According to The Wrestling Observer, Bobby Lashley worked the TNA Lockdown PPV without a contract, but officials hope to have a deal done very soon as they have written Lashley into future TNA creative plans. Officials were said to be very pleased that Lashley's surprise return to TNA did not leak, and the company was willing to have Lashley return without a contract because they really wanted a surprise at Lockdown.

Well it certainly was a surprise...but I'm not sure anyone cares enough about him. He's always been very average at best.

The difference with Lashley though is he was a wrestler first and a MMA guy 2nd. Its not like King Mo or Rampage where they couldnt take bumps and shit for fear of getting injured before a fight

Oh for sure. I feel way more comfortable with Lashley playing that MMA bullshit, but it's bullshit none the less.

Hopefully he's there as a wrestler and a wrestler only. He needs some sort of gimmick, though.
