​According to LATimes.com, WWE has enlisted the services of high-powered media agent Chris Bevilacqua to negotiate its TV rights deal.

Bevilacqua was responsible for the formation of College Sports TV and has negotiated TV deals for several college conferences.

Is a "Thursday Night War" Set to Begin Between WWE and TNA?
In what might become known as a "Thursday Night Wars" of sorts, TNA and WWE will be going head-to-head on Thursday nights when the Network launches, as WWE has announced a three hour block of programming which will take place on Thursdays.

WWE will be running Legend's House at 8pm, WWE NXT at 9pm, and Superstars at 10pm. Legend's House does not begin until April 10th, but in the meantime the 9-11pm time slot will see head-to-head competition between WWE and TNA, as Impact airs at the same time.

I think TNA will be alright. WWE has A LOT of programming as it is. Unless they get more writing teams in all their shows are going to suffer.

If anything, I think the only real threat will be the NXT show. People actually like NXT.

Well, Legends House is pre-recorded, so no influx of writing is really needed for that. In fact the glut of the Legends House footage was recorded over a year ago, albeit they just recorded new footage now that the Network is happening.

and NXT is a separate entity in terms of storyline and continuity, always has been. They're not doing anything different, except getting the product back on American television. NXT already airs weekly in other countries. Nothing is changing, except that us American's will be able to watch it now.

Superstars is not a storyline driven show, just matches. I really don't know what you mean be needing more writing teams? Main Event and Superstars are recorded before Raw and Smackdown live shows, they're not completely imperative to the story lines, even though continuity and troupes have been known to spill into them. IT IS NOT IMPERATIVE though, as say RAW is.

I don't think it will kill TNA, but it will hurt them. Not by an insane amount of viewers though. I'd be surprise if it did, honestly.

Sorry, but this won't hurt them remotely. I guarantee most people who buy the WWE Network is getting it to watch the On Demand programs and not to watch the actual live channel...from which all the programs become On Demand afterwards anyway.

The whole point of the concept is to enjoy WWE when YOU want anyway.
