M4 | EG Deal vs. Paddy Perry Empty
PostSubject: Re: M4 | EG Deal vs. Paddy Perry   M4 | EG Deal vs. Paddy Perry EmptySat Feb 22, 2014 2:10 pm

Paddy's dark grin besmirches his face and he drops down to get up-close and in Deal's face. Paddy takes a deep breath and the cameras are able to catch him speak, and he says, "Do you feel lucky? Yeah?" And the smile disappears instantly, replaced by a disapproving and stern expression. The Irishman locks his arms around the head of Deal and pulls him to an unsteady and wavering vertical base. Grabbing the bigger superstar, Paddy slams the forehead of Deal's into the apron and the steel frame beneath. The Irishman hoists Deal up by the tights onto the outside edges of the canvas and rolls him into the ring, following into the squared circle himself. The Golden Eagle slowly brings himself to his feet, but falls right into the Irishman’s trap. Unaware of his current surroundings, Deal stumbles right into his foe, who captures him and slams him down into the mat with a malicious Fisherman Buster. To add insult to injury, Paddy drops to his hands and knees and screams into Deal's ear, "Well, LUCK is for LOSERS." The Irishman slaps the mat and stands, laughing to himself as he walks across the ring and towards the opposite side of the ring, but the nearer corner.

As you can see, there certainly is some bad blood between these two.

Are you kidding me? They were yelling at each other's faces, and it’s devolved into a simian-like brawl.

The Irishman steps up to the second turnbuckle, looking back at the Egyptian as the gears in his mind lurch forward and a realization sweeps across his profile. Paddy ascends again, jumping up to the top rope with both feet perched on the turnbuckle. He turns to his left to face Deal, who now has his back propped up on the first and second ropes, and dashes on the top rope and springboards to the side, extending both legs and delivering a dropkick to the sternum, effectively knocking the air out of Deal's lungs. He crosses his arms over his chest, an impulsive reaction to the strike. Paddy takes a bit of a fall himself, landing on his upper back but the sacrifice is well worth the offensive power delivered. The Irishman rolls through and smiles for the television cameras, and for the benefit of those with flash photography. Paddy laughs a bit and brushes his nose with his thumb, appearing very snaky. He turns around to face Deal and approaches the downed foe and locks his hands under the knees, ready to swing Deal up and slam him face-first on the canvas. But as he is up above Paddy's body, The Real Deal drops and rolls through into a pin, countering with a Victory Roll like manoeuvre. The referee drops down to his chest and begins the count. "1! 2!" But Paddy is able to get the shoulder up just in the nick of time.

Deal has really been showing the XWA Faithful how resilient he is here! Every time Paddy Perry is able to dish out some harsh offense Deal is able to come back and nearly pin the #1 contender! Deal might make himself a star tonight!

While that is entirely possible, you have to bring into consideration that Paddy took out Drake Dysfunction & Hitman Alex. If Cyberslam is a predecessor of what's to come, Paddy may very well win the Intercontinental Championship.

In the same respect, what if Paddy has the ability to win the belt and Deal takes him out tonight? What kind of impact would a win from EG Deal have on the possible history of XWA?

If Deal was to win here tonight, it would surely put him in a prime position to prove himself as he's been trying to do. Deal wants people to see him as a credible superstar and a champion, but he hasn't been able to do that yet. Paddy has proven himself.

Deal, still sitting on the torso of Paddy, begins to barrage the contender with closed fists to the temple, with no thought of relenting. The crowd chants with each consecutive punch, counting in cooperation. After the traditional 10 punches, Deal jumps up and steps back, sights set on Paddy as the Irishman sits himself up, groggy and dazed. The grin on the Egyptian's face expands as the Irishman rises to a kneeling position, and Deal jumps at the opportunity. Drawing close to his opponent, Deal locks the head and takes a back bump, delivering a DDT to the kneeling form of the pugilist. The adrenaline pumping through his veins and momentum pulsing through his body, Deal immediately picks up the fallen body of Paddy and scoops him up just to deliver a devastating Scoop Slam, dropping the Irishman right on the spine, which Paddy impulsively stiffens on impact. Eyes widened as if he had taken a whiff of some good cocaine, the Golden Eagle decides that now is the time to put this match away in the history books. He measures Paddy, who progressively finds his way to stand on his own two feet. But as soon as he turns around, the Egyptian hoists the contender onto his shoulders as the crowd cheers wildly. Deal pushes Paddy over his head and forward, looking to drive his knee into Paddy's jaw so, but the Irishman grasps the knee only seconds before it makes its mark on the chin. Paddy pushes the knee back down and he stands up straight, shaking his head to imply a no towards Deal, who simply laughs and decks the Irishman with a lightning-like right hook, knocking Paddy down to the mat. Deal hooks the inside leg and goes for the pin again.

"1!
2!"

And Paddy Perry able to JUST kick out again! EG Deal doesn't have the match won just yet, but he's damn persistent. It goes to show how much a win tonight would mean to this young man. It exemplifies his drive.

Deal's drive doesn't mean anything until it keeps Paddy on the canvas, shoulders pinned down, for three seconds.

Paddy barely kicks out as the Egyptian native looks over at the zebra with a disappointed look on his face. Deal slaps his hands together twice asking for conformation if it was just a two count. The senior official holds up two fingers informing him that Paddy had kicked out. Deal shakes his head again as he grabs Paddy's hair to pull him to his feet. Out of the corner of Paddy's eye he notices the ref is just out of position and quickly thrusts his clenched fist into Deal' crotch with a low blow. OHHHH! escapes from Deal and every male in the audience as they feel the sympathy pain for him. Deal immediately hunches over holding his fun bags as he begins to fall to his knees. The zebra seeing how Deal is reacting looks at the Irishman and barely audibly asks "You hit him low?" Paddy shakes his head side to side to the ref with a straight face. As the zebra turns to focus on Deal and ask him if he wants to continue the crowd can see the charming smile grace Paddy’s face once again. As Deal finally stood back up, and turned into the Parting Glass, his body slumped over into the zebra pushing him fully out of the ring to the floor. Deal stayed inside the ring instead and simply crumpled to the mat.

This should be over but fate has smiled upon EG Deal.

No, that's Lady LUCK spitting in the face of Paddy Perry.

Paddy stands in the middle of the ring unsure of what to really do as his finisher landed but took the ref out with it. Deep down he knows by the time he would get the zebra back into the ring his window would be closed. He begins to move towards Deal knowing that he needs to stay on him to keep Deal weak until the ref can get himself back to his own feet.  The crowd was roaring with anticipation, as Deal leaned his head up off the canvas. The Egyptian's face was buried beneath sweat and agony. With every fiber in his being, the Golden Eagle turns over. With haste, the Irishman applies a double underhook, before lifting his opponent off his feet and flipping him sideways into the air. In one fluid motion, he wraps an arm around EG Deal’s torso and falls to a seated position, slamming the Egyptian supinely into the canvas with both authority and a resounding thud. The recently resuscitated official acknowledges the pinfall attempt by dropping to the mat, in his usual theatrical fashion, arm raised into the electric ambiance to intimate the start of his count. The Irishman nods his head in synchronization with the cadence of the official's count.

"1!"

"2!"

Showing his resiliency, Deal contorts his body, managing to roll his shoulder over to break up the count, leaving Paddy perturbed and ultimately preventing any celebratory like satisfaction.

He's still alive. Not many men drink the parting glass and live to wrestle in the same match, but EG Deal is proving to have some fight in ‘im!

I thought for sure it was over after that. He got everything, I mean the connection was flawless. This is just a testament to Deal's tenacity. Nothing more, and nothing less!

And you've got to wonder what's going on in Perry's mind.

Paddy leans up to his knees, his eyes widening in disbelief as his miracle working fingertips pass through his hair. Standing over top of him is the referee, with two fingers protruding before the appalled Irishmen as a means to state his case, his mouth moving, words suddenly sputtering out of the gaping hole in his to assure Paddy that it was in fact a two count. The words reach deaf ears, as the Irishman is too lost in the moment. His lips curled in a scowl, his eyes narrowing and locking on the Egyptian, who slowly began to stir. Like a viper coiled to strike, Pat waits for an opportune moment to strike. EG Deal turns blindly, opening a window of opportunity. Obliged to attack, Paddy springs into action, another deadly round is served, and Deal’s tolerance for this glass is somewhat less than the first

"1!"

"2!"

"3!"

Right after the sounding off the bell, Perry charges aggressively at his bigger opponent, unveiling a series of pain on him as he drowns Deal with repetitive punches to his torso, balling his fist and delivering them with no mercy in his thoughts. Surprisingly, Paddy backs E.G. into a corner, delivering punches left and right as he shockingly controls the contest. The referee gets involved speedily, though, bringing orders back to its original basis as he pushes Paddy away from Deal. The Intercontinental Title Number #1 Contender approaches his foe, looking to inflict more damage, but he is welcomed with a brutal Clothesline that flips him inside out!

"The Golden Eagle" traps the head of the floored Perry, effortlessly lifting the 238 Pounder into a vertical base. Deal then rounds Paddy's leg, elevating him into a Body Slam position, inevitably forcing him back-first with the aforementioned move. E.G. goes for the pin, but he only nets a two count, continuing his assault as he rapidly gets back to his feet and plants his leg on Perry's torso with a Stomp. At once, a lightbulb is lit upon his head and the bright idea hits him. He clutches his rival's wrist, dragging him to a footed base. Still holding his wrist, Deal flings the dizzy Paddy to the opposite side of the ring, particularly the corner. Paddy's back crashes off of the turnbuckle, as "The Destiny Holder" darts at him and catches him under the chin with a Clothesline, pushing him back in the corner. Deal drops down to his knees, locking his arms around Paddy's waist and raising him, seating him on the top turnbuckle. Not wasting even a second, the Egypt native ascends the corner towards the middle turnbuckle, retaining his balance firmly before pulling Perry's head in. It seems that E.G. has his foe completely under his control right now, as he lifts him in midair, colliding with the mat and pulling off an absolutely huge Superplex, "Done Deal"!

Deal stays a few moments on the ground, regaining his energy that was zapped from this Superplex, as he also got hurt for the back-first fall. Paddy, on the other hand, is completely unconscious, his arms and legs fully stretched like a dead man and his eyes twitching. Both men are sweating heavily, fatigue already catching them both, as E.G. turns to his stomach and rests his hand atop Paddy's chest. One! Two! Th-kick-out! Everyone in the arena is in total awe. Deal, as much as he is shocked, is desperate, furiously pounding on the ground. Paddy rocketed his shoulder up just in the nick of time, still fighting. Paddy begins to flail around, stirring, much to Deal's dissatisfaction, who immediately gets back to order. He nears Paddy, raising him only to a bent-down position, and hauling his head between his thighs. The Irishman is elevated upon Deal's shoulder, but he isn't there for too long as he pushes himself away bravely, taking Deal's head with him and slamming him down with a gigantic DDT!

Defying the odds, Paddy flips the pained Deal to his back, who was covering his face in great pain. Paddy forgoes a pin attempt, instead deciding to do a rare high-risk maneuver. He calmly walks towards the corner, taking his time to recuperate fully, as he takes a step to the apron and stands just outside of the ring. He then climbs up the turnbuckle, standing firmly on the third rope, as he prepares his next move. He decides to leap straightaway, cutting through the air as he curls himself into a ball-like shape, somersaulting in the same time, executing a piece of brilliance for those with the benefit of flash photography with an amazing Top-Rope Cannonball Senton! That will be one for the records!

The fans may not like Paddy a lot, but they can't help but applaud this beauty, as Paddy remains on Deal's body, only bothering to hook his leg. One! Two! Thre-JUST NO! IN THE LAST POSSIBLE MOMENT TO KICK-OUT! Paddy is deeply saddened right now, he goes straightforwardly to the referee and decides to argue with him, trying to convince him it was a three. The official has none of it, and turns Paddy away, as E.G. covers his torso and writhes around the ring. Perry makes his way towards a corner, taunting Deal up as "The Real Deal" begins to stir around, holding the bottom rope for leverage and assistance on getting up. Deal then gets to a kneeling position, and finally to a standing base, as Parry nears him. The Irishman then grabs Deal's arm, twisting it behind his neck and seeks to deliver the Heart Punch, but E.G. shows his well, his power and stops Parry's fist from colliding with his ribcage! Deal pushes Parry away, before running and connecting with the Spear! One! Two! Three!
