The first match of the night is officially underway as newcomer Luis Claudio looks to pick up another big win following his successful debut against Maddox Paine last week. Tonight, he takes on the Hardcore Champion in a non-title match. He's been vocal about wanting a shot at the Hardcore Championship on Twitter so maybe a win tonight will propel him into the contender's list. The two men immediately launch forward into a Collar-and-Elbow Tie-Up and it's quickly transitioned into a Waist Lock by Luis. Riley tries to pry his opponent's hands apart so he can be freed of this hold before something can happen, but it's to no avail. Luis is simply too strong. Claudio backs up a couple feet whilst looking behind himself to see the corner of the ring. He then lifts his opposition into the air and launches him backwards into a German Suplex, the back of Riley's head crashing into the middle turnbuckle! As Riley grabs the back of his head in pain, Luis quickly pulls him away from the ropes and goes for a pin. One! Tw--Just one and a half before Riley gets his shoulder up. Luis doesn't fret, however, knowing that wouldn't get the pin. He does want to end this one early, though, to prove he can easily take on the Hardcore Champion. So, he picks up Riley and places his head in between his legs, calling for his Potencia Bomba finisher; a Powerbomb into a Lungblower! Before he can lift his opponent up, however, Riley shows a surprising amount of strength by lifting his opponent and Back Body Dropping him onto the canvas! The audience cheers as Riley gets his first small bit of offense in. Luis quickly gets back up to his feet, but he's taken down by a Clothesline from Williamson. He gets back to his feet and he's taken down again, this time by a Dropkick. The impact of the Dropkick causes the new superstar to roll out of the ring. As Claudio gets on his feet outside of the ring, Riley hits the ropes, rebounding off of them for speed before diving through the opposing set of ropes and going for a Suicide Dive! The move lands to perfection, causing Luis to go back-first into the security barricade.

Riley, feeding off of the cheers from the crowd, takes a few steps back and measures up his opponent as Luis gets back to his feet. Once ready, he rushes forward and leaps into the air, looking for a running Cross Body, but Luis catches him! The audience jeers as the big man showcases his strength by casually tossing his opponent backwards, over-head, with a Fallaway Slam; Luis barely even arching his back as he does so! "El Diablo" snarls at the jeering crowd before picking his opponent up by the head and sliding him into the ring, following in after him to cut off the referee's count at five. Upon reentering the ring, Luis pulls his opponent back up to his feet, grabbing him by his head and his tights before throwing him into the steel post, shoulder-first. Riley lets out a few painful sighs while pulling himself out of the corner of the ring, only to turn around and be drilled with a Big Boot from the brick house Luis! The Puerto Rican wrestler goes for the cover. One! Two! Kickout just after two! Not letting the kickout bother him, Luis immediately continues his onslaught by pulling his adversary up to his feet and applying a Double Underhook. Still holding his opponent in the maneuver, Luis backs up to the ropes. He looks to take Riley straight up and out of the ring with a Butterfly Suplex! He manages to lift Riley straight up and toss him over the top rope, but unbeknownst to the XWA newcomer, Williamson lands on the apron! Luis turns around, shocked to see a punch coming straight his way from his opponent on the apron. As Luis stumbles back, Riley clutches onto the top rope and leaps into the air, springboard off of the aforementioned rope and flying at Luis, drilling him in the face with a second Dropkick! The audience cheers as Riley gets back to his feet, shaking his fists to build up the crowd even more.

"Booooo, you suck faggot!"

Riley claps a couple times to get the audience clapping along with him and help him build momentum. Slowly, Luis begins to pull himself back to an erect base, unknowing that his opponent is watching as he gets up. Once Claudio is standing, Riley showcases a big amount of strength to lift the fifty-four pound heavier man off of the ground and onto his shoulders, setting up for his F5 finisher! The audience cheers loudly as Riley looks to end this match, but as he goes for the swing, Luis quickly wraps his arm around his opponent's neck and takes him head-first down to the canvas with a Tornado DDT! He rolls on top of his opponent for the lateral press as the audience boos. One! Two! T--But Riley kicks out just after a count of two! Luis doesn't take a moment to catch his breath or regain his composure, as he gets back to his feet and instantly lifts the Hardcore Champion off of the canvas and into the air with a Suplex! He doesn't drop him immediately, however, instead holding the young man upside-down for quite some time, letting the blood rush to his head. Showcasing his tremendous power, Claudio even goes so far as to let go with one hand, holding his two hundred and ten pound opponent in the air with his other hand alone! Once Riley's head has turned a bright red, due to the blood rushing to it, Luis finally drops backwards, taking his opponent with him to finish the Stalling Suplex. Luis doesn't go for the cover following the move, however, instead going another route. He decides to showcase his own agility by climbing the turnbuckle and performing a diving attack! Once perched atop the corner of the ring, Claudio stalks his opponent from the skies like a vulture ready to swoop down on the carcass of an animal. As Riley reaches a vertical base, Luis dives off of the top turnbuckle, extending his leg out and looking for the diving knee attack dubbed Rodilla Voladora! Riley had it scouted, however, lifting his leg just in time to Superkick his opponent directly in his extended knee! Claudio crashes and burns on the canvas, holding his knee and screaming in pain as the audience bursts into cheers once more.

"Fuck that, Theodore. Riley got lucky but that's not gonna happen again. Luis is gonna beat him here and then he's gonna face Shade for the Hardcore Championship after Shade wipes his ass with this fuck and Jared Jewhogivesafuck!"

Riley looks at the downed man and notices him grabbing his ankle in pain. He realizes what he can do to win the match now as he quickly grabs his opponent by that hurt leg and drags him to the center of the ring, turning him onto his stomach and applying an Ankle Lock! The fans cheer as Luis can be moments away from tapping out in his very second match in XWA! Luis is surprisingly calm for being in a submission hold. No yelling, no desperate flopping about, nothing. Instead, his sole focus is on getting out of this hold. He quickly manages to roll onto his stomach before pushing Riley with his foot, causing the Hardcore Champion to trip backwards, but he does not relinquish the hold! Instead, Riley flips back up to his feet, turning his opponent back onto his stomach in the process and applies even more pressure. Realizing he's not going to easily out-maneuver his opponent, Luis decides to try another tactic to getting out of the submission hold; getting to the ropes. Slowly but steadily, he inches himself closer and closer to the rope, dragging his opponent with him. Once he comes within a fingertip's reach of the bottom rope, he finds the rope moving further and further away. In actuality, it's Luis whom is moving further and further away as Riley has dragged him back to the center of the ring! Quickly, the Hardcore Champion drops down to the canvas and wraps his legs around the leg of his opponent to apply a Grapevine to the submission hold! Now Luis is really in trouble. It's much easier to drag someone whom is standing than it is to drag someone whom is laid down, wrapped completely around your leg. Nevertheless, Luis doesn't look like he's ready to give in and tap out. Instead, he begins the slow crawl back to the ropes. Inch by inch, second by second, Claudio showcases his incredible strength and will to fight by pulling himself, and his opponent, towards the ropes. Finally, he reaches out his arm as far as he can and grabs a hold of the bottom rope! Riley immediately releases the hold, to abide by the rules, but he doesn't seem happy about it.

"What? Fuck, I need to get better at Spanish. God, Theodore. He's the God of Puerto Rico."

Riley doesn’t let up on the leg of his opponent, stomping down on it in numerous places, at the ankle and knee in particular. He pulls his adversary back to a vertical base before bending Claudio's knee backwards, raising him into the air and dropping him on his other foot whilst driving his bent leg into Riley's own knee with a Shin Breaker! Luis hops around on one leg, holding his knee in pain for a moment. Once he puts his leg back down, the Hardcore Champion attacks him with a Chop Block, taking the bulky man down to one knee. He then runs to the ropes and rebounds off of them, drilling his opponent with the third Dropkick of the match; this one to the chest of Luis! He quickly goes for the cover. One! Two! Thr—Luis kicks out at two and a half! Riley, having had enough of this, signals for the end! Riley lifts Luis onto his shoulders for the second time in the match, looking to land his finishing F5! The audience erupts into cheers as he does so, but those cheers soon dwindle away as "El Diablo" slides off of Riley's shoulders and down his back. Without hesitation, he spins, drilling his opponent in the back of the head with a devastating chop known as the Carrera de la Muerte! Before Riley can even drop to the canvas, Luis turns him around and places his head in between his legs, setting up for his Powerbomb into a Lungblower finisher known as the Potencia Bomba! He raises Riley onto his shoulders, stumbling around a bit as he tries to get the perfect grip on him whilst also not putting too much pressure on his injured leg, before swinging him down whilst jumping into the air and pressing his knees into the back of the Hardcore Champion! The audience jeers heavily as Luis holds onto his hurt knee, injuring it even further with that move! Nevertheless, he makes the pin attempt. One! Two! Three!

DING! DING! DING!

"Luis is victorious for the second week in a row since debuting! And this time, he holds a victory over a Champion!"

"Fuck yeah, El Dedos!"

Luis gets back to his feet and lets out a loud, mighty roar, having defeated another worthy opponent on his impressive path of destruction. The official raises his hand into the air.

Ding, Ding, Ding!!!

The two men bore holes into the eyes of one another as the bell keeper rings the bell twice, kicking off the match. Luis and Riley waist absolutely no time in engaging this match. As soon as that bell rings, Luis's ears prick up like a dog's as do Riley's. In a second, launching himself like he's been thrown across in a catapult- Luis pounces up and fires at Riley with a huge array of right and left hand punches at every area he can get a hit. Riley fires back with his own as the crowd grow louder, like a fire becoming hotter and higher in the air. Riley fights Luis off and hooks Luis's arms under his own, in a way similar to a boxer's tie-up. He uses all his weight to shove Claudio back-first into the turnbuckle, and keep him there in the corner. The Hardcore Champion attacks Luis with rapid chops to the chest, over and over again in almost perfect rhythm, much like a metronome. After at least seven of these, the fans cheering has grown stronger, but it drops back down again as Luis anticipates the eighth chop, catching Riley by the wrist. He backs out of the corner hastily and whips Riley into his place to a huge reaction. Now Claudio is in the drivers seat, firing away at Riley with various punches to the head and that general area- a real scrappy kind of attack. Slaps, punches, backhanders, anything he can think of he's throwing in Riley's direction. The Floridan has to fight Claudio off, though. Quickly coming up with a solution, he uses the fact he is in the corner and holds onto the top rope, hoisting himself up as though they were gymnast rings. As he hoists himself up, he kicks Luis away with both legs. El Diablo is sent back a few steps, allowing Riley enough time to climb onto the second rope. As Claudio recomposes himself, Riley leaps off the second rope and throws himself at Claudio with a huge diving crossbody, knocking the Puerto Rican Native onto his back. Riley backs away as Luis pulls himself back to his feet groggily, shaking his head and rising like a puppet on strings. He turns just in time to see that Riley is coming back at him quickly. He hooks under Riley's arm and pulls him down onto his back with a huge arm-drag. Riley wastes little time in returning to his feet but once again, there's Luis- ready to take him back down again with another arm-drag- a feat he is successful in conquering. As Riley rises to his feet rather staggeringly, Claudio tries for a third- but as with previous instances in this sequence, Riley is now used to the routine and as soon as Luis comes at him, Riley reacts quickly and floors Luis with a huge dropkick right in his chin. The Puerto Rican Native is down, and Riley has the match in the palm of his hand. As Luis struggles onto his knees and forearms, Riley quickly runs at him with a punt to his ribs, flipping him over onto his back like a pancake. Then once again he stomps right on the tip of Luis's chest, as Luis double's over and coughs loudly. Riley pulls Luis up forcefully, like he's ripping a piece of paper in half and pulling one bit away from the other. Hooking his arm around Luis's neck and grabbing the Claudio's leg, Riley springs backwards bringing Luis with him and nails him with a huge fisherman's suplex. He's got the leg still hooked as he stays in position as he attempts for a pin...1… An Not enough to keep Luis down, he raises a shoulder up, breaking the pinfall early.

Joey: Riley has to be stupid to think that he would have Luis beaten this early.

Ted: It may have been stupid, but could have also been a dumb move on Riley’s part. He may have woken Luis up!

Riley releases the hook on Luis's leg and returns to his feet, this time giving Luis time to get back up himself. He beckons him as Luis struggles back to his feet. Riley waits, looking somewhat unimpressed the entire time it takes Luis to get back up, regain his balance and stand face to face with Riley Williamson. Soon as Luis looks ready, Riley dives right back in and attacks Luis with a rolling elbow to the face. Luis flies back a few steps as Riley strides forwards, following his every move. Riley grabs Luis by the head in a hold that would suggest he's going for a cutter, but Luis isn't having it. All he wants right now as his chest and sides throb and ache is a few moments to himself, so there's only one mission he has right now- get Riley away. As Riley grabs Luis's head the latter shoulder blocks him in the back and literally just shoves him away. As Riley turns around to amend the bump in the road he's just encountered, Luis fires at him with a hard european uppercut. The crowd fires up again as Claudio hits another european uppercut and then another. He completes the sequence with a big shin kick that finally chops Williamson down onto his knees. Literally. As Claudio stands over him, he takes at least three steps back and then slides back towards Williamson with his foot going forwards and making contact with the Floridan with a boot to the face. With Williamson now down, the crowd boo’s. But Claudio looks over at the crowd for a brief few seconds before he begins to hurt. His chest is hurting really badly...and that's the last thing he needs. He stumbles over to the ropes, using them as leverage to pit himself in the corner as he breathes heavily and holds his chest in absolute agony. He looks over onto the outside, more specially the front row and tries to gasp for some air. The People in the front row now stand up onto there feet cheering abruptly- seeing as Riley is coming back as this alarms Luis. Claudio turns to his side but he's too late. Williamson nails him with a huge step-up high knee to his face, as he continues to suffer in the corner. Dragging him out, the self-assured Williamson strikes Claudio quickly with a huge superkick right before Claudio can even begin to react. Can't let Claudio get any offense. Now stood over him, he then rabs both Claudio's legs, folding them around his own, twisting Luis onto his front and locking him in a sharpshooter… The fans in the Verizon Center cheer loudly as Riley smiles. Meanwhile, Luis is trying every muscle in his body to crawl towards the ropes. Using even the smallest creases in the mat, Luis Claudio scratches and crawls his way toward that bottom rope. And inch by inch he gets there, Claudio closing in on it as he represses his pain every passing second. His legs feel like they could snap off at any time, Now he is mere inches away. He reaches out but only his fingertip can reach. Using his other arm as leverage he reaches over, stretching himself unorthodoxly towards the rope… And he just about grabs it!

Ted: What strength and power this Luis guy has!

Joey: I don’t think Riley cares.

XWA Official Ryn Sanu looks over and decides that's enough for him, beginning the count. The booing gets louder as Claudio gets to the rope quickly cross-fades to boos once again as Riley keeps the hold locked on, maybe even harder now that he has the rope. Sanu counts one, two, three, four and then right as the 'F' in five flies out of the refs mouth Riley drops both legs and throws his arms up. He has till five, right? Claudio keeps hold of that rope, using it as leverage as Sanu warns Riley against trying to pull a trick like that ever again. Claudio grabs the other rope with his other, free arm and hoists himself up. Noticing over Sanu’s shoulder the fact that Claudio is rising once again like a reverse-Titanic, Riley moves out of the way as El Diablo catches his balance again. Riley lunges at Luis but he anticipates the arrival of Riley. Using mainly his shoulder but also the entire weight from the left side of his body, Claudio backbody drops Riley not just anywhere...but over the rope and to the outside, There's a huge bang as he makes impact with the floor and a big Boo. Ryn Sanu begins the count, but even Luis knows that won't be enough to stop Riley. He'll be back in before he knows it, With his legs now aching and his chest still in agony, not as much as before but still hurting, Claudio really can't waste any time he could have to catch a breather. Dropping down onto his knee to let his left leg rest a little, he keeps his eyes firmly on the rising slowly rising Riley Williamson as we reach a four in the count-out. And it's at this moment Claudio takes either his biggest sacrifice or makes his biggest mistake, as he staggers over toward the ropes opposite Riley and leans backwards into them. By this point El Diablo limp-runs toward the opposite ropes and uses his less damaged leg of the two to hop through the middle rope and take Riley down with a Suicide Dive. Both men lie in a heap as Sanu continues the count, going back to one now that Luis has entered the picture. Riley, the less damaged of the two, is the first to get back up, however with use of the barricades for leverage. Luis reaches his knees when Trace mockingly throws a punch at him on the side of the head, something which prompts much cheering from the crowd. As he goes for another punch, Luis puts his forearm in the way and uses his other forearm to smash Riley in the gut with. With Sanu now reaching three, Luis reaches his feet again narrowly missing losing his balance and falling over onto his back. Picking Riley up briefly at his side, he drops him down onto the barricade chest-first, causing the Floridan to wince in pain as he trails off to avoid another one. The count is now at five. Like a Slender-Man in the woods, Luis is following Riley every step of the way, all the way around to the announcers desk where Riley leans to get a breather and wear off the injuries he incurred from that suicide dive. Before Riley can even notice he's there, Luis has grabbed the back of Rileys head and is hurling it right into the announcers desk, connecting with a huge thud. Williamson ricoshets from the thud and is caught once again by Claudio as we reach a seven count, the Puerto Rican Native nailing Williamson in the face with a hard punch as the former New York Native hurtles towards the steps and past the turnbuckle not far from the announcers desk. Luis once again follows Riley as the latter jumps up onto the apron and into the ring quickly as eight is reached by Sanu. Luis, his legs still kind of buggered, forces himself up onto the apron by nine using a lot of power and will. He's there on the apron now. Sanu' count stop...momentarily. Riley sees Luis struggling his way into the ring and watches for a few seconds as Luis tries to get what feels like a leg that weighs ten tons up through the ropes. Riley wanders forward and wraps his arm around the neck of Luis as he tries to go for a Suplex but Luis backs off, as he puts his hands onto the back of Williamson’s head and drops off the apron causing Riley’s throat to collide with the ropes. While Luis lands onto his feet on the outside.

Ted: Well, that was uncalled for!

Joey: What do you mean uncalled for? Riley was just trying to attack an Injured man and Luis acted in self defense.

Riley lies there, holding onto his throat while Luis looks on with a smile as he slides back into the ring. As El Diablo puts his arms out majestically and laughs, the fan boo extremely loudly, while Luis now stands on top of Riley. Riley puts both his hands over onto Luis’s kneepads, trying to pull himself up, Luis helps him up Luis pulls Riley in close and drives a knee up into the mid section of the Hardcore Champion. Riley doubles over and Luis drives his elbow down between the shoulder blades. A second elbow follows before Luis shoves Williamson back into the turnbuckle, grabbing the top rope with his hands for leverage and driving a boot into the mid section of the Floridan. Luis continues driving boot after boot into the mid section of Riley Williamson until Williamson can no longer stand, the longest reigning RSD Champion dropping onto his ass, leant against the bottom turnbuckle. Grabbing hold of the ropes either side of the turnbuckle Luis puts a boot against the throat of Riley Williamson and then lifts himself up, the other boot joining the first at Riley’s throat. Leaning back with the ropes in hand Luis begins pushing his boots against the throat of Riley. Williamson claws at the boots, trying to push them away, but it’s two forces pushing against each other and this time round Luis has the leverage and the ropes on his side. Ryn Sanu does indeed step in, first demanding that Luis release the choke before starting his five count when El Diablo clearly refuses to do so. Riley tries screaming out as he feels his windpipe slowly start to collapse but nothing escapes, one of the more... common side effects of having too boots pushed against your neck. As Sanu counts Luis seems to push down more, wanting to inflict as much pain as possible before he has to release the hold because that is what this is about. He can’t win with an illegal choke, this isn’t going to bring him victory, this is about inflicting pain, about hurting Riley Williamson so much that he won’t want to fight back. The count reaches four before Luis releases the choke, stepping back onto the mat. As Riley gasps for air Sanu pushes Luis back, getting in his face and warning him about that kind of behaviour. Claudio shouts that he ‘has until five’ before pushing Sanu aside. Luis grabs Riley and drags him up onto his feet towards the centre of the ring, but before he can do anything Williamson strikes out with a hard right hand to the mid section, stunning the unsuspecting Puerto Rican Native. A second right hand follows that breaks Luis’s grip on him and Williamson explodes upwards with an uppercut that sends Luis staggering backwards. Williamson bursts out with a forearm to the jaw, a second forearm sending Luis into the ropes where Williamson promptly whips him across the ring. Claudio rebounds off of the rope and Williamson charges forward, bringing his knee up and driving it into the mid section of Luis, his momentum sending him flipping over the knee and crashing to the mat back first. Claudio bends down and reaches Riley head as he grabs a handful of his hair and pulls him up. He looks set to swing his right hand, but Riley looks to come back as he connects with a blow first, drilling his right hand into the abdomen. The shot doesn’t really hurt Claudio, but it phases him and gives Riley time to think what he should do. A sudden idea pops into his mind and The Floridan sprints in the opposite direction to Luis, leaps up onto the middle rope and flies backwards, looking for a springboard crossbody. Luis however catches him mid flight and lobs him backwards with a fallaway slam. Somehow Riley manages to break the landing and roll through and as Claudio turns he spots Riley rebounding off the rope, leaping at him and turning him straight down onto his head with a hurricane DDT.

Ted: Right when Riley was regaining momentum, Luis was there to stop him dead in his tracks.

Joey: That was a fucking beautiful DDT.

Riley Williamson rushes to his feet and leaps at Claudio, throwing punches at him trying to keep him down. It doesn’t work however as Luis simply throws him off of him and across the ring. Riley rolls through and meets a kneeling Claudio with a running dropkick to the chest. Claudio manages to stay on his feet as Riley Williamson runs the ropes again looking for that moment that will allow him to take the powerful Luis Claudio down. However as he leaps as the kneeling Luis, Luis catches him once again, this time holding him as he climbs up onto his feet. As Riley struggles to get out of the grasp of the powerful Luis Claudio the bigger man keeps his grip, then in a brute display of strength throws him up into the air with a snap press slam. Riley flies up, then comes down behind Claudio and hits the mat chest first. There’s an audible ‘ooh’ sound from the crowd as Claudio shrugs it off like it’s nothing. Luis drops down and goes for a cover.

Kickout by Riley.

Luis pushes himself onto his feet, and in the process bends down and hooks his hands around Riley’s head and pulls him up onto his feet, pushes him back first into the turnbuckle. In a reminder of the early portions of this match Claudio lifts his hand up and then drives it across the chest of the Hardcore Champion with a thunderous knife edge chop and then follows up with a right hand straight to the forehead. Another knife edge chop follows and then another right hand, this knife edge chop / right hand sequence continuing for several more strikes until Claudio grabs Riley with a hand on either side of his head, pulls the groggy Hardcore Champion to the centre of the ring. Luis pushes Riley down into a front facelock, hooks the arm and then reaches out and hooks the outside leg, the crowd popping loudly in a bad way as El Diablo lifts Williamson up and over with a big fisherman’s suplex, dropping him back first to the canvas, keeping the leg hooked to bridge into a pinfall

But it isn’t enough, Riley Williamson managing to break Claudio’s grip on his leg and powering out of the bridge to break the pinfall at a count of two. Claudio sits up, slightly surprised that the Floridan Native was able to kick out of the fisherman’s suplex at only a two count, but he doesn’t let that sidetrack him from the task at hand, continuing the relentless pace of this match by grabbing Riley by the head and pulling him up to his feet as he rises himself. With one hand on the back of Williamson’s head El Diablo uses the one to nail the Hardcore Champion with a big forearm smash that seems to rock Riley right back into this match as he fires back with a vicious right hand that’s so desperate, so instinctual and so hard hitting that it actually sends Luis staggering back into the nearby ring ropes. With Luis Claudio leaning against the ropes Riley Williamson knows that he can’t waste any time trying to catch his breath, charging towards Luis and looking to clothesline him straight over the top rope. Claudio is ready for him however, the Puerto Rican Native ducking down, hooking an arm around the inside leg of Riley and sending the Floridan Native up and over the top rope. The problem for Luis is that Riley has quick reactions, the Hardcore Champion managing to hook his hands around the head of Luis as he comes down, managing to both land on the ring apron Claudio’s head snaps forward and he falls to the mat on his hands and knees just in front of the Floridan Native, who remains on the ring apron, waiting for the Puerto Rican Native makes it to his feet. Slowly Luis rises up onto his feet, rubbing the back of his neck, and as he turns Riley pulls on the top rope, using it to leap up, showing off some sublime athleticism as he springboards off of the top rope, hooks his arm around a shocked Claudio’s neck and then flips him around with a hurricanrana DDT spiking him headfirst into the mat and immediately hooking the leg and going for the cover. The crowd are still shocked at seeing Riley Williamson spiking Luis Claudio with that spiked hurricanrana DDT but that doesn’t stop them popping when Claudio manages to kick out at the count of two. Riley rolls off, sitting in the ring and running a hand through his hair in frustration, genuinely taken aback at how difficult this newcomer is making things for him. He takes a moment to breath before grabbing Claudio by the head and pulling him up onto his feet with him. As they reach their feet there seems to be a discernible change in the expression of the Hardcore Champion, like a switch has flicked in his head, he looks to the turnbuckle and, with Luis’s head in hand, charges forwards and just slams Claudio’s head first into the top turnbuckle with such force that Luis’s head snaps back and he falls to the mat back first. Riley Williamson is upon him immediately, mounting him and throwing lefts and rights directly at the head of El Diablo.

Ted: Looks like Riley is having a sudden change of approach coming into the match.

Joey: And this is good. This guy is the Hardcore Champion, and this is what being Hardcore is all about. Riley has been playing too soft a lot lately and tis, is the reason why he has been on a losing streak.

Riley Williamson continues to unleash on Claudio with those right hands, The Puerto Rican Native is doing his best to block as many of the shots as he possibly can by lifting up his arms and using them as blockers. The punches keep coming until Claudio manages to catch one of the arms and use it to maneuver out from underneath the former New York Native, pushing him away with a boot and quickly exiting the ring under the bottom rope. Claudio stands on the outside with his back to the ring, attempting to gain his bearings after getting punched in the face one too many times. Inside the ring Riley intends to continue the incredible pace that this match has had so far, running the opposite ropes, rebounding and charging towards the ropes. Claudio turns around just in time to see Riley Williamson leaping through the top and middle ropes and heading straight for him and this tiny little moment in time is just enough for him to dive out of the way, Riley Williamson hitting nothing but the padded flooring as he crashes and burns in a brutal looking manner. After a few seconds, Ryn Sanu begins to count Riley out.

Luis pushes himself up onto his feet from where he dived and spots Riley Williamson, laid out on the floor, not moving, just a crumpled heap of body parts with little sign of consciousness behind it.

Claudio quickly intends to use this to his advantage, grabbing Riley and slowly pulling him up onto his feet, Williamson providing nothing but dead weight as it seems like he is well and truly out right here. He pulls him towards the ring, lifting him up onto the ring apron and rolling him in beneath the bottom rope.

With Riley back in the ring Luis quickly slides in after him, breaking the referee’s count in the process and taking this match back to the relatively safer environment of the squared circle. He grabs Riley by the hair and slowly pulls him up onto his feet, the Hardcore Champion showing no signs of fighting back as he remains completely out of it as a result of his own mistake. With Riley on his feet Luis hooks an arm between the legs and the other around the shoulder and then scoops Riley up, showing impressive strength in the process especially with the height difference, and then flips him and sends him back first to the mat with a scoop slam right in front of the turnbuckle. The Hardcore Champion just hits the mat like a rock, still showing no signs of even knowing where he is right now and that is exactly what Claudio wants as he turns to the turnbuckle and begins climbing it with his back to the Floridan who remains lying on the mat. Carefully Luis makes his way up towards the top turnbuckle, remaining with his back to the ring when he makes it up there. He holds onto the bottom ropes, crouching down, before carefully standing on the top turnbuckle, his back to the ring, focusing on keeping his balance. When he makes it all the way up he takes a single glance back to make sure Riley is still in position, he is, and then leaps back! He flips in mid-air, looking to crash down belly-to-belly on Riley with a moonsault but as he’s flying Riley Williamson rolls towards the turnbuckle, out of the way of the moonsault and Claudio crashes down onto the mat stomach first, crashing and burning. Both men are down on the mat, Luis Claudio face down possibly having knocked himself out with the failed moonsault while Riley is now on his side, half leant against the ring ropes, breathing shallowly as it becomes apparent that dodging the moonsault was a last gasp move, not calculated at all. Ryn Sanu ducks in to check on Luis Claudio, and then over to Riley Williamson, trying to make sure that both of these men are capable of continuing on with this match. While he gets no answer from the Luis, Riley Williamson makes it very clear that he intends to win this match as he rolls onto his chest and then literally crawls across to Luis, struggling but managing to roll the newcomer over onto his back and pulling himself on top of him, managing to hook a leg as he goes for the cover.

Kickout by Riley.

Ryn Sanu counts two and then lifts his hand up for the third and final count when Luis Claudio manages to shoot his shoulder out, kicking out of the pinfall. Riley Williamson struggles to sit up as he looks frustrated, hoping that that was it and that he could put this match behind him as he tries to leave this matchup unhurt. As his Ribs haven’t been a concerned or a Target thus far to Luis. He rolls onto his hands and knees, still trying to catch his breath, still feeling the pain shooting through his body from that failed suicide dive. He shakes it off as best as he can and then hooks his hands around Claudio’s head, slowly pulling El Diablo up onto his feet. Riley pushes him down into a front facelock, hooking Claudio’s arm over his head and then going up for the suplex lift. Luis actually manages to use the momentum of the lift to drop out behind Riley and then jerks forwards, darting low and hitting Riley in the back of the leg with a chop block that takes Williamson off of his feet and down to the mat, Luis remaining down after the desperation counter. Claudio forces himself under the bottom rope and staggers to his feet, beating the count and re-emerging right there in the middle of the ring before Riley's eyes. Once again before, Luis unloads with a huge barrage of slow and heavy punches on Riley. He then kicks him on his right side. He backs Williamson up into the ropes with numerous kicks, as Claudio drills Riley over and over. Once he's in the ropes, Luis grabs Riley's arm and volley's him into the opposite rope. Riley comes ambling back, right into Claudio's grasp. His legs are aching, his chest feels like crap, but he's going to do this whether his leg explodes from it or not. Riley hurtles forwards right into a pained bicycle kick that somehow Claudio manages to spit out. Riley drops to the ground, as does Luis. El Diablo, scratches his way over to Riley- who's laying out like a starfish- and hooks his leg. Sanu drops for the pin

Kickout by Riley.

Luis cannot believe it, and neither can the fans. Riley rolls over, towards the the apron, however he doesn't slip out the ring. He stays stationary as Luis pulls himself to his feet to check with the ref that the almost-three was indeed what he heard.

Ted: No matter how many times Riley tries to counter with a move, Luis always seems to have an answer for him!

Joey: I’m telling you, Luis Claudio is a monster. This guy is a promise to be Hardcore Champion one day, believe me. He has The Hardcore Champion’s number.

Riley staggers forward. Meanwhile Luis continues to talk to Sanu, his back turned back on Riley. The crowd begins to cheer and Luis begins to wonder. Looking at the crowd briefly before turning around, Riley springs up and lifts Luis onto his shoulders. He then does a 150 Degree spin and Luis goes flying off of his shoulders as he hits his Finisher move, The Torrential Drop! (F5) Riley quickly scrambles to Luis and goes for a cover.

Ted: What an amazing F5, and from out of nowhere!

Joey: The Fucker is still alive….I don’t believe it.

Riley sits up and looks up tiredlessly as he tries to catch a breather. He then gets back to a vertical base whilst, holding his taped up Rib cage as it bothers him a little and picks Luis up dragging him to his feet now as El Diablo is spaghetti legged. As they reach their feet however Luis throws out a right hand to them mid-section, loosening his grip, and then a second that breaks it outright. El Diablo then explodes forwards looking for a clothesline only for Williamson to duck underneath showing that despite everything we have seen so far tonight he still has more in the tank. As he’s ducking under the arm he wraps his arms around the waist of the Puerto Rican Native, manoeuvres behind him and locks his hands together, back in a very familiar position. Williamson lifts Luis up off of his feet and plants him back first into the mat with a big German suplex! Luis Claudio hits the mat hard but Riley Williamson keeps his hands locked together, keeping the rear waistlock firmly gripped as he works his way back up onto his feet, Luis too stunned from the German to do anything about it. As they reach their feet Riley again lifts Luis up and plants him to the mat with a second consecutive German suplex, the crowd popping loudly as they cheer on there favorite superstar. Riley keeps the hands locked, the rear waistlock clinched in as he slowly works his way back up onto his feet with Luis Claudio in tow for a third time. Unlike the first time he attempted this sequence this time Luis doesn’t manage to fight back and the floridan manages to lift the puerto rican up for the third time and plant him with the third consecutive German suplex! Luis hits the mat hard and finally Williamson allows him to slump to the mat, Riley pushing him over onto his back and hooking the leg for the cover.

Luis Claudio managing to shoot his shoulder up to break the count at two. Williamson looks incredibly frustrated right here, he knew that this match wasn’t going to be easy but after facing off with E.G. Deal last week he probably wasn’t expecting this kind of leap in competition but of course that’s what you get here in the XWA. Williamson rolls onto his front, using this opportunity to once again catch his breath while grabbing Luis by the legs and dragging him over towards the corner, Luis far too stunned from the consecutive German suplexes to do anything about it if he even knows what is going on at all. As they reach the turnbuckle Williamson lifts Luis’s leg up and hangs it by the ankle on the middle turnbuckle. With the ankle propped on the turnbuckle Williamson grabs the top rope for balance, places on boot on the ankle of Luis and proceeds to lift himself up so that he’s literally standing on the ankle! Luis Claudio lets out a roar of pain as 210lbs of human weight pushes down on his ankle. With one boot pushing down on the ankle of Luis Claudio, Riley places the other one on the middle rope and holding onto the top rope for balance begins to lean back to put even more weight down on the ankle of El Diablo who continues to roar out in pain from beneath. For once it is the rules that come in handy for the newcomer as Ryn Sanu is forced to step in, first demanding for Williamson to release the illegal move and then to begin his five count when the Hardcore Champion doesn’t comply. Williamson, waits until the count of four to relinquish the hold before backing away from Luis, Ryn Sanu pushing him away and admonishing him for his actions. This gives Luis enough time to pull his leg away from the turnbuckle and pull himself under the bottom rope and out onto the ring apron where he sits, attempting to shake out the pain in his ankle but this proves to be a mistake, Williamson pushing past Sanu, charging, dropping low and nailing Luis with a dropkick through the ropes, sending him flying and crashing to the floor outside.

As Ryn Sanu begins his ten count Riley Williamson slides out of the ring after Luis Claudio, who for the second time this match has had a rather undesirable meeting with the padded floor outside of the ring, though this one looked considerably less painful and body destroying.

Riley bends down and wraps his arm around the neck of Luis as he uses all his strength to pull him up.

Riley who now has Luis up, leans Luis’s body against the ring apron as he tries to roll him underneath the bottom rope.

He finally gets Luis onto the ring apron and through the bottom rope as he now gets on the ring apron and climbs up the turnbuckle. With Riley now standing tall, he points upwards as he signals for his Signature move, The Blading Drop! (Elbow Drop) Luis lays there motionless. Just as Riley springs upoff the top rope, at the last second, Luis moves out of harms way as rolls near the bottom rope causing Riley to crash elbow first onto the mat! Using the ropes for assistance, Luis pulls himself up and leans against them while Riley quickly gets up holding his elbow with pain. Luis then spins and just as Riley turns around, he is clocked on the forehead with a Chop known as Carrera de la Muerte! (Rolling Chop)

Joey: OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!

Ted: That is it! Riley is done! This match may be over!

Riley drops down as well as Luis who falls on top of Riley as Sanu drops down and counts.

Out of last minute desperation, Riley grabs onto the bottom rope breaking up the pinfall. The Fans in the Verizon Center breath a sign of relief as the match continues to go on. Luis who is on his knees hits the mat with his bare fist several times, venting out his frustration “Come on!” He yells while looking at the Ref whom just throws up Two fingers to let Luis know that it was just a Two count. Luis then gets up and gets upfront and personal with Ryn Sanu. “Learn to fucking count!” He tell Ryn, whom is just leaning against the corner with his hands up horrified. Luis then grins and goes back to Riley who is now seen grabbing onto the middle rope. Luis looks down as Riley pulls himself up. Luis stalks his prey and just as Riley gets to a wobbly base and turns around, Luis kicks him in the gut and places Riley’s head inbetween his legs. Setting up for his other finisher, Claudio then lifts Riley up.

Ted: The end may be near.

Joey: Here it comes!

Whilst in mid-air, Riley delivers a few hard punches towards the skull of Luis. El Diablo tries to hold onto Riley, but in the end lets go of him as goes over Claudio and lands on his feet,Luis quickly turns around and Riley kicks him in the gut, places his head onto his shoulders, drops down and hits the The Stun of Death! (Stunner) Riley goes for a cover.
