Word is that Bray Wyatt is the one who is writing all of his promos. He does have to submit them for possible editing and final approval, but he is essentially scripting himself for all promos.

The good ones do. Not surprised he's doing it himself. Doesn't exactly have a super look or in-ring talent. To be so highly touted at 26 means he's doing something very right backstage.

This happened more back in the day, I'd say, where the basics were set out and it was then up to the wrestlers to make it unique and work. They have less control now, I believe.

But he's coming up with good stuff, that's for sure.

I do believe he came up with this schtick himself in NXT, where you're somewhat allowed to come up with things for your character. No clue on whether or not he wrote his own promos down there either.

^ the gimmick was at the suggestion of Dusty Rhodes, as Husky Harris was failing, but i do believe his is superb at the gimmick, surpassing my early worries and woes.
