There has been talk of bringing back the King of the Ring name and ppv. The WWE feels that now that both titles are unified its important to give the roster another goal to shoot for. William Regal has been a big advocate of the event returning. It has been several years since the King of the Ring ppv has been apart of the regular WWE ppv schedule and many within the company feel like the ppv would be fresh if resurrected.

If they can do it without turning the winner into a farce for the next few months, then I'm all for it coming back. I love tournaments, and we haven't had any meaningful ones in a long while.
