According to PWInsider.com, the backstage rumors in WWE claiming CM Punk had been granted his early release, which began this past weekend at live events, were reportedly due to AJ Lee being given the weekend off.

When talent found out AJ Lee would not be working this past weekend's live events, the speculation began that perhaps she had also left, and then rumors began of Punk being granted his early WWE release began.

It was clarified last night that Punk has not been released from his WWE deal, and AJ Lee was simply given the weekend off live events, and is very much still with the company.

WWE Holds More Pre and Post-Show TV Trial Runs for the Network
As we have been noting the past couple weeks, WWE has been running pre-show and post-show trial runs before and after recent TV tapings, and WWE reportedly ran another trial run in Denver last night.

This time, the pre and post-show trials were broadcast on the private WWE Network feed so officials could evaluate the shows.
