be prepared as he gathered his wits and grabbed David's upper body in mid-motion, and used his own speed to swing him around in a 180 before slamming his body into the mat for a swinging side slam. Michaels' body bounced off the mat, and he rolled around, arching his back and wincing in pain. Nightmare got to his feet and let out a laugh that garnered a multitude of boos from their audience. He then got down and cover his opponent.

1...
2..
Kick out!

Ted Cedar: Does he think that David Michaels would go down that easily?

The crowd cheers at the kick out, as Nightmare seems to be unphazed. He gets to his feet and grabs at Michaels' hair, and begins to pull him to his feet. But before He could get all the way, Nightmare puts his foe into a front headlock, getting ready to attempt a DDT. But Michaels seems to know what's going to happen, and he pulls backwards, getting to the ropes. He then pushes up on his larger opponent, trying to throw him up and over the ropes. As he rises, Nightmare begins to grab the top rope, but Michaels can only get him half way up before his strength lets out. Nightmare lands back on his feet and sends a double axe handle into the back of David's head. Michaels bends over a little bit. Nightmare then irish whips him towards the other side of the ring. Michaels bounces back and comes at Nightmare with great speed. Nightmare goes for a clothesline, but Michaels ducks it and bounces against the ropes on the other side. The next time he came at Nightmare, Michaels launched himself into the burly chest of his opponent. Nightmare came crashing down into the mat as the momentum caused Michaels running crossbody to be effective. David Michaels did not attempt the pin as he stood up and made his way to the nearest corner. He slowly made his way to the top rope, wiping a strand of hair out his face and sweat from his brow as he stood up. He waited for Nightmare to get to his feet before jumping off. Michaels grabbed Nightmare in a front headlock on the way down, using his acceleration to swing around send his head straight into the canvas to land a leaping DDT. Joey Miles: This fucker isn't done yet!?

The crowd booed with dismay as David Michaels slowly got to his feet. Nightmare began to stir, grabbing a hold of his head with trepidation. Michaels allowed the beast to get to his feet, and stood with his back towards the nearest ropes. Nightmare put his hand down and yelled out with rage. He came running at the showstealer with all he had. But his veteran foe had been prepared. He suddenly grabbed the top rope and laid on the mat, which caused the top rope to go low enough to emit Nightmare outside the ring. He landed awkwardly on the floor as the crowd let out a cheer. David got up and passed through the ropes, staying on the apron. He awaited the rise of his opponent, to which he leaped off the apron, sending his arm across the chest of Nightmare to hit a flying clothesline. They both hit the floor as the ref began his count "1". The two still laid on the floor, Nightmare unmoving while Michaels was starting to get to his feet. "2!" Michaels got his legs under him and climbed up onto the apron. He looked down at his stirring foe. "3!" By this time, David had decided that he was not gonna wait for the count. He made his way to the nearest turnbuckle and climbed to the top rope, facing Nightmare. "4!" Just as Nightmare got to his feet, Michaels came down, his hands locked together to attempt the flying double axe handle strike, but as he came, Nightmare stuck his hand out and grabbed his throat. Michaels landed on his feet as Nightmare put his hand on The Showstealer's back and lifter up. He chokeslammed the long-haired wrestler straight into the apron, the edge colliding brutally with Michaels' back. "5!" Michaels gasped for air and arched his back as the pain came in full. His eyes showed the excruciating torment he was going through. Nightmare then grabbed him by the back of the neck and his back. He ran and threw the helpless wrestler headlong into the steel barricade. Michaels flopped around and hit the floor like a rag doll. He laid motionless on his stomach. 6!" Nightmare rolled into the ring, and rolled back out, starting the count once more.

Ted Cedar: It looks to me like Nightmare isn't done utilizing the outside of the ring yet!

Joey Miles: Ha! This ought to be good.

Nightmare takes his opponent by the hand and irish whips him towards the ring steps. The collision makes a thunderous bang as the top half of the steps comes loose and falls to the side. David Michaels lies limp on the bottom half, his eyes glazing over. Nightmare pulls him to his feet and rolls him into the ring. He comes in after him. David Michaels begins to stir, grabbing his head, a pained look on his face. Nightmare goes and bounces against the ring ropes and runs at the body of Michaels. When he gets to his opponent, who jumps and locks his legs out, attempting to hit a leg drop. But the older man rolls out of the ring, allowing Nightmare to land on his bottom for no avail. He lets out a groan as he lifts one leg and winces. He then gets to his feet as Michaels begins to get to his. They slowly move towards each other and Michaels lands a fist up towards the chin of Nightmare. This stuns the taller man, which allows Michaels to jump up on Nightmare, with his knees pressed to his chest. He falls backwards, landing the Heartbreaker! Nightmare shoots up to a standing still position before falling backwards on to the mat. Michaels makes the cover, making sure to lift one long leg.

Ted Cedar: The Heartbreaker from out of nowhere!

Nightmare's shoulder comes off the mat just in time to stop the 3 count. David Michaels is in disbelief as he sits down. Nightmare rolls over onto to his stomach, but doesn't get up. Michaels goes over to the body and grabs at the mask as he pulls the 6'4 beast to his feet. He pushes against the ropes and irish whips him, but Nightmare counters by swinging around and irish whipping Michaels himself. Michaels bounces against the ropes but comes flying back at Nightmare with a flying forearm smash. Both men hit the mat. They lay their as the crowd and the ref begin to count. "1!" Nightmare shakes his head a little bit, but does not get up. "2!" Nightmare begins to stir a little bit more, as Michaels continues to lay motionless. "3!" Nightmare rolls onto his stomach and begins to attempt to get to his knees. "4!" Suddenly, legs of the man they came to see came alive, pulling into his stomach before lurching out like a bullet, sending David Michaels to his feet for a kip-up. The crowd exploded at The Showstealer's signature move as he waved fists in the air and screamed.

Joey Miles: Ah fuck, there he goes showing off again.

The crowd began the chant before he even got near the corner. "S-T-S! S-T-S! S-T-S!" David Michaels drank in the chants as puts his hands on the top rope. He then send his boot into the canvas, pounding the drum for the crowd as they chanted. Nightmare slowly started to get back to his feet as the chanting grew louder and louder. David Michaels' foot pounded faster and faster as Nightmare got his legs under him. Suddenly, Michaels began the side step towards his opponent for the STS. But Nightmare sprang to life in an instant, grabbing him by his top half while he was in the mid air, and falling backwards to send him face first into the mat for the PHOBIA! Michaels bounces off the mat and lands on his back, unmoving. Nightmare makes the quick cover.

The crowd is absolutely exasperated as Michaels seems to come out of unconsciousness to get his shoulder up. Nightmare slams his fist into the mat with a blind rage. He gets to his and leans back into the nearest corner, feeling the affects of the match. David Michaels slowly gains his composure and gets to his feet, but he looks dizzy. Nightmare comes running at him with all his force, slamming his arm into the man's chest for a volatile clothesline. Michael's boots came up into the air as the rest of him collides with the canvas. Michaels lays on the mat not moving once more. Nightmare does not make the cover however, opting to pull Michaels to his feet once more. He Irish whips him across the ring, and as he's coming back Michaels uses the last of his energy to wrap his legs around the head of his foe, swinging around until he can grab Nightmare's and drop down, finishing the spinning head scissors with a DDT. The crowd roars as Nightmare rolls over on his back. Michaels goes for the cover.

The entire arena is shocked as Nightmare still manages to get his shoulder off the mat. Michaels gets to his feet, and stops for a second, after feeling the affects of the match. He looks down at his giant opponent, and looks to the top rope, for which the crowd begins to cheer in anticipation. Michaels goes over to corner and climbs to the top rope with his back towards his opponent. He then flips backwards, descending towards Nightmare in an attempt at a moonsault. But Nightmare moves out of the way at the last second, rolling to his feet. Michaels lands face first in the mat, the impact causing him to bounce back on to his feet. Nightmare then comes upon with a new-found vigor, jumping up and hitting him with another Phobia! Michaels flops on to his back. Nightmare hooks both legs and pins him.
