The eventing kicked off with Emil Jay announcing the return of everyone's favorite ring announcer, Larry Legend, who took over the reigns.

Caleb Konley defeated Alexander James by submission

Joe Gacy got a huge victory when he defeated Tommy Dreamer, thanks to a distraction from DJ Hyde.

Timothy Thatcher made his successful debut by defeating the returning Dalton Castle.

The Beaver Boys retained the CZW World Tag Team Championships when they defeated the Front, made up by Sozio and the debuting Jaka.

Pepper Parks won his wife, Cherry Bomb, back when he defeated Greg Excellent in a short contest. Thanks to Cherry Bomb and Parks' kettle bell filled duffle bag that took out Excellent.

Following the match, Excellent agreed that maybe some things needed to change. With that LuFisto returned to the Combat Zone and joined Greg Excellent in an impromptu Intergender Tag Team Match. Parks and Bomb may have won that first battle, but Excellent and LuFisto won the second!

Azrieal, Chris Dickinson, & OI4K defeated Alex Colon, Biff Busick, & the Juicy Product.

The first six competitors in April 12th's Best of the Best XIII event were announced as Timothy Thatcher, Bucks Belmar, Caleb Konley, Chuck Taylor, Lucky 13, and Andrew Everett.

MASADA went to war with possibly his toughest opponent to date, Mr. Tofiga. After a bloody battle that nearly saw Tofiga walk away with the victory, MASADA once again proved his dominance over the Campaign for a Better Combat Zone.

Danny Havoc came out next with a few important announcements. First, former CZW competitor and deathmatch stalwart Dysfunction will be competing in his LAST deathmatch against Havoc at Proving Grounds on May 10th LIVE on CZWiPPV.com. Next, Havoc confirmed the rumors about CZW's Golden Boy, Drake Younger. Havoc announced that Younger will return to the Combat Zone for ONE NIGHT ONLY on April 12th at Best of the Best XIII. Finally, just as Havoc wanted to celebrate Lucky 13's inclusion into this year's Best of the Best... Matt Tremont kept good on his promise to make the Nation of Intoxication's lives a living hell! Tremont attacked the unsuspecting Havoc. After the assault, Havoc demanded a match with the Bulldozer at CZW's Rhode Island debut. Tremont accepted the challenge for To Infinity on April 27th.

The controversial BLK Jeez was victorious against DJ Hyde thanks to assistance from the Innovator of Violence Tommy Dreamer!

Shane Strickland's hard work finally paid off when he defeated Devon Moore for the CZW Wired Championship. With that win, Strickland definitely has a good chance at achieving his next goal of becoming Best of the Best... That's assuming CZW Management officially signs him into this year's tournament.

Finally, in what was considered the match of the night... Drew Gulak successfully defended the CZW World Championship against AR Fox.
