IndyWeek.com recently conducted in an interview with WWE star Kofi Kingston, and he had the following to say regarding racism in WWE:

"People always say, 'Oh, there haven't been many black champions,' but on the other hand, there are a whole lot of white people that never won a belt either," he said. "These days, I think it's less of a racial thing. I honestly believe that if you are able to entertain and interact with the crowd, it doesn't matter what ethnicity you may be. [WWE] will reward you."

While exact details have yet to be announced regarding the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational taking place at WrestleMania 30, WWE.com is saying the match will be a one-fall contest, and AJ Lee does not have to be pinned to lose her Title.

pffft.... There's no racism in WWE. Mark Henry has had some world title reigns. And Shelton Benjamin, though not having won any major title, has worn plenty championships at his time in WWE.

WWE does portray stereotypes in characters. But I think it's more laziness or trying to get a laugh than being racist.

It's funny how people like to accuse the company of being racist just because a black man doesnt win THE World Championship. I can think of plenty of black wrestlers that didnt have that much success due to the fact they were either not over with the crowd, they werent good in ring or on the mic, or it just wasnt their time. Ahmed Johnson comes to mind, and he just had to peak during Shawn Michaels' title run. Was over as shit, but it just wasnt his time. You cant push EVERYBODY to a title run because then everyone gets lost in the shuffle.

Not to mention The Rock is like one of the biggest stars of all time and he's half black. King Booker is like the biggest WHC of all time, or at least one of them, and he's black. People just love to bitch.
